Good call, I think I’d rather dilute and take a sponge bath. This for sure works for ear infections. At 4 my son had constant ear infections and became resistant to the strongest stuff they’d give a child. My grandmother suggested peroxide and sweet oil.. needless to say he has never needed an antibiotic for his ears @ 26!!
It opens your airways and kills viruses in your lungs. It’s easy too. 3-4 minutes 3-4 times a day. Buy a decent electric nebulizer (not battery powered) for best results. I just purchased a good one for $85 on Amazon.
What is sweet oil? What are the measurements to use for ear infection? How much of each and how many drops? My nieces and nephews get ear infections often and I am worried if shtf and supplies are scarce and hospitals in chaos what can be done. This is great. When I found out my cat had severe asthma I started using baking soda, peroxide and vinegar to clean. I wouldn't even spray hairspray around that poor thing. I use to go on rhe porch at times.
Ear aches are the worst!!! I hope this info might help.
I’m not sure about sweet oil, I think it’s an old remedy.
You can get olive oil drops for ears. I don’t know of a good brand. Don’t use household cooking olive oil.
Years ago my doctor told me to make preventative ear drops. 1 part each: water, alcohol & peroxide. I used that for a while.
However since I have been learning about making natural medicine, homemade soaps & cleaners I’ve learned using water isn’t the safest. For example: Natural homemade cleaner with water and essential oils. Natural shampoo, face or body wash, hand wash using water, Castile soap & water. Those are only safe for 3-7 days. Using water causes bacteria.
Yet you can make natural cleaner with Vodka or Ever Clear (not sold in many states) & essential oils
Making homemade body products safe requires alcohol or glycerin.
I’m saying all this info most probably won’t need because:
**** Natural products are great when used correctly or the correct recipes. My doctor didn’t know water can bread bacteria 🦠 🚩
Any info like this available online. Sadly there’s a lot of unsafe information!
If kids or adults commonly get ear infections it can be prevented. I got severe ear aches over twenty years ago (my 30s) every spring. I never had a cold but bad allergies.
I rarely get sick because I drink herbal tea, herbal tinctures and immunity supplements.
I suggest the most basic remedy, especially for kids, Elderberry Syrup or at least a supplement.
You can buy it premade or buy kits to make it yourself. I’d suggest Etsy for the kits. Or order the ingredients & make it. There’s different variations of recipes.
I recommend ingredients: Elderberry, cinnamon, clove & ginger. You don’t want what the syrup with alcohol, it’s gross!
Norm’s is a good brand. I’ve been taking it several months.
I won’t list supplements, most people on here already know what to take. If you have questions I’ll be happy to help.
I’m not a doctor, healer or trained herbalist, etc. I have experience because I read about natural medicine, follow the experts on instagram & YouTube.
I’ve tried dandelion a long time ago & didn’t like it. I probably didn’t have a good quality brand. I’d love to try pine needle tea. I’ve been considering ordering some. I have a lot of long leaf pine around here, I think it’s safe to drink. I believe white pine is one of the preferred around the herbal community (experts). I hear it taste great and has a lot of medical qualities.
A lot of different teas & blends. I’ve been drinking herbal tea probably over ten years. It’s taken me a while to figure out the good, clean, non toxic companies. I hope to start growing herbs soon. I only drink water & tea daily. Occasionally I’ll drink OJ & organic milk. I try to switch up so I don’t get tired of the same thing.
I ordered the refill bag, seemed like a better price. I’m really impressed with the quality of this tea. I’m not an expert! A couple teas I had had from Buddha Tea in bags & I found out using the loose leaf from this company was much stronger. Figured that out the hard way using too much tea. The only other brand of loose tea I’ve tried was at my local herbal medicine store. I think the brand was Frontier, it was ok, but I’ve had better. I just checked their site & I don’t see the bag bulk options. I ordered on Black Friday. I saw them on Instagram & the sale prices were very good.
I love their:
Awake tea blend. It’s a mix of berry & lemon flavor.
& Herbiscus Tea blend has a great smooth flavor.
Numi Gunpowder Tea is at the top of my list.
Also with Numi, several other green tea blends.
I love most anything with lemon & ginger.
Sometimes I drink hot water with lemon & ginger.
Numi has a great Hibiscus blend. I’ve been drinking Numi brand since 2014. It’s been the only brand I consistently buy.
Hibiscus, Hawthorn, Raspberry leaf & Rose Hips are one of my favorite healing & comfort teas. I drink these alone or blended together. I like the flavor it’s like a kool aid flavor with out the bad stuff.
Tazo has a great tasting hibiscus but I don’t buy that anymore. It’s not the best quality.
This fall I ordered most of Numi’s immunity wellness teas. It’s given me a chance to try teas like licorice & marshmallow, they are ones I wanted to add to my routine.
This year I started ordering Chaga tea from a lady on Etsy. She’s in Alaska & forage’s it herself. I always double check shops like that to make sure they are legit. Look for social media or other legit info. Chaga provides natural immunity. I also order Lions Mane & Chaga tincture from her.
I have recently fallen in love with chai. This is the brand I drink. I like this brand. You can use tea bags twice. I’ll make a cup & after seeping I make another cup for the next day.
When my son was a toddler he had ear infection after ear infection, like literally as soon as he finished his antibiotics then cleared next day by doctor of his infections (I’m talking both ears), no joke within 2 days I would call the docs office back and say he has ear infections again. The nurse would say “that’s not possible.” We would argue a few minutes until she made an appointment that day, I’d bring him in and sure enough he had infection again. Finally one nurse told me to change his milk. I was surprised, but figured what the heck, it wouldn’t hurt to try, it’s not like he liked milk anyway. As an infant he couldn’t tolerate regular formula, so he drank soy formula. Once he turned 1 and tried to start switching him to whole milk, nope not happening. So the only time he actually drank any amount of milk was in his plain Cheerios, and he would not drink the milk, whatever milk went in was what was on the spoon with the cereal. So changed the whole milk with 2% and he has never had another ear infection since. He’s now 30 yrs old.
