So one of the rumors circulating, at least where I live, is that the FBI is responsible for this CK thing and did so as a way to shut up conservatives but had the plan massively backfire due to the media getting way too greedy. In a way it makes a ton of sense as they've had plenty of ties to rogue trannies doing this shit before. I guess they underestimated how stupid people like kimmel would be on the matter.
Am kinda surprised by this as starbucks is more or less the epitome of every shitty leftist state. Coffee that costs $10, mugs that cost $50, and the employees making $8/hr complaining about the high cost of things while buying those aformentioned things daily.
I like to think "antifa" is an oxymoron, like when CNN claims to be a "trusted news source" or that sugary cereal claims to be a part of a "healthy breakfast". They claim to be heavily against fascism yet seemingly do the bidding of every fascist that comes their way.
I'm saying that they can't offer anything people want nowadays, at least not to the US. Like for canada we'll happily take their stuff, mostly because our government is also communist and wants to bankrupt all conservatives here.
Isn't china's market in freefall right now? Like I'm not entirely sure how they "can" negotiate when they're at such a low position. It's like asking for a raise after your company hired 3 younger people for your exact role who make a third of what you do combined.
So I'm from canada, and one of the rumors circulating is that it'll happen in pieces and not one giant wave. Alberta is basically our bastard child, our "Texas", the lone conservative stronghold in this country. When, not if, the media blames them for all of canada's future issues and paints them in a negative light you have to think they'll bail and become a new state. Once alberta goes other provinces will follow. By the end I wouldn't be surprised if actual "canada" consists of the extremely corrupt ontario and the "we murder english speakers and hide their bodies" quebec. It'll be just like the 1800s, only without setting fire to the US capital.
Meanwhile here in canada they're proposing the opposite. One of the premiers (our version of governors) out in alberta proposed a universal tax rate of 20% on everything. Right now the average tax rate across canada is about 14%, so it'd be about a 50% increase across the board. The person who proposed it got a lot of flak for it, but slowly over time other parties have gotten on board that idea.
I mean I've been hearing about india's "untapped potential" for nearly as long as I've been alive, and I was born in 1988. This feels a lot like the africa thing where people see a country with more than a billion people and just assume they can mold them.
Yeah, I have a buddy who I've known for 15 years (tldr: did a lot of sports bets back in the day, helped him buy his first house, basically family). He's been worried about me with all the chaos that happened this year and got me a 1yr subscription to a few of those dating apps. Met a cheerful lady on a christian one, even if she spent 90% of it talking. There's an old phrase "don't tell me your life story", I'm pretty sure she did twice.
Been a while since I stopped by here, life's been quite busy though so I figured I'd pop in.
Did a bunch of charity work over the past few months or so (I kinda realized that working 40hrs a week across 4 days as opposed to 50/5 doesn't actually affect me that much, so I've been using that extra day to help out other places). One of the local salvation army centres has needed help for the longest time so I've been doing 8hrs every monday there. They're even using my suggestion of including recipies in the food bags so the people there can make their meals a bit more creative.
Oh, and I went on my first date in over a year this past sunday. Went okay-ish, definitely not my type, but it was nice to get out of the house and out of my comfort zone.
I'm in canada, and the reaction to this could not be more polarized. People on welfare/doing low-income jobs are shitting their pants right now, as even with tons of government subsidies they're struggling to pay for their vinyl figurines and onlyfans subscriptions. If you're middle class though this "trade war" is the best thing ever. Healthy groceries like broccoli and cauliflower are ridiculously cheap right now, and gas is at its lowest in 30 years with most places in my area being under $1/L (or for you americans, a full tank on the average car is about $40-50).
Yeah, but change is often a long and grueling process with a ton of self-realization. Much like bruce jenner's shenanigans, I highly doubt this was motivated by anything outside of money. He's seen what grifters like shapiro, poole, and to a certain extent kirk have done and has realized it's easier to fake being a conservative than be the 83rd best leftist talking stick.
