See what I did there? If the Deep State starts to see Trump "major announcements" as nothing more than jokes, then they will be completely caught off guard when the actual major announcement gets made.
Trump does something unpredictable (makes a completely tonedeaf move) that shocks everyone. And it has to shock everyone, including his supporters, because the Deep State wouldn't exactly count on Trump sabotaging himself for no good reason.
Call me a hopium addict if you want, but I'm not speaking from feeling here, rather, I'm trying to get away from the "shortterm letdown" syndrome that seems to always happen (did we learn nothing from datefagging?)
TLDR: Trump just threw a smoke grenade at the Deep State, and now they won't be able to tell which of his "major announcements" are going to be substantial, or just "Trump cards" (lmao). Sure, it's a let down, but next time Trump has a "major announcement", the Deep State will hesitate to spend ammunition, nor will they be able to count on being able to plan contingencies around "major announcements" anymore.

I remember watching the livestreams during the George Floyd riots. Basically they'd use agitators to get the legitimate protesters (as opposed to fed plants) all riled up and then in the cloud of chaos created by that, the fed plant could throw a Molotov or something crazy like that.
Fast-forward to January 6. There exists a video of a guy in a Q shirt chasing Capitol Police up a stairwell inside the building itself. There's something cartoonishly stupid about it, like it's not just being faked by actors, but that the actors were doing an especially sloppy job -- perhaps because they were panicking as Trump delayed the actual Trump supporters by over an hour?
It makes too much sense. The Deep State were expecting the action to take place, were all set up for it, but then it started taking too long and they were all "well shit we need to get footage of something! What if Trump never even shows up on purpose? What if, what if, what if?! SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!"

Why? When Trump promises a "major announcement," what does the Deep State think? They think that Trump is going to want to appease his base with something juicy. This in turn causes the Deep State to make countermoves.
Now? These "Trump cards" are utterly ridiculous to us, his supporters, but now the Deep State thinks, "oh, shit..." because from here on out, they won't know the difference between a "major announcement" and an actual major announcement.
And all it cost was 24 hours of hyped supporters getting let down. You know why I'm not let down? Because I expected nothing, and got nothing. The Deep State actually has a lot to lose, so again, let them be the ones to suffer from a goofy "major announcement*, spare your own sanity.