I know a toothless old man who swears he burned all the enamel off his teeth with this stuff on the advice of a dentist. I;m sure he didn't dilute but be careful!
Prevent tartar build-up and cavities and swish h2o2 in your mouth for 30 to 60 seconds and then brush your teeth. I haven't had a cavity in 20 years. My dentist can't figure out why my teeth has so little tartar build-up. I never tell him and just smile.
In terms of 3% H2O2, the answer is "No". Take a cap full and just swish it around in your mouth for 30 to 60 seconds. Try to work it between your teeth and then with the H2O2 still in your mouth brush your teeth. If it the H2O2 is really frothy (foamy) when you spit it out, this is evidence of a lot of bacteria.
I'll first floss my teeth, then I'll use H2O2 to swish in my mouth before brushing. If your gums bled from flossing, the H2O2 will kill any bacteria that may be there. Bleeding gums is a pathway for bacteria. You'll also notice that blood will make the H2O2 froth up too. In this case, you might want to repeat with another cap full of H2O2 until it is not frothy.
Ditch the fluoride toothpaste. You can order Calcium carbonate toothpaste here. I use it after H2O2 mouth wash. Just give them a call for help and advice.
I'm about 2 minutes into reading this, and this is the biggest joke of science I've ever read. Here's a quote from the PDF:
What if you could very easily add that oxygen to water and consume
it directly? Well, Mother Nature beat you to it. Did you
know that hydrogen peroxide is simply oxygenated
water?
The notion that you can tack on an extra oxygen atom to water and call it oxygenated water is at best disingenuous and at worse just atrociously bad levels of an understanding of fundamental chemistry. It's an entirely separate compound from water, and is toxic to most of our cells. You can't just straight up drink significant quantities of it like you can with water. Oxygenated water is absolutely a thing, and it's called water with actual air in it - not a completely different chemical compound.
All of this, right after the author instructs the reader through two pointless, "experiments" related to breathing - failing to mention whatsoever the importance that carbon dioxide plays into the related actions of breathing. For example, it's entirely possible to have oxygen in your body, but it can be unusable without sufficient carbon dioxide present and accessible as well.
He continues:
Low grade pharmacy/grocery store hydrogen peroxide is well-known to most people. When we apply it externally to an open wound, hydrogen peroxide produces a bubbling sensation, which is just the extra oxygen being released.
That's a joke. This entire thing reads straight like a scam, and the web design plus the fact that they sell hydrogen peroxide would encourage that. Applying hydrogen peroxide to open wounds tremendously slows the healing process, as it kills, slows, and destroys your bodies' attempt to seal and heal the wound. An oxidizer mixing with blood would obviously result in this outcome to anyone who knows the first thing about chemistry...
I don't claim to be a chemist, and I don't claim to say that hydrogen peroxide is or isn't useful in any number of applications - I'm just saying that as a source this is pathetic.
You don’t want to apply it to wounds but to cuts is okay, as long as it’s just right away. Your body uses hydrogen peroxide to kill pathogens, cancer cells, but this causes the free radical damage we need NAC for. Or NAC helps create more glutathione we need to wipe up that extra oxygen. Our cells create hydrogen peroxide, a lot of it and yes it’s going to be toxic to our own cells. Mostly I use hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash but diluted. It will kill any pathogen. We make our own hydrogen peroxide so when we drink it it just kills stuff in the gut. But, this can kill off unhealthy microbiota but will kill anything in the gut including healthy biota. However it could possibly help reset a healthy microbiome if done sparingly.
Yeah but the link I replied to is about food grade hydrogen peroxide and it does have medicinal benefits according to some folks when you drink a small very diluted amount
Yes this is really good info. Also the one minute cure. I am following the protocol for about 30 days now at 25drops x 3 times a day. Food grade hydrogen peroxide, not the store bought. Noticed clearing of the sinuses and other minor ailments. Also foot baths for the athletes foot is really clearing it up after having this most of my life. If you follow the protocol, there should be no problem. It’s your health, respect yourself. https://archive.org/details/TheOneMinuteCure_201806/page/n53/mode/2up
I have been nebulizing 1/2 teaspoon 3% mixed with 1.5oz of saline over the last week. I do two 5 min sessions a day. Most recommend do a 50/50 mix but I was hesitant as there are tons of horror stories that show up from a web search. I was dealing with breathing issues after recovering from the flu or virus that is going around. The issue was only when I increased physical activity and I had shortness of breath and was weezy, possibly a minor case of pneumonia. This is what really sped up my recovery and now almost fully recovered.
Yeah, I have asthma and I’m afraid to do this due to the case reports on interstitial lung disease/ground glass opacities from chronic and acute inhalation.
You know, it's starting to make sense when you remember how the media was having a ball when Trump suggested it be used to treat cov. He meant it as a nebulizer to anybody listening but of course they had to misrepresent.
I've heard that, too. Either way, it was a comment that was shrugged off, strangely enough. As for the ultraviolet light comment, I've read there were actual suggestions by the medical community regarding treating cov with it.
Witch Hazel is good for cuts and scrapes. Its two-fold attack kills bacteria on the inside and outside of the injury and it doesn't sting like rubbing alcohol.

