Russia - no central bank, trending out fiat, a leader that likes his country, jail fake news, and no fucking tik tock.......when will we in the west be so lucky!
American patriot here. Moved my family from America to Russia just before C19 (noticed that the vaccine regime rhetoric seemed to be getting dangerous) and haven't regretted it a single day.
I am in a smaller urban setting in the Moscow oblast (province). Crime is way, way lower than I'm used to in America. My impression is that it's mostly theft.
Everybody I've talked to who knows both cultures has agreed with this summary: Americans are softer on the outside and harder on the inside, Russians are harder on the outside and softer on the inside.
The "standard of living" is certainly lower here, but the minimum amount you need to live is way, way lower. There's government support, but also less social expectations, more cultural freedom to improvise, and better quality for the cheapest food and goods. People have each others' backs in some important ways (see also the crime question).
That was very informative, much appreciated! My view on Americans also varies greatly because in the northeast where I'm from, there are very loud and expressive people. Not talking about first Gen immigrants who are not of the culture, or the university transplants that bring their cultures with them, but the native New Yorkers and New Jersey folk. Those people are very much rough on the outside but soft on the inside towards the family (think new York Italians from long island).
I have thought about this as well. I'm gay, but except for this comment, you wouldn't know it. My husband and I keep to ourselves, despise "LGBT" community folk, and don't really talk about stuff like that anyways. I've read in the past that someone like me could be arrested in Russia, but I have a feeling that is just overblown western propaganda. Could you give me your thoughts on the social climate in Russia?
I'm traditional-minded, a Russian Orthodox Christian, for context.
But my impression is that people who mind their own business are left alone, and a lot of the arrests and persecution you see are Soros and CIA people, or people who have listened to them, stirring things up. That's not how Russians handle things in their culture, so for the Russian authorities basically everybody yelling at a protest is a glowie and it's best to get them out of everybody's hair immediately.
Doesn't sound like that's you. But if you were to visit Russia I'd suggest staying in Moscow.
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I appreaciate your perspective. I never thought I'd be worried that America might not be a good home for me anymore.
How are you posting on this site if you are in Russia?
Where in Russia are you located? General region no street address.
Was it hard to do? Costs?
I have looked at the land offerings in the east and I would love to do that. But I am a bit older and have kids. Not sure what my question is but you are over there. Do you know about it and is it as good as it seems?
Russia is far, far freer than the United States. There are a few sites that are blocked, and they're open about that fact, which makes it look like they're this big bad censorship regime, but if you want the part of the Internet the deep state isn't directly operating, you can get it as long as they'll serve it to you. GAW will serve it to me, there's nothing here that Russia feels it needs to guard against, so it's open.
I'm in the Moscow oblast (province) in a smaller urban area, not Moscow. We have several children, so yes it was hard to move, but we all are so glad we did.
Costs are much lower, and outside the cities they are much much much lower.
I would definitely recommend starting in a place with some amenities to adjust before diving into a super-rural landowner situation.
I'm posting things on Telegram, sounds like you might be interested in getting news from a perspective like mine... https://t.me/anoshanews
Absolutely, I just joined the channel. Thanks for that.
Do you speak Russian or can you get by using english? Do they hate Americans?
I just want to be free and for my kids to be free and I am losing hope for America. I am willing to stay here and fight but it appears more and more the younger generation don't want freedom and would rather let the DS just control their lives.
Learning Russian slowly. It is necessary outside Moscow. My children do a quite good job at helping out with the language. They definitely don't hate Americans, but now that the conflict has gotten more pronounced I make sure to show support for Russia so I don't wreck people's day.
It's a fight for the younger generation here too. A lot of mourning of the loss of McDonald's, argggh…
Full respect for staying. I have several children and it was already so nuts that I needed to take some action so they could have a childhood. It worked, thank God.
I don't know about golf courses.
Yes, you can hunt for food.
Income and property taxes are both saner here, particularly property taxes are way better. People are shocked when we tell them about the property tax situation in America. Property is also much less leveraged. Less debt.
Yes, there are ways to get land. At least in the past there were even grants to try to attract foreigners to the less-populated areas. I'm not sure what's happening with all that, haven't heard about it since covid, but I haven't been looking at that topic.
Exactly. What this post misses is that the US has hundreds of bio-labs around the world. Shutting them down in one country is not going to prevent anything.
What I do know is obviously there was a threat to Russian borders and the Russian peoples residing in Ukraine. I stand with them on their defense of their borders.
More likely that this has all been orchestrated in order to drive the US into third world poverty.
Iglf gas prices are going up so will the cost of shipping anything, so everything on the shelf, especially things made from petroleum like plastics is going to go up more then gas. Food, and everything is about to triple in price j.thynwantnstuff like this time happen to destroy thenUS and to get rid of internal combustion.
Greetings from an American patriot living in Russia, comfily surfing GAW on a Russian IP with no VPN right now amidst this conflict. Hint: their target really is the deep state.
Lets touch base again, a few weeks from now, when this is all over.
The Ukraine's political affiliations will be left in tact, their nazi-glorfied militias will be even more glorified, and whatever biological warfare Putin may have discovered will go into the Soviet's... oh... I'm sorry... Russia's own biological divisions.
These are fearless predictions.
I don't trust the Ukraine, I trust Russia and Putin even less. Putin is KBG and someone who made themself a billionaire in the 90s in Russia. He is the king of corruption.
Russia's military is humiliating itself. Struggling to defeat a nation armed with America's "hand me downs". Truly pathetic. The Russian bear is a cub.
To those that attack this point of view as me being a puppet to MSM propaganda... eat a dick. The propaganda says I SHOULD be afraid of Russia's army. This is not an army to fear. This is a fucking pathetic, conscript, communist, broke ass, pathetic army that couldn't find corruption if it was lodged in their own faulty weaponry... which it is.
Russia - no central bank, trending out fiat, a leader that likes his country, jail fake news, and no fucking tik tock.......when will we in the west be so lucky!

