Yes, they can be litter trained, but if you're going to keep them indoors, you will need to rabbit-proof your house. I recommend caging them at night or whenever you aren't able to keep an eye on them.
They are rodents, therefore their teeth grow continuously. They will chew anything and everything, including furniture and electric cords. Didn't know that when we got an angora lop-eared as a pet and kissed death finding out the hard way.
