It's a known fact that LABS do this too. Example: my 2nd-last urine test (@ urologist) for a "possible" UTI cost (retail) ≈ $100-150. My most recent test for same bogus situation a year later, a "new" DNA test (guess WHY (hint: $$$)), cost (retail) over $1,100. SMFH what a fucking con job ... all over "we found a few red blood cells in your urine sample, so we're gonna send it out ...".