Nice! Garlic Oil drops are good for young kids ear infections too.
You use peroxide in a nebulizer?
Forgive my ignorance, this is the first I’ve heard of this.
How do you dilute or do it? And what is the purpose you use it for?
I put a drop of Lugol's in my coffee. It's amazing.
Dilute food-grade HP with saline. And add a drop of iodine to help. There is a protocol online for it. Too tired to look it up
Thanks I’ll look it up, but what’s the intended purpose?
It opens your airways and kills viruses in your lungs. It’s easy too. 3-4 minutes 3-4 times a day. Buy a decent electric nebulizer (not battery powered) for best results. I just purchased a good one for $85 on Amazon.

God bless you for such a detailed reply.
I greatly appreciate you fren
You don't drink the stuff in the brown bottle.
There's a food grade kind also.
Yes! ONLY INGEST FOOD GRADE!!

They use a species of white pine.
For dandelion I got the brand Traditional Medicinals just from Amazon.

I buy 3 % food grade hydrogen peroxide and add it to water. Just a few drops.
A friend of mine got an infection while in the hospital. I had some shipped to him so he could add it to his drinking water. He got better super fast!
Also I put a few drops in my cat's water bowl.
I add it to milk to keep bacteria from growing.
I soak fruit in it to kill any germs.
I don't use it every single day but it is a staple.
Wow. So I wonder if that would work for a bladder infection? So how long did your friend drink that for?
What a great freaking idea why didn’t I think of that...
She say to wash your body ... not to drink it
I know a toothless old man who swears he burned all the enamel off his teeth with this stuff on the advice of a dentist. I;m sure he didn't dilute but be careful!
Coulda been the meth too? 🤷♂️

Do you have to dilute it first?
No not the stuff you get from the drug store. It even says on the bottle it can be used as an oral rinse
Cool, thank you for the info!

I think we have found the last Geocities site in existence...
Lol quick archive it
I got curious and tried. Somebody already did 8 yrs ago.
Holy shit now there's a flashback. Geocities had nothing on Angelfire though! Man those were the days
