Anyone who has seen the VAERS database, and FILLED IT OUT knows that it is very tedious, and very detailed. It is not at all easy to fill out. It takes a full day to fill out 3-5 people's information.
That explains why there is under reporting. The length of time to fill out alone is a deterrent.
You have to know EVERYTHING. Most which is only obtained by medical records. This idea its easy is showing that the person stating it has never viewed VAERS or any idea of what they are talking about.

Pretty sure data in there is reviewed and duplicates etc. are scrubbed. There is some oversight of that system - in fact they were caught scrubbing legit reports early on! So there are LESS reports in there by acts of scrubbing data and due to the tedious nature of reporting it’s just the tip of the iceberg of reports.

I actually thought this was true myself until somebody on here pointed out you actually can't just post on there as a random internet stranger. The issue is they're voluntary so the data is provided by legit doctors, but most doctors don't even know it exists and will avoid any and all things that are not mandatory and cause extra work for staff. I will say there are some really suss shit posted on there

The only way the data set is faulty is that we are not sure how much is not reported on it. Some guess at 1% and some conservative guessers say it is maybe 20% of all the data.
However, the entries take over 45 minutes to clear, and often the site will crash and one has to start again. So those that do make it onto the system are from determined people: Usually doctors.
The amount of CP they allow on that site and the sheer amount of girls offering up their nude photos for all to see, including the millions of underage kids on that site and the amount they try to normalize pedophilia and stand up for pedos is sickening.

I have literally not once seen CP on Reddit. Granted, I don't go outright searching for it, either.
A brief history: There were a lot of "jailbait" subs and subs creeping on young models (that shouldn't be modeling but I digress).
Eventually, while Pizzagate was hitting its stride, a lot of us kept bringing exposure to it.
It eventually caused them to shut down a lot of subs -- including subs completely unrelated. They were forced to make a statement if I recall, but coincidentally people kept finding more and more and infiltrating private ones as well.
The reason Reddit has been so "clean" is because of the work put in by us all to kick them off. By exposure, it forced them to take action. Now it is hard to find actually explicit stuff, but as there is no verification system to actually post nudes there are most certainly people who probably shouldn't be posting them.
I'm not going to shame anyone for going there because obviously you aren't going there for that reason, but it's something to be vigilant for. It's pretty gross.
But then, 4chan was also known for this very issue. Go figure. For some reason it is extremely popular, and that is concerning.

This is what we should do. We should encourage any lefty who says MAGA types are faking VAERs, to do a counter fake by adding fake entries for something benign and bump its numbers so high that it becomes obvious it was faked.

Decided to see how hard it was to report. It's seems fairly easy and quick. I doubt there is many fake reports due to it's ease unless they disregard the warning "Warning: Knowingly filing a false VAERS report with the intent to mislead the Department of Health and Human Services is a violation of Federal law (18 U.S. Code § 1001) punishable by fine and imprisonment."

According to doctors, it’s rare to submit to VAERS because it’s a cumbersome pain in the ass that takes about an hour for each submission.
Also, by law the big pharma companies are required to ensure the VAERS data is accurate. If is found not to be then they are not allowed to continue to distribute the drugs that are reported on it.
