The original report might've been bs. The article was updated, with a headline now saying, "UPDATE: White House Pushes Back on Iran Terror Regime SHUTS DOWN Strait of Hormuz Again" and the first few paragraphs saying,
"UPDATE: The Trump administration is pushing back hard against claims that the Strait of Hormuz has been fully shut down.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed the reports as misleading.
Leavitt stated that what Iran is signaling publicly does not match what is actually happening behind the scenes.
She went even further, revealing that direct communications to President Trump contradict the panic-inducing headlines.
Forbes reported:
“White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said reports the strait is closed are “a case of what they’re saying publicly is different privately—we have seen an uptick in traffic in the strait today,” she said, adding, “it has been relayed to [Trump] privately” that the strait remains open “and these reports publicly are false.”""
So, as usual, it mght be better not to get our knickers in a twist just yet. We may not have the accurate story about yhe "closure" or the accurate "list" of "points" for the ceasefire. Per PDJT's TruthSocial:
"Numerous Agreements, Lists, and Letters are being sent out by people that have absolutely nothing to do with the U.S.A. / Iran Negotiation, in many cases, they are total Fraudsters, Charlatans, and WORSE. They will be rapidly exposed after our Federal Investigation is completed. There is only one group of meaningful “POINTS” that are acceptable to the United States, and we will be discussing them behind closed doors during these Negotiations. These are the POINTS that are the basis on which we agreed to a CEASEFIRE. It is something that is reasonable, and can easily be dispensed with. It’s very much like Fake News CNN last night, headlining a “source” that had no power or authority to write a Letter claiming great authority. President DONALD J. TRUMP"
The enemy wants neverending wars in the Mideast SO bad, they'll do and say anything to stir things up, sway public opinion/belief and ruin negotiations.
That's because NOT bombing Lebanon, was one of the precursors to a ceasefire. They did say.
Number10 of the Iranian ten-point plan is that all other points are met first... and THEN there will be a ceasefire, in order to negotiate the details of peace...
Trump did not attack Lebanon, however, that was Bibi (if alive, LOL) so possibly what will happen next, is that Trump will manage to block out the Zionists in his ear, and extricate USA from this mess.
(Some of the Zionists are extremely powerful, and Trump will owe BIG money to some of them for not glassing Iran.)
WHO were getting attacked in Lebanon? Hezbollah and Hamas.
Are Hezbollah and Hamas allies of the US? No, they abducted 251 hostages, many of which were American.
What are Hezbollah and Hamas in Lebanon to Iran? They are important enough for them to demand they not be attacked in a cease-fire. They have been funded by the Mullahs in Iran, same as Hezbollah and Hamas in Palestine who took 251 hostages.
Has Trump threatened Hezbollah and Hamas? Yes, he threatened to kill them all, but ultimately didn't because the hostages were released.
Did the peace deal with Hezbollah and Hamas in Palestine apply to Lebanon? Trump specifically stated that the conflict in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah was "not included" in this ceasefire deal, describing the Hezbollah conflict as a "separate skirmish".
Did Trump signal that Hezbollah in Lebanon would get handled separately? In a phone interview with PBS on April 8, 2026, Trump stated, "Because of Hezbollah, they were not included in the deal," adding that the group "will get taken care of, too. It's alright".
Can Trump directly attack Hezbollah? He could probably attack Hezbollah in Lebanon, but not without expending far too much political capital. It would be seen as an escalation of war, when Trump has clearly tried to portray these conflicts as practically over.
Could Trump, who has already said Hezbollah in Lebanon would be "taken care of", ask Israel to do it? That's probably the most clear-cut assumption of what happened.
So what do we have here?
We have Hezbollah and Hamas, who are responsible for this:
The 251 hostages taken on October 7, 2023, were released or recovered in stages between November 2023 and January 2026, with the final living hostages freed on October 13, 2025, during a comprehensive truce deal. A final body was recovered on January 26, 2026.
We have that extremely sus group on GAW who are cucking for Hezbollah and Hamas, which abducted 251 Americans. I don't care that Israel attacked a group which abducted 251 Americans, DO YOU? WHY?
