If they actually believed the climate was harmed by CO2, then there would already be a carbon tax, since it would work to reduce CO2 emissions. There's no graft in a tax, so they push for subsidies and kickbacks through "credits" instead.

You got it. At this point, Trump cannot have anything to do with anything that demonstrates the lack of integrity of prior elections. Especially when the Florida cheating comes out.

I thought that was the chocolate starfish, and the glasses were some sort of inside joke.

If people know how you voted, then they can intimidate you into voting a certain way, and punish you if you don't.

This is no good. Opens the door to voter intimidation.

I bought a pallet of clearance incandescent bulbs the first time the Clinton administration tried to bully the industry into "energy efficiency". All of the bulbs in stock where I worked had to go, because they lacked the Energy Star markings and eco/green labeling. I think I spent about $150 on the whole pallet.

I only have a handful left after 20+ years.

Trump is working to establish exactly where everyone stands on "redo the crooked election". I think this is going to be huge in November, if not in 2024.

Think: What if a candidate won with 90% of the vote or more? What if it was 100%? Zero votes recorded for the opponent? What if the number of votes is undeniably more than the number of voters? What if the "winner" was Republican?

Congratulations, God bless, and keep up the good, hard work!

I think it really could be Trump, but I don't think that's likely. If they arrest Trump, they are doomed.

We - people who frequent sites like this, and even more importantly people who contribute significantly - are doing a whole lot of heavy lifting, just by doing the seemingly trivial stuff Q asked us to do. Dig, research, connect, share.

The bad news is, 99% or more of what we do is probably just spinning our wheels. The great news is, that remaining 1% or less, when it matters, it really matters.

My grandmother carried a 6 shooter revolver in .45 ACP as her security guard service weapon. Thing weighed almost three pounds unloaded. She was a crack shot, police officers would gawk at her at the range when she had to re-qualify, there would be maybe two holes in the target no matter what drill.

Gender isn't real. Sex is the objective ordering of one's reproductive system, which can only be understood in the context of the gamete, of which there are only two, complementary, types. Sexual orientation is not real. A propensity towards non-fruitful sexual behaviors - and any derivative behaviors - is a mental health disorder. It's not a disease, there isn't necessarily a cure, but it is also not something to be celebrated or promoted. Sex is immutable. Like your humanity, you have your sex before you are conceived. Understanding this is difficult if you are stuck in a materialistic worldview, and/or if you do not know the connection between the the fundamental nature of reality and "causality". One can be fat and still be healthy. Generally, one cannot achieve or maintain optimal health in a state of obesity. Also, one cannot achieve or maintain optimal obesity in a state of health - you'll lose the weight, if you stay healthy. They aren't "your" pronouns, they are mine. I'm the one speaking, I'll say what I damn well please. Words are literally magic. As long as others give them magical power, they are magical, and thus must be cast only with care. We can fight this by pointing out the fact and the quality of their magical nature.

I appreciate this sentiment, but the sort of "protection" in play here is literally the divider between you (boystupid) live, or you die. Same for all of us. The sick bastards in charge would rather kill everyone than lose power. By way of example, this Russia/Ukraine thing is a demonstration that their ability to do this is much less than they had counted on, but thousands are still dying there. There will be more "wars", more attempts by the sick bastards to wrestle back control, more examples of the "protection" working. Enjoy the show.

The only reason we have flu viruses, is because we isolated the 1918 disease vector, an interesting type of virus, and we've called that and all similar viruses "flu virus" ever since.

We also have cold viruses, and people generally understand this to mean several different types of viruses that cause similar disease.

Well, it turns out that cold viruses can cause flu, and flu viruses can cause colds, and sometimes you get cold and flu at the same time with one virus, and sometimes you get both with multiple viruses, and sometimes bacteria joins the party, and sometimes your overall health wasn't that great to start with.

COVID is a branding exercise for a particular strain of a particular type of "cold virus". Given the vast and conflicting marketing around COVID, plus the purposely tainted tracking, testing and data practices employed to quantify its (supposed) effects in the population, I find myself questioning everything we've ever been told about any viruses, or even any communicable disease.

To be even more explicit here, the existence of the vaccines saved millions before a single dose could be administered. It would have been best if the vaccines would have never been administered, for sure, but they had to be created and made available for their benefit to be achieved.

The rapid production of the vaccines saved millions of lives. This is a statement of absolute truth. It does not "defend or promote jabs".

The administration of the vaccines have killed people. This is also a statement of absolute truth, and does not diminish the first statement.

Because the vaccines exist, the planned extermination of millions upon millions of people worldwide could not happen, and did not happen, though the people perpetrating such things still tried and are still trying. It's possible that the existence of the vaccines has permanently derailed these plans.
