I seem to remember an article that pointed out Rockefeller had a slot machine manufacturing company, and offered to make the election machines back in the early 60's to make vote counting easier.

Doesn't surprise me. Some slot companies like Aristocrat have outstanding random number generators (others not so much), but I can't see how an RNG would help elections. Blockchain would though.
