So... if those funding the violence are working to destabilize the US government, wouldn't they be committing an act of war? Especially if they are foreigners or aligned with US adversaries.

The "paid protestors" would actually be foreign mercenaries and/or traitors.

Could the US military then treat this action as an attack on the US homeland and be able to conduct operations on US soil?

I agree, but unfortunately intelligence (and/or knowledge) is no guarantee of wisdom...

Just visit a university to find a bunch of 'intelligent' fools filled with knowledge.

What ppl often refer to as 'AI' these days are LLMs (large language models), which are essentially text-generators (like an advanced version of the predictive typing feature on your mobile phone)...

LLMs can't do math and they can't count, they just generate text that sounds/looks right based on training data - a classic example is chatgpt stating there are only two 'r's in 'strawberry'

An old date-time library would be vastly more accurate than 'AI' in computing date intervals

If a pardon is given by the "President", then can the next President rescind the pardon (like an executive order)?

So JD Vance can show up and preside over the senate when he feels like it (when it's important to do so)?
