The only reason that dems are more corrupt than republicans is that for the last 120 years they have been the party in power and have controlled the bureaucracy. if the republican party had been in control a lot of the dems would have been republicans. ideology with politicians is a tool to get power. for most of us regular folks' ideology is the crutch we use to make the right decisions.
