A vaccine is typically a dead or weakened virus that doesn't cause the illness in question, which allows the body to build antibodies to said virus and then they're protected in the future. THOSE work just as intended and aren't an issue. I would heavily suggest that since you've stated that your wife isn't going to do the COVID vaccine and agrees its dangerous, you go ahead with other vaccination. Make it clear with the doctor you do not submit your child to be part of the testing phase of any COVID vaccination.

I wouldn't include HPV in with the others. My stepdaughter got the HPV vaccine & developed cervical cancer not long after. Plus I believe there exists more of a moral objection to that one than the others. Just my 2 cents. Of course the OP has a son, so HPV vaccine is a moot point in this case.

The doctors denied that it wasn't due to the vaccine but 8 years later as i was researching the MMR vaccination on the CDC website, on the very bottom of the page in extremely small print, they finally admitted that the MMR may cause Febrile seizures and that a child may or may not grow out of and could possibly result in death.

Keep in mind when someone says "listen to the doctors and the science as they know more than you", that medical malpractice / negligence is in the top-three causes of death. The writer is a doctor who talks about the risk of each illness and the risk of each vaccine, and he offers a plan for choosing WHICH vaccines a parent may want, and proposes a schedule. For instance, why does a toddler need a HepB vaccines, when the illness is transmitted through VERY risky adult behaviors? At the very least, you may come to a compromise.

Yes, ask for more time. And look into spacing the vaccines out. 1 at a time, no more than 1 at a time! Many parents do this option. The worst vaccine seems to be MMR, so if you can space this one especially out long down the road, it would buy you more time.
Also in your research, look into building children's immunes systems. Best for them to start is breastfeeding and then the mother's antibodies are passed onto the child. (So if your child was breastfed, the child is already being protected.) Then aim for organic, nutritious foods. Avoid as much as possible sugar and additives, MSG and aspartame especially.

First off, this is a very big and complicated issue. There is A LOT of information, misinformation, and disinformation out there. The search engines supress a lot of information that might (or might) not be true, only because they are counter to the "mainstream" narrative.

Take a couple of childhood illnesses that many children have gotten in the past. First, there is the measles. We are told today (propaganda?) that the measles are a horrific thing and ALL children MUST be immunized with MMR vaccine. But is it really so bad?
Here, in the TV show "Brady Bunch," the kids all get the measles, and it is just a fun time. This was only 40 years ago.
Another childhood illness is chicken pox. Children today are often required to get a chicken pox vaccine. Why? I had it when I was a kid. It was no big deal. No worse that the Brady kids with the measles.
First off why a 15 month old? They are the least likely to get it and to die. If anything ask her to wait and see what happens to those who have already gotten stuck with this experimental shot. They have no idea what the long term effects of these shots are gonna do. Why risk it?

My hubs was reticent to believe me at first, and I was adamant: we have a perfectly healthy boy at the moment and bombarding his system with these all at once will literally damage his brain. We got approval from the pediatrician to follow the Dr. Sears schedule, and then "delayed even slower". Plenty of time to catch up but not much to overcome the damage once it's done.
Also we took our son to a naturopath to discuss this. She said to stop all together, immediately, and dont get a single one ever again. She told us, MMR is obviously the worst. And even if he got measles, etc, she can get him through the illness, no problem, and his system will be even stronger.

