Is it weird that now I want JB to be the D nominee? I don't want them off the hook. ESPECIALLY WaPo. Shove that "Democracy Dies in Darkness" right up you ass...
The mean part of me wants to be able to say (with wide-eyed sincerity, of course), "But you voted for that" to the all the TDSers and the troll brigades...
There was a blind a couple of weeks back on CDAN that the Gettys have $500M in committed dollars ready to go with another $250M pledged depending upon Gavin's "performance". I would not be surprised. Man, I cannot stand that guy. Just a prick.
I do think this was a reasonable point. However, I lean towards sun_wolf's observation that they did it behind his back. There was a bit of a "holy shit, they really did it" look on his face.
It is so very confusing. That day changed a lot for me. My now husband got called up and for two weeks, it was trips to the armory every day and then he left on my birthday. I drove to my friend's house and got really drunk that night and not in a fun way. More sitting in the chair and staring at the ground.
The only time I have ever seen a human go through a parasite panel was an episode of River Monsters/Jeremy Wade (Fish on!) Because he had spent so much time in the tropics and out in the wild (and I think they were running out of ideas for fish monsters), the episode was on "the little monsters " potentially inside of us. He didn't have anything bad that I can recall, but after several crew members came down with parasite infections was when they filmed it.
You know, when I hear about the chef, it makes me think of Chef on South Park. The intro episode for his character is 'Cartman Gets An Anal Probe'. He was always singing to the kids about sex. (Salty Chocolate Balls). SP is used for a lot of comms. I am just pulling stuff out of the air here, but maybe there is a connection here for comms? Issac Hayes basically quit the show after they went after Scientology and Scientology never really bounced back afterwards.
Long time ago, I used to live in SF and would take the bus to work. One of the lines went through Chinatown. In the morning they would be delivering food to the restaurants and there used to be this truck that would deliver whole pigs. Now, I will admit that I love some BBQ pork, but the sight of dead pigs stacked several feet high in the back of an open truck was always a little unnerving. I cannot imagine the nightmare of what those people saw when they opened that container. I don't know how you sleep after witnessing something like that.
Oh, and clumps of cells don't break the wench.
Saw an interview with Dr. McCullough recently and he echoed this. That the problem isn't admitting a mistake in judgment - people admit their fallacies all the time whether it is a problem with alcohol, an affair, etc. This is dealing with the fact you may be a ticking time bomb.
13 years ago this weekend was the PG&E gas line explosion that took out a neighborhood in San Bruno, CA I grew up in the area and I had a class reunion around the same time. When the street exploded, the asphalt became a kind of sticky pitch which contributed to the destruction of the homes that were not near the explosion site. I talked with one girl whose parents' house was yellow tagged afterward. There was a hole in the wall of her old bedroom that was a result of the burning pitch.
That said, people who did not lose their properties were allowed back in right away. I knew of a number of people who had been evacuated but that was really only during the time they were fighting the fire (the winds were bad that night - frankly, they were extremely lucky because there is a eucalyptus grove that borders the neighborhood and had that ignited, the fire would have jumped into the next neighborhoodand and things would have really been bad). Residents had to show ID to prove they actually lived there. Which was understandable because there were a lot if looky loos and they wanted to make sure to keep looting at bay. The "command center," if I recall, was a couple of trailers.
Symbolism blog wrote a whole post on tigers. They are not comms aware and extremely dangerous. Maybe this is a comm.
I saw him interviewed on the PBD podcast yesterday. I had no idea he never actually met Obama face to face. I looked back and apparently that was something reported at the time of his firing. Not sure how I missed that, but I did. Still, pretty odd of Obama to tell Trump of all the people in the world he needed to worry about were Putin and Flynn. He at least met Putin.
Towards the end of the interview, they very clumsily tried to bring up Devolution (Trump being CIC) and ""there qre people on the internet/Qanon", etc. He shut it down pretty quick saying it was BS. But the question was asked so badly, plus, he was pretty evasive. It didn't help they were coming up towards the end of their time. It may be BS, I always keep that in the back of my mind, but when you just spent two hours talking about 5GW, uh, how do I know you aren't just evading the question because it isn't time yet?
When he was at Fox, he tried to get an interview with Putin. Then he received a visit from the government about it. At the time it was very early stages. He asked them how did they know this because he had not even told his wife about it yet. I am thinking that might gave been the turning point for him.
In terms of the slings and arrows he endures, on the day after the debate, the PBD podcast did a deep dive on Trump. (They do split things up into chapters in the video description, but the chapter starts around 1:07.) It is a relatively normie take, but I think it has good insight into the psychology of it. Ironically, if you search DJT and loneliness, you get a bunch of shallow Junior High bullshit of "ha-ha, he has no friends!!!", but this isn't that. The Onassis/Churchill analogy is interesting (although I don't think he intended to say divorce). Given the thread topic, it is an interesting take from a non-anon perspective.

I have been mulling this over the last few days.
My initial impression was he is very bright but naive. Has potential but is too young for the job at this point in his life - he needs the humility of failure. But he also kind of reminds me of someone who desperately wants you to go out with him and will say anything and everything you want to hear to get you to agree. When you finally relent, the charm disappears and he becomes an asshole. So, is he Obama 2.0?
But he says a lot of things that Trump supporters would agree with - hell, I can't say I disagree. It is also a platform that a lot of normies would agree with, but if it were coming out of Trump's mouth, they wouldn't listen because of their TDS. So is it a way to get the message out using a different mouthpiece as a way around TDS until they are ready to see beyond that? Or is it a bait and switch?
I don't know the answer, but ultimately, my gut tells me it is not organic. I just don't know who is playing the cards.
I recently had a brief conversation with someone else who had worked for the CDC and has since left. The Vitamin D theories were being talked about amongst the more rank and file early on. They would try to get the attention of the higher ups but to no avail. The lockdowns kept everyone at home and it prevented a lot of discussion about what was going on. Lot of frustration and low morale.