I can tell you this much, if Israel abducted 251 Americans, held them hostage, then Iran bombed Israel, would you not be cheering? I think you would.
Sorry, I'm not falling for it. Muh Zionists did the right thing when they bombed Shiite Muslims in Lebanon. It was probably at the direction of Trump, who already said he was going to "handle them". Trump said the terrorists in Lebanon would "get taken care of, too. It's alright."
Not to mention, you're a handshake. 218-day account crying for muh Zionists to be dealt with, sure buddy.
They had quite a few precursors to the ceasefire, as I recall:
Iran’s preconditions for a ceasefire were outlined in a 10-point plan presented to the U.S. via Pakistan, which included 1) the lifting of all primary and secondary sanctions, 2) withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the Middle East, and 3) recognition of Iran’s right to enrich uranium. The plan also demanded 4) full reparations for war damages, 5) release of all blocked Iranian assets abroad, and a 6) binding UN Security Council resolution to formalize the agreements.
Key geopolitical demands included 7) controlled passage through the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian oversight, 8) ensuring its dominance over this strategic waterway, and an 9) end to military actions against Iran’s regional allies, particularly Hezbollah and other components of the “Axis of Resistance.” Iran rejected U.S.-imposed deadlines and insisted negotiations occur in Islamabad to finalize terms within 15 days, framing the ceasefire as a consolidation of its battlefield gains rather than a concession.
Point three was likely to be a stickler for the US, as well. The Trump Administration offered the regime the energy needed to have a peaceful nuclear energy program, and this was turned down.
Why should they not enrich uranium as they have been doing, which is clearly for civilian and medical uses? The interesting thing that Iran did, was to de-centralize nuclear reactors - making them small. <I imagine that the data-bros are interested in this concept. a small reactor to run the data center.
Furthermore, IRan used their plentiful mountains, and made the reactors underground, so that meltdowns, or terror attacks do not endanger innocent civilians.
Why does Iran need nuclear energy? To boil kettles and run clothing factories, IDK, what do you use electricity for? The reason why they are not using oil as their primary energy source is their topography. There are lots of isolated communities, and the supply-chain for refined products just was too onerous to build and even maintain - imagine narrow gravel roads, clinging to mountains - o and fuel trucks oopsy over the edge. No, small is beautiful.
The previous agreement, had IAEA inspections. Now, that agency has been exposed as leaky, as in: somebody used IAEA information to make a target list.
But, I believe that Iran will agree to International inspections again, once they can be assured of fire-walled data-security, in the inspection agency.
There is a distinction between the levels of uranium enrichment to say, power a power plant or use it for medicinal purposes and that needed to weaponize it and and create a nuclear bomb, if you are not going to use it for weapons, why bring it up?
‘Jared and I opened up with the Iranian negotiators telling us they had the inalienable right to enrich all their nuclear fuel that they possessed. That’s how they opened up’, Witkoff recounted.”
I know this: They have 10,000, roughly, kilograms of fissionable material. That’s broken up into roughly 460 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, another 1,000 kilograms of 20% enriched uranium …They manufacture their own centrifuges to enrich this material. So, there’s almost no stopping them. They have an endless supply of it. The 60% materials, Sean, can be brought to 90%, that’s weapons-grade, in roughly one week, maybe 10 days at the outside. The 20% can be brought to weapons grade inside of three to four weeks.”
Iran's goal has always been to enrich uranium for military purposes. There is no civilian use for weapons grade uranium. Civilian use has always been a smoke screen to mask their real intentions. Nuclear power is a necessary move for them given that through their own corruption and mismanagement, hydropower is no longer an option. Iran is running out of water - fast. But at the same time, they also want weapons. They are radical Shia Islamists with a messianic apocalyptic world view that feel it is their duty to bring the world to the brink.
None of the previous agreements meant anything. Inspections may have been agreed to, but Inspectors were never allowed access to critical sites and no one ever seemed to want to push the issue other than simply talk about it. The IAEA is a joke, as are most all international organizations. All talk and no action if not outright corrupt to the core. The Islamic Republic are liars. Have you ever heard of Taqiya? It is permissible for Muslims to lie to the infidels for advantage. The Islamic Republic are like the CCP. They have never been honest brokers in any way. Don't forget. Iran declared war against the US in 1979. So this is not a new war despite what some are saying. Trump has finally decided to end it before any more Americans are killed by this regime.
