Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been detained amid reports a military coup is underway in the country.
The National League for Democracy, Myanmar's governing party, said that Suu Kyi and other senior figures from the ruling party have been detained in an early morning raid.
The move comes after days of escalating tension between the civilian government and the powerful military that stirred fears of a coup in the aftermath of an election the army says was fraudulent.
Spokesman Myo Nyunt told Reuters by phone that Suu Kyi, President Win Myint and other leaders had been 'taken' in the early hours of the morning.
'I want to tell our people not to respond rashly and I want them to act according to the law,' he said, adding he also expected to be detained.
Click the link to the rest of the article. Sounds a lot like a plan we have all been reading about, no?
So Smartmatic and DOMINION ran their elections also???
Ha lol can we find out?? I mean I think the lawsuits against Sydney and Rudy would be DOA wouldn’t they?
Bring those guys over here so they can show the US military how it is done... apparently somebody has to.
Except they seem to be coming and going, and the soldiers are on the outside of the gate keeping people out.
If youre trusting the military of Myanmar to do this "the right way" then I think you may want to look at their history.
Consider optics.. if you're looking at the Myanmar military only through the MSM view of the oh-so-opressed Rohingya minority who didn't want anything bad, just peaceful Sharia law in Myanmar (think what the Rambo IV movie didn't tell you) then yes, they are only baaaad and nothing else.
This. The fact that the MSM has been kissing Ang San Si Kyii’s ass for years makes me give her the side eye tbh. Don’t know a lot about Myanmar/Burma but if the media are singing someone’s praises a la Tony Blair, Obama, Biden etc I’m going to be sceptical about their status as a good guy to say the least
Exactly.. Aung San Suu Kyi has been awarded Nobel Peace Prize, Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, Rafto Memorial Prize human rights award, Congressional Gold Medal under GWB and even International Simón Bolívar Prize of the Government of Venezuela, do we need to know more?
Oh yes, we do.. maybe about how she met Soros back in 2017.. Who do you think her handlers are? https://www.nationthailand.com/news/30303952
Aung San Suu Kyi has been awarded Nobel Peace Prize...
That's all I needed to hear.
Amen to that, brother..
This is the right take. As an ethnic Asian person myself (also having lived in Southeast Asia for a good part of my life), I can say that the real situation in many of these countries is often far more complex than the simplistic narratives portrayed in Western media. I should also add that the following quote from the Philippines’ Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin is interesting:
Oh is this the new ”WhItEhOuSe GoInG dArK iS nOrMaL!”?
calm down dude. everything is happening at the exact moment that it should.
There have been military takeovers in Burma/Myanmar so many times, I don’t know how these poor people know what to believe anymore.
You think the Myanmar military has the same level of integrity that the US military does?
Do you think that all military coups in history have been benevolent?
Okay, I guess.
And there already has been a coup, it put Biden in charge.
The US military has everything. The server raid, the intercepted packets, the Leonardo testimony. They've known this was going on for years. It's not a mater of if, but when.
The Italian stuff.
Exactly
Pompeo had concerns about their NOVEMBER 2020 elections https://mm.usembassy.gov/statement-by-secretary-michael-r-pompeo-burmas-parliamentary-elections/
This needs more visibility for those wondering if this is a good or bad thing.
This might indicate that the good guys are in control. While the optics of this might not be great THERE (given their history), it seems like the election left room for doubt and might have tipped the scales in favor of the military stepping in. Suu Kyi may be well liked by many but if the election wasn’t legit, it wasn’t legit. I trust Mike P. This is such an interesting development, given everything that has been/is going on.

