We were all disappointed. Even those of us who were counseling for tempered expectations. The 72 hour rule is always a good place to start with any "news" that is breaking. Adhering to this rule is what separates the veterans of this war and those that came here dooming and blackpilling (nonshill category).
Actually, I wasn't disappointed. I was with the Midterms, but the announcement? I had NO expectations, except that it would NOT be a big deal.
Then when I heard Praying Medics take on the whole thing, man, I started to laugh like I've never laughed before!!!

We will always be disappointed, we must learn to live with that. When the arrests happen, they won't happen fast enough, or to all the right people. The punishments won't always be severe enough, the frog marches will be too subtle, the rhetoric too soft.

Every MSM station was predicting his announcement for weeks. Did anyone outside this forum really expect an earth-shattering announcement? I've seen this explanation used repeatedly for Q as well, how many times can they "fake them out"?
Yes, but when POTUS Trump and many others were saying "historical", Bannon saying he will go "beast mode", etc., then many around here were predicting more and maybe the DS/Cabal were also thinking this.
Wondering if we here and other platforms getting excited about something big being announced didn't help with the perception that POTUS Trump wanted to get out there?

Yes. Many of us did for the reasons pointed out by Vests123. The DS/cabal was terrified of the information that President Trump COULD have announced... and they acted accordingly. In the end, the whole thing was a giant head fake - which worked, beautifully.

Yes, at least on the polls here they were expecting huge from Trump. I checked that it would be Trump announcing his 2024 presidential candidacy, but this category had the least amount people voting for it. The other categories which included something huge had the most votes.
The wording Trump used in his post on TruthSocial kind of told me he was announcing a run for president: “Hopefully, tomorrow will turn out to be one of the most important days in the history of our country.” His word “hopefully” gave it away to me. Which I took it as if “he wins” then it will turn out to be one of the most important days in the history of our country. I think Trump is 100% correct in this post too.

Remember when he told the press he was going to make some big announcement, but then had war veterans (who the MSM constantly ignore because their lives are completely irrelevant to their narrative) talk for 30 minutes? And then made the announcement like "Oh yeah and ______, have a nice day" (I forget what the announcement was) The reporters threw an epic tantrum, if I remember right one of them pushed over a chair or something!

There is definitely so much more behind the scenes that happened that day. Trump’s truth that said hopefully TODAY will be one of the most important days in history of our nation. Yeah, most people are saying that’s just how Trump is or it was to bait the Deep state (and it did work). But something tells me within my soul that something else was triggered that day too. It’s hard, but I just need to remember that it is God’s timing and not my own.
