It should, like any individual policy, be either supported or rejected. Overall it keeps the discussion going, which is always positive. From a broad and biblical perspective, Israel has always been surrounded by enemies and yet preserved by God (despite their own evil, sin, and rebellion against God) because God made an eternal covenant with His people.
President Trump knows very well the danger of making himself and/or an entire nation enemies with God. Nobody around him who knows God’s promises and covenants and warnings against being in enmity with God, will ever choose enmity with God. A differing theology and eschatology could make them ignorant of the truth, for sure, and they would be unaware of their enmity with God (such is the case with many here, sadly)… Nevertheless, that is what’s happening.
The current sinful state of Israel does not negate or null and void God’s promise to overcome their evil and draw His people/His remnant to Himself fulfilling Israel’s Isaiah 53 confession and other prophetic fulfillment for the end of the age and redemptive history altogether. Trump has proven he aligns himself with God and a right understanding of His covenants (and warnings against those who ignorantly oppose it for political and racist reasons). It would be a good thing for you to cease maligning yourselves against the truth, to cease aligning yourselves with the democratic and leftist talking points/agendas of “anti-Israel / pro-Palestine.” Glorifying and perpetuating the Left’s ignorance and ideologies of enmity with God (and His people) does not help you.
