Can you imagine: Food trucks nationwide mobilize and donate time, food for 1 week (accept donations from world wide into a fund that has an honest person managing it and scheduling the food trucks), billionaires each donate 1/2 billion to rebuild cities in record time, multi millionaires donate 1/2 million, construction companies mobilize and donate 1 month’s time to rebuild cities in record time-in turn the government provides one year of tax forgiveness, FEMA mobilizes basic trailers and shipping containers to provide immediate shelter needed until homes are rebuilt, electric companies set up massive short term illumination so companies can work around the clock to rebuild homes and businesses, insurance companies mobilize staff for on the spot filing and checks within 72 hours. Just imagine what we could do when citizens and businesses pull together with care, compassion and financial backing instead of greed, laziness and dispassion.
I propose, if we don’t get rid of Congress when all is said and done, that a law be put in place that any member of Congress who works with lobbyists and votes in the affirmative to support the lobbyist or accepts any “gift” from said lobbyist, will be fined a substantial amount (say $5 million) and/or be forced to resign from Congress and may face prison time of no less than 10 years. This includes any remuneration to family members and immediate relatives within 10 years of leaving Congress. Also, any Congressional member involved in the stock market and who may benefit from a Congressional vote, will be forced to recuse themself from voting or face a $5 million dollar fine and/or a minimum of 10 years in prison. Same penalty if found to be coercing other members of a Congress to vote in any particular way. Also term limits of two terms for all House and Senate members.
Where there is a will, there is a way. Remember how they used fear to get the populous to run and get the Covid shot? If you instill fear in this cabal, they will panic. Wait until they gather, and lower the boom. If one by one their gatherings are exposed and “dissolved “, they will panic. Nothing is impossible.
Sorry, but the Pfizer, Moderna and J&J pharmaceutical divisions must be obliterated. They can’t be trusted. Pfizer was fined before and they just continue down the same path. Moderna has never brought a vaccine to market and J&J has been sued regarding talc powder and others. No 2nd or 3rd chance.
