A KEY legal issue that a lot of people have been missing (we should remind them) is this:
If a company does NOT require vaxx/mask, then they have ZERO legal liability to anyone who gets Covid, even if they die. Why? Because nobody can PROVE in a court of law WHERE they got the Covid from. They cannot PROVE it was contracted while working. It could have been at the grocery store or the niece's birthday party, or anywhere else.
Therefore, companies have ZERO legal reason TO require it, and becaue they can be sued out of existence if they do implement such a policy, they have GREAT legal reason to NOT require it.
Also, corporate executives and directors are used to the corporate legal shield protecting them PERSONALLY from lawsuits against the corporation. But that does NOT apply to intentional torts they commit while acting in their corporate capacity. If a CEO shoots and kills somebody in the office, the corporate limitation of liability does NOT apply. Same is true of ALL deprevation of rights (kidnapping, etc.).
So just like the corporation itself, the officers and directors ONLY have liability if they DO implement the policies, and have NO liability if they do not.
My company said this morning that this is a move that is unprecedented and they want to understand it better, basically they aren’t going to follow anything right now. I hope they stay this way.
My wife's company who is a govt contractor was about to mandate vaccinations for all when they heard Bidens speech.
My wife then had a meeting with the CEO and she reminded him that his late father who started the company was a Lt Col and she did not think he would want to take his employees civil rights away. Also she told him that he needed to stop worrying about someone suing the company because they got Covid and worry about employees suing him for mandating the vaccine.
2 hours after the meeting she was called and told they were going to slow down and not do anything just yet.
So proud of her.
My friend works for a big company that contracts with the militarry, and they have mandated everyone is vaxxed by a certain date (don't remember what date). They have been wearing masks this whole time since starting mask wearing, though she says she takes it off in her office and if people don't like don't come in her office. She does not want to get the vaxx and will either quit or let them fire her (I told her to make them fire her), but I know it's hard for her because she gets paid good money working there and don't think she will find another job like that around here. But I'm so glad she refuses to get the vaxx. She says the company acts like they don't care how many people they will loose to the mandate. I told her to get others who won't get the vaxx either and find a lawyer together.
I've been sending her everything I can find that might help her fight against the mandate. If anyone has anything she can use I'd appreciate it if you can share it.

Knowing this it is even more clear this was announced to distract from Afghanistan and more importantly 2020 election audits. It is an attempt to get people to take their eye off the ball and fight these mandates, not the election.
The DS is hoping we don’t realize this until the 2022 midterms which they will use to distract us all the way to letting 2020 slide. They believe if they can distract and string us out and we vote in the midterms, psychologically, we will be surrendering.

My state representative (Republican) said they're drafting a bill to add vaccines to their discrimination laws, which would effectively end mandating the vaccines in the workplace, schools and would kill passports.
Luckily, they have a veto proof majority, so it should pass.
I just got back from my bank & they had their mask required sign back up. All the workers & customers (except 3 of us) had them on. I was hoping the general public had learned a little something in the last few months but there’s still a lot of folks willing to muzzle themselves again.
TOTALLY hear you on aging with the stress of noncompliance. It's exhausting but has to be done. And the loving thy neighbor stuff, I have to get better too. Just lost my best friend today because I'm not vaxxed, and she's too scared to be around me anymore...like I'M the one who's unclean and tarnished. It's ridiculous but also very sad and disheartening. I fear we have quite a lot of more this to take before it's over. Good luck to you! I work for the one of the biggest companies in my industry (one of the Big 4 or big 5) and our corporate and managers do not have a back bone and allow the CEO to just go with the flow regarding everything Biden is doing
Ask them if they plan to go along with it, because you need to know if your going to need to update your resumé. Don't be aggressive, just ask nicely. The battle lines have been drawn. I perform as a worker, and I can boost sales by 40% for the competitor just as easily as I did for them. If I get fired over this, I'd thank them for the job I had, and when they call and ask me to come back, I'll ask for double pay and my bosses job.

My company today issued the mandate but only for certain employees. I am not affected... yet.
If it does come I will make sure to point out their liability should something happen to me. I am considering speaking to a lawyer to find out just what my options are.
My employer is rushing ahead with the mandate. They want to set a good example of "trusting the science" in the community. I sent the form to Americas Frontline Doctors site for their legal/lawyer help. I am hoping to get some tips on how to wade through this to ensure they are forced to fire me, and also to ensure I can sue their pants off afterwards.
This former Obama guy on NPR earlier gave a totally conflicting statement and said the OSHA regulation will only require companies to make conditions safe via testing, distancing, masking or just whatever. Nothing these people say or do carries a shred of weight to anyone right now. It’s amazing

Each day ( Friday and today ,) I come in and ask about it ..and everyone looks around ,then looks at each other and. I get " oh we have till oct oh we have till November. Oh wait do we ??