Interesting. Any more info you care to provide ? Not a very common response.

If you have questions, ask away.
Thanks for the opportunity to learn more. How do you earn your living?
I'm a software developer, currently my main client is an American business.
What situation are you in? If urban, do you find high crime rates? Are people warm and friendly or more "cold" socially?
I know wages are lower, but do most people struggle more than in the US financially, is it similar, or less?

How are the golf courses? Would I be allowed to hunt for food? Income taxes? Property taxes? Can you buy tracts of land in the wilderness?
Sounds good but I am an American and my fight takes place here. I am not running.
Full respect for staying. I have several children and it was already so nuts that I needed to take some action so they could have a childhood. It worked, thank God.

No GMO
What we're seeing is an organized resistance to globalism reset and takeover by the evil ones.
I have a suspicion that China is going through much the same "quiet" war against their own DS as we are here too.
I agree that Xi has his own deep state problems.

Up vote for "Yerp."

Unless we've hit ALL the US bioweapon labs in ALL the countries Goverzilla has done this in...
Don't let your guard down.
Need to incarcerate Bill Gates YESTERDAY. Do we have extradition treaty with India?
We might need an extradition treaty with Antartica.

Poor sad and defeated Bill Gates....his "next one" never came.
They’ll still hype a new variant before midterms. But hopefully no smallpox release.
Would be nice but I saw somewhere we have 233 or so of those things all over the world.. this isn't over:/
Assuming they were releasing from Ukraine. There's over 300 Lanbs worldwide according to some.
Hell the last one was from our Wuhan affiliate.
I think he did too. The biolabs thing is now a thing.
Sad and defeated Bill Gates. Probably more sad and angry than the day he took the pie to the face.
I think back to that and I wonder if the person who threw the pie regrets it was only a pie?
Baah, there are millions of Lambs here in Greece!
Dont get too carried away with the updoot harvesting posts… this ain’t PW. I’ll let this one slide though 🤣🤣
This all started with Russia and the khazarians. I think this is where it needs to end.
Shoot, the next?! He pretty much stopped this one!
They are losing control os silver & gold too.
Cringe karma farming post.

If we produce plastics and other products from hemp instead of oil we might not need to get rid of gasoline. It would be WAY cheaper too!
But don't tell the Rockefellers that I said this...
I don't have words for my revulsion of the bootlicking of a pure KGB Commie that I see here.
In Putin's Russia, people who frequent sites like this one are imprisoned... or just... fucking murdered.
