Get blood work and or biopsy done to check his PDl-1 levels he may be able to get keytruda. Many cancers know how to tell t-cells to turn off. Keytruda will inhibit this ability.

That's said, many cancers also have Pgp pumps which can pump out things it doesn't like, for example t-cells inject granzymes but there are cancer cells that can pump it back out which limits the effect.
