The judge doesn't have jurisdiction anyway because the defendant was immediately moved to Louisiana. The judge's filing is against the head of ICE's New York Office.

They need to pass the CR to fund the government through September. The fiscal year 2026 budget will include all of the DOGE cuts, Trump's tax cuts and whatever and will be done through reconciliation. It's the best opportunity to shrink size of the federal government for the first time in 50 years. The democrats want to avoid that and apparently Massie does also.

Blue Sky is the X knock off that all the leftists fled to. Word is it's a giant echo chamber with heavy censorship.

Despite the absurdity of it, it's not a wide ranging decision. It focuses on payments for work already performed.

Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh in their dissent...

"Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer to that question should be an emphatic “No,” but a majority of this Court apparently thinks otherwise. I am stunned."

Great way to put it - political marketing. He's an actor playing his part in the marketed war.

Was he the one who tried recruiting people to go fight in Ukraine or is Macgregor talking about something else?

I think it was an all out effort to deny Trump this mineral rights deal before his Congressional Address on Tuesday. The deal would be a major step towards ending the war and they want to deny him the win.
