Iran was basically a secular western country until the CIA/Mi6/Mossad helped install the hardcore regime - so they could spend decades using Iran as a WW3 boogyman.
Persians are probably the most 'western' of anyone in the Middle East - and pretty much everyone outside of the Arab Muslim regime - pro-Trump. (Now at least, not sure about 5-10 years ago but hey)

In regard to Iran, my thinking, "that's what they told us about Iraq" however seeing the people of Iranian, and all over the world rejoicing, was a good sign for me that good is being done. Still I watch and pray. Your thoughts?