If your wife truly fears the disease more than the vaccine you likely won’t win. Just the fact that the COVID vaccine is an experimental vaccine? The FDA hasn't approved it. It's only approved for "emergency" use. Keep in mind when someone says "listen to the doctors and the science as they know more than you", that medical malpractice / negligence is in the top-three causes of death. As much as they think they know, they don't know and sometimes make plenty of mistakes which end up ruining lives. They are not infallible, they are not Gods (despite them playing with genetics and human lives) and even though they are the "experts" they still have a lot to learn. Is your son in daycare or other situations where he is exposed to a lot of people or illness? If not, I’d ask for more time. He literally can’t catch these illnesses just in your home, so ask to wait until he’s going to be more exposed.
In the meantime, I’d look for the video Vaxxed, or another: The Truth About Vaccines. You can also read (both of you) the book: The Vaccine Friendly Plan. The writer is a doctor who talks about the risk of each illness and the risk of each vaccine, and he offers a plan for choosing WHICH vaccines a parent may want, and proposes a schedule. For instance, why does a toddler need a HepB vaccines, when the illness is transmitted through VERY risky adult behaviors? At the very least, you may come to a compromise.
Unfortunately,the existence of vaccines has allowed us to believe that the population is out there just teeming with these viruses, and the vaccines kill them. Obviously, that’s not how it works - healthy people don’t spread disease. But it takes time (I’m telling you from experience) to shake that off completely. Start small and don’t panic. My first 2 kids were fully vaxxed, but I was hearing a lot of info and starting to question. My 3rd had visible reactions to her first vaccines, and that’s when I started to pay a lot of attention really fast.
You’re both clearly wanting what’s best for your child, and try to remember that. It can be too easy to work against each other instead of with each other.
Yes, ask for more time. And look into spacing the vaccines out. 1 at a time, no more than 1 at a time! Many parents do this option. The worst vaccine seems to be MMR, so if you can space this one especially out long down the road, it would buy you more time.
Also in your research, look into building children's immunes systems. Best for them to start is breastfeeding and then the mother's antibodies are passed onto the child. (So if your child was breastfed, the child is already being protected.) Then aim for organic, nutritious foods. Avoid as much as possible sugar and additives, MSG and aspartame especially.

First off, this is a very big and complicated issue. There is A LOT of information, misinformation, and disinformation out there. The search engines supress a lot of information that might (or might) not be true, only because they are counter to the "mainstream" narrative.
This means your wife must THINK FOR HERSELF. This is not something that many people seem to be able to do these days.
Second, she should start by asking a simple question: Are vaccines effective in what is claimed they can do? Look for evidence on BOTH sides of this question. Hint: She will NOT find any EVIDENCE that they are effective. She will find many CLAIMS that they are, but there is NO EVIDENCE that they ACTUALLY do what is claimed. It is a THEORY, and an UPROVEND theory at that.
Third, then she should also ask another important question: Whether or not vaccines are effective, are they SAFE? Again, she should look at BOTH sides of this question. She will find lots of CLAIMS. But what is the EVIDENCE?

Oh Ok now I understand. I also worked with Autistic children in past. Many were damaged by the MMR VAX. (One family I worked with had all three kids damaged by MMR). The MMR vaccine is a combined vax.

When I first started researching vaccines (my daughter started having seizures at a young age), I started with the book "Dissolving Illusions" - I highly recommend it, as it covers most of the common childhood vaccines in great detail. I used it to help me convince my husband we needed to stop vaccinating her!
(We fully vaccinated our first only up until 4 years, after which she suffered brain damage and loss of speech from a seizure, and never fully recovered. Since then, we've had two more kids, and neither of them have ever received a vaccine. They are both extremely healthy, smart, and happy kids.)

My hubs was reticent to believe me at first, and I was adamant: we have a perfectly healthy boy at the moment and bombarding his system with these all at once will literally damage his brain. We got approval from the pediatrician to follow the Dr. Sears schedule, and then "delayed even slower". Plenty of time to catch up but not much to overcome the damage once it's done.

For generic vaccines, try and dig the document thats public about the case where the govt had to accept that Autism was caused specifically by vaccines. There was a govt witness who later turned whistleblower of sorts when the govt twisted his words against his intent.

I’m anti covid vaccine and now anti flu vax but I vaccinated my kids from all childhood illness diseases. At least I did with what I believed are true vaccines and not the new term for a vaccine. I had anti vaxx friends and I totally understood their point and respected it. I always say they feared the vaccine more than the disease, I feared the disease more than the vaccine. If your wife truly fears the disease more than the vaccine you likely won’t win. I don’t regret vaccinating my kids from the childhood diseases but I did do the HPV for 2 of my kids and greatly regret and will NOT be doing it on the remainder. It’s all about gauging risk vs benefit and with this covid vaccine I finally see the true fears of my anti vax friends. I have lost confidence in the honesty and integrity of the medical community.