That is the Iranian side - one of at least 3 that I am aware of. Never agreed to by Trump. Pakistan was speaking to several different groups representing Iran. None of them were communicating with the other. Then they passed information to the US. No one was ever on the same page. Egypt and Turkey were also involved in the debacle. Witkoff is pissed.
These have always been Iran's demands. Nothing has changed. So at this point, its hard to say what was agreed to other than the US and Israel will stop hitting Iran and allow talks to take place. None of the rest of the points have been agreed to as of yet. If by chance the US agreed to any of this, it would be a victory for Iran and the US would have gained nothing. I highly doubt this is the case. Therefore, Trump must have something else in the works.
Trump may have struck a deal with Iran which Israel did not want, so then Israel bombed civilians in Lebanon after the ceasefire causing Iran to block the straight again. Israel’s bombing could have been a threat to Trump and others or a way to keep the war going
I wonder if ther are two factions in Iran right now. A new "regime" that controls the regular military and the IRGC that supports the radical terrorist side.
Maybe Trump has struck a deal with the new regime and we will now see basically a civil war break out between the two factions. The US will support the new regime, and both will pummel the terrorist freaks. Once the IRGC is exterminated then Iran can join the world and become a great modern republic.
We might see this division get larger. I hope so, because I don't think the unarmed citizens of Iran can do much themselves.
If a division can be created and exploited, we may already have boots on the ground, the regular Iranian military.
There is a division between the reformers and the hardliners. But make no mistake. The reformers are not any better than the hardliners. They are just more sophisticated in their approach but they are still cut from the same radical Islamic bolt of cloth. Besides, they have never really been given any real power by the government to do anything other than be a public face - and still don't have power to make decisions on their own. The IRGC is running the country and controls everything. The Iranian people will NOT accept a government run by the same people of the current regime - whether they be reformers or the hardliners. They see absolutely no difference between the two. There is too much blood on all their hands.
The majority of Iranian people have made their choice. They want the crown prince Pahlavi to return and lead a transition government. This choice spans all ethnic groups across Iran. Trump will not come out and publicly endorse the prince so it does not appear as though he is trying to install a US choice. There are supposed to be military defections that have taken place. We shall see if the army steps up when called upon to do so.
Trump has been arming some of the people. Unfortunately, the separatist Kurds in Syria kept some of the weapons. I think they have now burned their bridge with Trump who had been supporting them in the past. The Iranian Kurdish population does not want any interference from the Syrian Kurds. They are not interested in a Kurdish separatist movement. They are Iranian and want to remain part of Iran. Not all Kurds are the same.
This is not my own analysis, but what I am hearing from Iranians on the ground in Iran and expats personally involved in what is taking place in Iran. You will hear none of this telegraphed through main stream sources.
The Iranian military, the Artesh, are all but disappeared. The commanders fled and the rank and file left their posts after being abandoned. The hardliner IRGC and the Basij forces are the main actors in these military actions. I don't even think the Artesh have even been paid. There is also some doubt as to whether some of the Basij forces are being paid either. The regime has brought in foreign Shia militia forces from Afghanistan and Syria because of the loss of manpower on the streets. Convincing IRGC women and children to take up arms and go out there to control the Iranian people tells you everything.
Frankly, who the fuck is actually in charge in Iran right now? Seems whoever agreed to a ceasefire are not the same people in charge of the military who seem to not know there's a ceasefire?
The main force behind negotiating that so called ceasefire, are the Chinese by way of Pakistan, who are dependent upon China. Neither are to be trusted. Hard to say who from Iran is supposedly being negotiated with, and do they actually have any authority to control anything other than talk. Iran have been master negotiators at buying time and stringing their adversaries along - never intending to make good on anything - just like the Chinese. Trump also knows this. So what the strategy of this really is, remains to be seen.
