My question? Why didn't Gov.Abbott simply order all Texas power generation facilities to operate at peak efficiency and force Biden to send his army to Texas to stop us? Does anyone think Biden would have sent the army to shut down our national gas power generation facilities?

I think that even if Biden ordered the military in to shut down the power plants they most likely would not have followed his orders anyway so to order them in would be a double edge sword for Biden.

And you don't mean 'peak efficiency', that would be about where they did operate at, you possibly mean max output.
We used to run our 100 megawatt turbines at between 98-108 megawatts, peak efficiency depending on operating conditions. Temp and humidity and air pressure, other factors all determine where you run best while not polluting. But with some tuning we could run it up to 120 megawatts, say, safely under certain conditions, higher still if we didn't care about the pollution.
That's what Texas wanted to do, run them up.

The Governor 'may have' been able to convince enough people to do that, to refuse the Feds and run, but know that technically it is War or jail when you do.

To be clear, Biden did not specifically refuse to allow Texas power plants to operate at 100% capacity. The EO he issued only spoke to allowing ERCOT to bring enough power online to ensure grid reliability, and nothing beyond that. However ERCOT defines what those parameters are, not the feds, so that means Biden actually authorized ERCOT to do whatever it took to keep the grid going, even if that meant some of the power sources were not as clean as many would like.
Hence Biden literally did the OPPOSITE of what many are wrongly saying he did. I hate BidenHarris as much as the rest of you, but ERCOT is to blame here, not the feds.

Just an interesting note on “green energy” none of the power generated by these sources is stored. So when they stop it stops. Natural gas is stored in the earth at high pressure and used on demand. Propane a derivative of Nat Gas is stored and available on demand from both small and large tanks. Storage makes the exponentially more reliable and far less expensive than solar or wind. Germany just went thru a similar scenarios about two weeks ago.
Your statement of "none" is incorrect. Many solar/wind installations have battery storage. It isn't enough of them or enough kWh to be nearly as reliable as NatGas, and battery tech has a long way to go before it is fully practical, but this storage does in fact exist.
