Well, this is disgusting. Zelensky chaired this meeting...of his "Caucus" in the U.S. Senate. (Was Lindsey Graham attending? If he had, his subsequent volte-face would be significant.) He probably figured that Senate support gave him the upper hand at the subsequent Trump meeting, and that Trump didn't count. But doesn't this mean that the Senate was involved in negotiating foreign policy? isn't that a no-no?
