I’m sorry to report we were not successful unmuzzling the kids during class. The County last week mandated all County buildings. We will not give up and support for parental choice is growing, but still very, very blue. 😭

She crated her own, named 'who doesn't want the kids masked,' and had over 100 followers within two hours. These tyrants have awaken the lions.
i would also bring up the risk of long term paychological harm to the students - do we even know what forced masking does to their psyche? to me this is a massive risk that needs to be factored into the balance. i acutally was able to make somw headway with a former teacher lefty in my neighborhood by bringing this up as a point of valid concern and enough of a potential unknown factor that it registered witb her

Colleges recognize that HS kids are better-prepared and more successful at higher learning. Public school was designed by Humanists, with the explicit stated purpose of replacing family and church with government and state - when looked at in this light, all the degradation in the US education system is NOT the result of incompetence, but a planned process. Removing God, re-writing history, fomenting hatred and division, forcing blind compliance and removing critical thinking are all part of the original designers' plans, as they openly wrote at the time. They wanted to prepare US workers with the 'inevitable' union with communism. Yeah, they've been at it a long time.
So definitely fight for all kids' freedom, but make plans because your kids will be targeted once you've spoken up.

A summary of my experience. Friends died young of drug overdoses, couldn't use the school bathrooms because people smoked pot everyday in them, had to avoid certain areas of the lunchroom due to gang influence, walked in on kids having sex in the auditorium, witnessed fights at least once a semester, had three bikes stolen, averaged two suicides a year, and this was all 20 years ago at a (top) area public school. Can only imagine what it's like now!
Please go armed with the facts. There are numerous studies that demonstrate the harm posed by masks, particularly to children. Bring hard copies with you and read from them, if necessary. BE PREPARED. It is easy to get emotional where kids are concerned, but you are most likely dealing with a 'muh science' group and you want to give them the science. If they ignore it and say they are going with Fraudci or the CDC, tell them you are going with the science of the numerous studies you have brought. I live in Scottsdale AZ. SUSD had a board meeting at a school near me. I went, only to find out they moved it online. They ended up voting in the positive for the mask mandate for students. Thankfully, a few days later, Ducey declared all schools that have a mask mandate forfeit their funding.
I'm in Scottsdale too but I thought they found a loophole that the order doesn't start until Sept 29 so they are moving forward with masks. I'm so torn because my son needs to be in school for certain reasons. He loves his teacher and is doing great, he's finally in a general ed class after some set bacyk and changing schools 5x in 4 years. I effing hate this and am beyond angry! If it were my daughter I'd just pull her and homeschool. I want to fight the system but don't want to mess up the good thing he has going. I'm looking for a protest and want to be heard!

But it doesn't exist.
Empirical evidence shows us masks are unnecessary. Sweden is doing great - no mandates, masks or shutdowns. Denmark just recently abolished all restrictions. The most restricted and vaccinated countries such as Iceland and Israel are falling apart with the highest COVID rates.
Some can see. Many states abolished the masks, vaccine and shutdowns, including Tennessee, Missouri, Texas, S Dakota, Florida and many others.
But there is something killing 2400 people a day. 271 of every 100,000. a death every 36 seconds. It's not covid. It was never called a pandemic. It's called heart disease. Did we ban soda? Did we force exercise? Mandatory step-tracking wrist bands and fines for laziness?

Illinois code states the school board only has authority over education and finance of the schools. The Dillon Rule specifically states you do not have the authority or right to mandate mask wearing. You still have a choice, so be the modern-day Albert Einstein and Ben Franklins and give kids the choice regarding the mask.