I don‘t want to give them clicks. I wager they condemn it?
Thanks!
monitor other countries elections. crickets in our election. CLOWN WORLD
The true tragedy of the Fake News world we live in, is that it's insanely difficult to learn anything about Mynamar. I am finding various articles but who knows what I can actually believe. Are the military there on the good side, the bad side, what does everyone stand for, what dynamics are at play? There's no true journalism, it's very sad.
I've been following Myanmar and Thai politics for close to 30 years because it's so weird and Western "Experts" are almost always wrong. Trying to get good information from US sources is a waste of time. Australian sources are better, but the only English language paper that I found worth reading was the South China Morning Post. Unfortunately, the CCP took it over in Nov 2019.
Mind dropping some knowledge, what's your opinion on what this means? What values do you assign to the military, the civilian leadership, etc? Your take?
I haven't been keeping up for the past 4 or 5 years, but here is what I remember.
The NLD is very corrupt. They are more interested in staying in power than anything else. Accusations of election fraud go way back. It appears that they are puppets of international globalist concerns who work to help keep them in power. The economy has improved a bit after they came to power, but that has stalled. Most of the other promises have not been realized.
The military is professional. They do not like being misused as they have in the past. They hate corruption. They want a strong Myanmar and know that governmental corruption is the largest impediment to a strong economy. It was a Thai economist who first proved this. I wish I could remember his name.
Btw, Myanmar has several ethnic groups and quite a bit of ethnic and religious tension. Plus they have some powerful drug lords in the north with connections to China. The military would prefer to spend its time eliminating opium production.
Your post and other information I'm gathering is giving me hopes that this is a very good sign for us. Would you say this is exciting news as it relates to Q and the US? Or would you guess this is just Mynamar military doing what they do.
I think it is. What most people don't know is that the Myanmar military had a series of internal conflicts and possibly purges around 2011. These were focused on eliminating corruption. The current military is the result. But political corruption plagues all parties and Chinese manipulation runs deep. Will have to wait and see.
Suu Kyi was a globalist puppet.
But she turned her back on them once she became leader. So they declared her an enemy.
This coup is likely globalist-backed. They’ve infiltrated and subverted our own military here in the US, if they can do that here, infiltrating Myanmar’s military must have been a piece of cake. The CIA and our SpecOps forces were probably instrumental in this coup.
Suu Kyi has always been a globalist puppet. She still is. The only people she turned her back on were the people who put her into power in the first place. The NLD is very corrupt.
I only remember her being portrayed as courageous and heroic in msm like Time. In retrospect that was prob as sign she actually isnt
Same here. Daily Mail is literally the only search result from an outlet I recognize. Which means that MSM has yet to cover it. If it continues like that, then we might have something.

Also, check out the documentary. Amazing family being used by God!
Beaten by Myanmar!!!

It will always be Burma to me.
Is it really a coup if they are taking the country back after a major election was stolen?
Wouldn't surprise me if we see a few more like this pretty quickly. Tons of these countries are all run by fraudsters just like the USA and Canada etc.
Dress rehearsal for here in the U.S?
Man, I can say one thing for sure, Dominion has one hell of a sells staff....
Sales pitch: You want dominion over your state?
Yeah BABY A.B.C.
No, they don’t need a sales staff. Dominion can sit back and name their price because there is an unlimited supply of dirty politicians that will pay them with the citizens tax dollars so they can cheat to stay in power.
The "sales staff" is essential because it is a tax write off...but your point is completely valid....
^^
I am so ready for this to happen here
Things that make you go hmmmmm...
Statement from illegitimate usurpers:
BREAKING: The White House has released a statement condemning the Burmese military's takeover of the country and arrest of civilian officials, stating, "The United States opposes any attempt to alter the outcome of recent elections or impede Myanmar’s democratic transition, and will take action against those responsible if these steps are not reversed."
Follow @Breaking911 https://t.me/breaking911/573
Of course Joey B condemns this. Because he knows what’s coming
The civilian government dropped the ball, so the military had to step in and roll up their sleeves once again.
To be fair, they haven't fcked it up too badly in the past.
Coming out the day before the US military announces the same?
Zerohedge has an article up...do we trust Zerohedge?
About as much as OANN
If it turns out that Myanmar is more free than America... ?
Maybe just the first domino to fall. The rest will follow
This is like a wet dream...
Dominion machines?
Hopefully they plan to clean up their mess. From what I read she made plenty of deals with Hrc and BO. reuters
Please oh lord, let it happen here! A military coup is what we need. ORDER IN THE HOUSE!
Election Fraud.....hmmmm....Maybe this will be the start of the take-down of all Dominion machines, and all elections throughout the world where Dominion voting machines were used....can you imagine? Freedom Day for sure. US next please.
Follow up: white house Jen psaki comments on this saying it is bullshit that the military did a coup and not good for democracy. Lol No, I'm serious. Maybe I feel the fear? The panic?
How much is a one way ticket to Myanmar?
TIL: Burmese military > American military
Hmmm Freedom Day Tomorrow?
And all the progressives say, "power to the people!"
Let's just hope they don't suffer from memory loss anytime soon. 'Cause they're gonna need it.
Now that are news! Would like to see a repeat of this in some other countries. I think there is some fraudulent election out there.
Oh cool, the movie is playing in Myanmar as well. Looks like theyre ahead of us though.
