Dextromethorphan is the right handed brother of codeine, but more effective for suppressing cough. Useful for the annoying cough if you're not bringing up much.
Unless you have a lot of phlegm / secretions in which case you WANT to get that out.
Hydration would be useful then in thinning out the secretions so you can cough them out.
Besides if you have the flu you're usually running a fever and will need more fluids than usual.
Taking in more fluids also reduces the feeling of faint whenever you stand up.
For those with a really bad cough especially if with some shortness of breath - some of the protocols do call for the use of short course of steroids along with antibiotics.
Probably significant because

Masks are still required in most hospitals - rules are variable - especially where there is patient - health worker interaction.
This is a good reminder of how STUPID (and not scientific based) the wearing of masks is for "COVID-19".

A good vitamin supplement with the B complex vitamins would be a great idea, along with the essential minerals. Nothing fancy or expensive. And of course a well balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Especially the green leafy vegetables.
Patients coming in to the hospitals often have vitamin complex added to their intravenous fluids - which have a yellow color - hence the "banana bag".

What does he mean that he can't find a job as a doctor? There's a huge shortage of doctors, in places away from the large cities. Some places would gladly have his expertise - with all the perks to those hired. He could even be in the academe. Many university hospitals would love to have him on staff, to pull in all those grant monies and donations.
Perhaps he means can't find a CUSHY ADMINISTRATIVE job. Or likely he doesn't want an academic position or a "lowly private practice" position. Or even more likely - like all these academic and administrative types - he doesn't have the broad knowledge base or skills to take care of patients.
Having the time to make videos goes contrary to their statements that:
They were overwhelmed with COVID patients. Hospitals were full of sick COVID patients. Doctors and nurses were dropping from exhaustion.

Previously any medication / medical product that had even some side effects would be immediately taken off the market and investigated. But not the Clot Shot. They just rammed it through any regulation and continue to push it.
As your posts show, these side effects are horrifying, even causing death.

Fish sauce is fermented and strained. No solids. Also too salty for anything to grow in it. Avoid it and you cut out much of Southeast Asian cuisine. You might as well cut out cheese and yoghurt, too.
Yah think egg nog is safe? 1/3 eggs in the US have Salmonella. Sauerkraut? Tasteless Fermented cabbage - yuck! Beef tartare? Absolutely raw beef. Aged steak / duck/ fowl? Letting the meat rot to soften it.

So are traditional values. Despite widespread poverty people still value family and relationships, with large extended families.
Perhaps I should say BECAUSE of widespread poverty- most ordinary Filipinos don't put career and wealth above all else, thinking that babies are only a hindrance to one's future . People depend on each other for survival. It is a frequent occurrence to have parents have children stay with relatives who are better off.
Considering how dependent the Philippines is on the International Monetary Fund / World Bank, this is a huge middle finger /FU to the Deep State.
