Back in the ancient times water was often unsafe to drink. This is why it was quite common for people to drink alcohol like wine and beer. As I mentioned earlier alcohol itself is not an issue, but using it to become intoxicated is a sin.
As far as being "shit faced drunk" goes, 1 Peter 5:8 says "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." There are other verses that prohibit consumption of "too much wine" so I think the Bible mainly refers to intoxication, not just responsible drinking.
As far as mushrooms go, aside from it preventing you from being sober of mind, it plays into the cabal's hand. These evil bastards WANT us doped up, staring at a screen, too numb to do or say anything. I also question how these hallucinations could provide a path for demons to enter your life. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like I never get drunk but getting high off your ass on mushrooms does not glorify or get you closer to God, if anything it is an insult to Him.

Basically, it is to ensure it is not someone having a bad day. From what I read awhile back. A fair number of people don't make the second call and for those that do and get the Rx, a fair number don't take it. I think it is a hell of a lot harder to pull the trigger than people think.

How does anyone know if the claim 'there is no panic or choking sensation' if to try the machine does kill a person?
Basically, for the purposes of "I can't breathe", your body doesn't sense O2, but rather CO2, so if you replace the CO2 with say, nitrogen gas, your body doesn't realize that you aren't actually getting oxygen and can thusly die without that choking feeling.

I believe the feeling of suffocation comes from CO2 in your body and not a lack of oxygen. apparently you can accidentally drown after hyperventilating before diving underwater because you won't have enough CO2 in your body to warn you that you're running out of oxygen. assuming this is true it would be safe to assume that if you're constantly breathing in fresh nitrogen then it would suffocate you without you actually feeling like you're suffocating.

My probably unpopular opinion is that there absolutely should be an easy way for an adult to kill themselves if they want to. We can argue about what sort of perameters and tests need to be done beforehand, I guess, but I think this should be a human right.