China needs to find some breathing room because their economy is being hammered. It was already falling apart before the war even started. Manufacturing exports is the only part of their economy that is keeping that ship afloat and it is taking a major hit right now. The textiles industry, plastic manufacturing, and logistics, are all tanking.
As far as Iran, the IRGC is in control, such as it is. Their command and control structure has all but been decimated. There are many regional actors that are engaging on their own. The attacks are still happening. Missiles and drones have continued to fire at the Gulf states and Israel. That never stopped. So other than the US and Israel halting bombings in Iran, nothing else has really changed. The Strait is still effectively closed and needs Iranian approval for any ship that wants to transit and they must pay the toll - all in Chinese RMB from what I understand. This is a one sided ceasefire.
Is Trump also buying time to rest our personnel and restock? We already pulled a destroyer out of theater because it needed to go to Diego Garcia to rearm its missile battery. I think Iran may be calling an end to the ceasefire or "closing the Strait" because they really don't have any control of their own battlefield. The Strait never was really opened.
So the story thus far is apparent Iranian and Iranian Proxy group strikes on Israel and various Gulf States continued after the formal announcement of the ceasefire last night. Given various factors rendering rapid communication between Iranian Assets difficult.
The Israelis responded with reprisal strikes on Iran and Lebanon. Which have thus far continued. Escalation continued. In part because the IRGC only really genuinely listened to the guy we blew up. Obeying directives from the Civilian Government was always more a dice roll.
Now the deal is up in tatters. Lord knows whether it can be salvaged. And the U.S will be forced to make some sort of response.
The people negotiating with trump may not be the ones firing the missiles, so Trump may be trying to prop up the moderates to fill the power vaccuum created by the big booms when they were all meeting together.
So... what's next? Israel isn't going to stop without serious retribution.
Iran will use any excuse to walk away from negotiations.
Seems like a Mexican Standoff, to me.
The only way out I see is to continue bombing what's left of Iran's leadership and military and then spur on the Iranian People to take their country back. This may require a U.S. troop invasion, though. And that will most assuredly hand the House and Senate over to the Dems and RINOs. As it should, too, since a ground invasion is exactly one of the things Trump said he wouldn't do if elected. Yet, here we are.
I'm all for eliminating a despotic regime from the planet. But the issue is our upper echelon military leadership that are turn coats and snakes lying in wait in the tall grass around The Swamp and our even more cowardly and treasonous Legislative Branch. As well as the traitors in the Judicial Branch.
Keep bombing until there's nothing left of any value to Iran's Ayatollah leadership and the IRGC and hope that the rest of the world do snt come after us for it.
There's no real clear or easy answer, which is why a lot of us GWOT Vets, including myself, didn't want Trump to do the Zionist's bidding regarding Iran.
In retrospect, we should've let Israel do whatever they were gonna do, but keep the U.S. and our regional allies out of it by making it openly apparent we were not going to get involved on behalf of Israel.
It seems to me that the Zionists have Trump, and us, in a real pickle-ickle-ickle.
I would not be surprised to find that this is a false flag or planned from somewhere else.
I am afraid you may be right... 9/11 was a great success, in order for Bush to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, and that will be repeated to fire up the working classes. (dancing Israelis).
The general deprivation of the cost of living will add to recruitment.
Don't worry, it'll get exposed this time.
I dont believe so sadly. Unless this will all tie in to the whole israel for last or whatever the correct wording is.

Have we actually figured out who's in charge over there? Otherwise the "ceasefire" signature doesn't seem to mean much.
The difficulty is they built essentially 2 separate Military’s. The IRGC and the regular Iranian Military.
The IRGC only really reliably listened to Khamenei. And given we blew him up. Whether the IRGC reliably listens to anyone else is a dice roll .

I doubt it.

That's the most sound theory I've heard yet...
Just wait till IZRIAL blows up a tanker with a dolphin,FF everywhere.
It can't be said Trump didn't try to come to an agreement. Stone age option isn't an idle threat. Aloha snack bar.

My answer, should this be true, would be to immediately resume bombing. No explanations.
So... what's next?

It was caused by Israel continuing to attack Lebanon.
