I know he's technically an adult now, but I feel we need age restrictions with things like this. An 18 yr old is still a kid and doesn't have a fully formed and fully functioning brain in the same way a 27 yr old does. They're too brash and are still too emotional in their lines of thought. Plus there's the added issue of family political dynasties almost never having The People's interests in alignment with their own. This type of stuff is what helps cause corruption and tyranny. I say no, sorry kid, come back and try again once you've got a few more years behind you.
I get why she's doing it, but the pundits are right when they say it would effectively give back SoH to Jeffries, so I don't agree with the timing and can't fault the seemingly MAGA aligned Reps for voting to keep Johnson. The Hofts are great journos, but they're short sighted when it comes to some of the nuances at play here. Unfortunately, Johnson needs to stay at least until Trump's inauguration.

I have a friend who's going to UTI's Marine Mechanics Institute program in Orlando. The cost of just the Marine part is over $46K. He's also taking their Diesel and Refrigeration Tech courses, too, so his bill is actually over $60K for the total 15 mth programs. He's from out of state so he needed a place to stay for the 15 mths and decided to live at their student housing. That's another roughly $18K. So, for just 15 mths, he's on the hook for almost $80K. FOR 15 MTHS!!
No debt forgiveness for him because it's a trade school. The market for quality Marine Techs is ripe for the taking, though, so he'll be ok. But damn.
Meanwhile, I know practicing BAR certified lawyers that still have almost $100K in student loan debt, who graduated law school over 20 yrs ago. They all have successfully had their law school bills forgiv n under Chynah Joe's program. These lawyers live in expensive HOA developments, driv exp naive foreign cars and Teslas, and a couple have net worths in the 7 figures, yet they had their loans forgiven??!!
Makes no fucking sense to me.
I think the streets around Rikers would be flooded with truly peaceful protesters. Until [they] send in [their] goons to disrupt things. And I don't mean just Fed Bois disguised as Trump supporters. [they]'d most likely send in Antifa, who would also have Fed Bois mixed in with them.
