LA County frens, I have to travel there in a week. What is the current general consensus towards masks out there? Are there still tons of mask wearing sheep?

I never wore one outside from day 1 even when weho threatened citations and hung banners all over that said COVER THAT FACE and no one had the balls to say shit to me. Since the 15th I’d say maybe 25% wear them outside and 50% inside. Depends where you’re at. Inside masks have increased the last weeks because of the variant propaganda. I plan on entering every place without one until I’m told to put it on.

I had this thought today. Do you ever wonder if people get paid to wear masks? Example in Florida, no mandate but you still see a lot of people with masks outside (at least I do in Tampa.) Riding bikes, in cars, walking, saw a guy on a skateboard etc. They’re always young adults doing active things outside with masks. So it just popped in my head that maybe they’re part of the scam. Rioters are paid... why wouldn’t effing outdoor mask fags? You can’t tell me early 20’s/late teens are that paranoid about their health.
Fear is a hell of a drug. It kills any rational thought. If you get all of your news from TV and Big Tech then you probably believe that the mask is the only thing preventing piles of bodies in the street (well, that and the experimental gene therapy).

I’m pretty young (college age) and I agree that young people are impressionable but I’m not sure about the easier to breathe bit. I’ve always hated masks, and besides how I feel about them politically I find them very uncomfortable and annoying. I think young liberals just have an odd sense of moral superiority wearing the mask. They don’t enjoy the actual physical sensation but the idea that they’re “doing their part” for the greater good. Then again I don’t know if it’s harder on older folks—all I know is wearing a mask at the gym all those times I had to sucked.
Yeah idk I don't think anyone enjoys them, but it's like, people who can't run up a hill are going to be way more affected. It really didn't make breathing too hard for me at the gym, I only felt it when above 8,000ft (and it was very fucking annoying).
My parents on the other hand, can barely get up a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing, even without a mask.
People who were skeptical about moving out are regretting it I'm betting. Wonder how many more of these lockdowns people gotta go through before they get what's really going on? Or maybe a lot of them are too scared or brainwashed to stand up against their government.
We should all opt out if paying taxes too! No more of this shit, fuck them. There is absolutely no reason in the middle of summer to have people wearing masks that are proven not to work.

I watched them go alone with triple-masking (they even started ranting about "single-maskers" until they just forgot all that). Then they started Jabbing and posting selfies of how over the moon they were to get Jabbed. They were desperate for a Jab that caused them cold sweats, high fevers, vomiting and soreness (which they said was wonderful because "I know it's working since I feel like I have the flu").
I watched them in real life and social media strut around with a Jab that they claimed it was everyone's "civic duty" to take. They didn't even say if it would end Covid. None of them ever even questioned why take the Jab if it's not going to do anything? No, they just did it because that was their duty.
