I Absolutely do worry! Poland used to be (until recently) super based. Now, with all this shit going on, Poland is like a puppet extension of the US. US says jump, Poland asks how high.
It’s very unfortunate. I hope Hungary sticks to its values and doesn’t cave in like Poland used to. They seem like the only based country left standing in Europe

yea most of us, non city dwellers, still hold those based values. Although, doomers in Poland today tend to follow trends rather than set trends… so obviously, anything media or entertainment says or does is “cool”
I’m 25% Polish 😃. My great-grandfather changed his last name when he came to the US to get rid of his Polish name. From what I was told (and trying to remember properly), your last name represented either what area you were from or your social status? Ever hear anything like that? Always wondered if that was true and why my great grandfather really got rid of our true last name.
Is Poland near Lithuania? I married a Lithuanian, born in America, but the last name is Yakaitis! It’s not a very common name. Very few of us here in the states. My husband died when he was 30 though. God rest his soul!

50 years old and sleepy all the time. Hate getting old. How to be efficient and productive at this age?
Try stretching for five or ten minutes each morning... It is better than coffee to get the blood flowing and it helps prevent silly injuries... A friend swore by a set of push ups a few times a day when he was feeling slow... It is amazing how a litte bit everyday can transform you...
Oofff I know what you mean. Id say the obvious of diet and working out, but if that’s not something you’re used to, it would be difficult to maintain consistently.
A temporary solution, Try a new activity. Maybe something you’ve never done before but always wanted to.
Another suggestion is, change up your daily habits/routines. Omit dopamine activities. Trying Focusing on the now
Get ur testosterone checked. Free, and bio available. Also get ur estradiol checked. These are symptoms of low Testosterone. Which effects mens ability to "get up and go" .Diet plays a huge part in this. Look into it. It's a simple blood test :D
55 and after sick in Feb of 20 started Balance of Nature. Good natural stuff and the older we get we wish we would have taken better care of ourselves.
I just started taking Root today….it’s supposed to detox all toxins. I’m also reading Dr Brownstein’s iodine book. Daily consumption of iodine is supposed to replenish energy and deter cancer. “They” keep putting poisons in our food — even organic food — which is why so many are so much heavier than even 10 years ago. Do check out the iodine protocol when you get a chance.

I can relate my fren. It's been 7+ years for me and I can tell you it gets better once you get over the hurt, emotional and financial.
At our age we're looking at used up women. On prescription drugs for aging bodies and minds is the biggest turn off for me. Seems like they are ALL on some sort of drug, most on multiples.
Gone are the days we could attract a cutie (or at least speaking for myself; I'm 10 years older). Even if that were possible, the young ones these days may be shiny, but they have grenades for brains, and you don't know what you might say or do that pulls the pin.
Life is lonely, but quiet and peaceful. If you can reach this place be thankful you made it. Concentrate on making yourself the best man you can be for these times.
Don't agonize and don't wear your heart on your sleeve. Be a man, and endeavor to persevere.
Well said, fren. Actually, I'm entering yr 4 of this "startin' over" venture and we'll over the pain part (I'm the one who ended the marriage, technically). I've been on enough dates to know I deserve better than the baggage offered, thus far at least? I'm anxiously awaiting this plan, The Plan, to unfold, as I see a much better world awaiting on the other side, and put my trust in God to fulfill the rest?

Well kind of off-topic, but I had my foot rebuilt about 3 1/2 four weeks ago. I have another 3 1/2 weeks of nonweightbearing. Basically been laying in my bed with my leg and foot elevated the entire time. I’m about to lose my mind. You can only watch so many British murder mysteries. LOL I don’t watch a lot of new shows because they’re so awoke, and full of sex, which nowadays is soft porn. Not interested. Anyway… I’ve been spending a lot of time on this forum because there’s not much else I can do besides coloring pictures, and eating meals with my mother God bless her soul who’s been taking care of me. well there it is folks!

Yeah I use the walker to go to the restroom, and to go out to the living room and watch TV and eat my meals so my mom‘s not by herself. But I’m telling you this is really getting to me mentally. I get up in the morning, and open the back door so I can hear all the birds, we have a lot in our backyard. So that cheers me up. But I’m telling ya. Whew! Hhaalllpppp! Lol!

The struggle is REAL. I've been in a similar situation with my foot for months and I also don't watch TV, and I have to chase a three year old around which absolutely exacerbated and lengthened the healing time.
Just got it all sorted out last Tuesday and I'm back on my feet and in action. Holy smokes am I grateful! I've spent all day, every single day since driving around, enjoying nature and visiting friends. Mentally, I already feel 100% better.
Hang in there and glad you got it off your chest. Going from able bodied to home bound and immobile is... Something not a lot of people will be able to truly appreciate the severity. o7
Edit: I only gained like 10 lbs during the downtime. I consider that a victory. Already can feel my ENTIRE body getting back to full strength. Feels great.
Wow that’s crazy with a three-year-old. Well I’m glad you’re back in action. And yes I do miss driving my vehicle. I have a dodge charger and I just love driving my car. I just do. It’s my right foot as well, so there’s no compromise on that. Yes I want my freedom back. I think I’ll go for a long drive, drive through fast food which I normally don’t eat, stop at the dollar store, and just go for a long drive. God bless you I’m glad you’re back on track. I’ve had my eye on a Porsche 996 or 997 for a many years now… I think I will take this subconscious thought of owning one someday and make it a conscious thought of owning one and actively working on obtaining one within a year.

It really works to visualize and plan for an item or an experience. The more detailed and filled with emotion,the better. For example, my daughter needs a new bath. I was thinking -even though I’ve never done it, she and I could draw a to scale floor plan, like in those fixer-upper TV shows. Was thinking it would help bring it into reality!
Yes, I’m aware of the faulty bearing, which is why I’d get the 4S since that version doesn’t have that issue. Although, I think the 997 will be the better option. But, I wouldn’t shy away from the 996, id just replace the bearing of anything before it happens.

Man, that’s a lofty goal! I’m saving up (retired on a fixed income) for a .22 bolt action rifle. The CZs look good. If I hit PowerBall, a Winchester 52 would be on the agenda!
What I mean is, if you set your bar high, youre likely to achieve something in the middle area versus if you set your bar too low, you’ll probably achieve that low bar (or not) but you’ve also capped you’re potential with setting a low bar
Random thoughts of the day.
So, I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2 lately. Basically GTA with cowboys. A lot of shooting and stealing and rustling and animal hunting.
Graphics are fairly advanced.
Every now and then I feel guilt for killing fictional beings, due to the realism of it.
I have to wonder what these types of games do to our souls?
I have both games myself (Xbox). That’s a good question and never really thought of it that way. Then again, I don’t really play video games much anymore. I always preferred racing games over shooters anyway

I always preferred the Forza Horizon games. Just drive around fast and fuck around lol. Wasn’t a huge fan of the forza track games as you’re only limited to driving a track… booooaring
Nice. I used to enjoy Need For Speed Underground back in the day. Enjoyed a lot of the older arcade/console racers from the 16 bit days too.
I'm 33, so when I was a kid my games were like..cartoons. up until Goldeneye for the most part - your enemies weren't even human, and neither were you. It was all fantasy and fun. Gta3 was the one that really opened the door. (Which came from same people as Red) thar wasn't the same kinda "gaming" I grew up on.
But kids of the last couple gen? They get pumped with a new call of duty quicker than a covid booster. I don't play anything newer than 360 but even by that time... most games main objective is ...kill. and they try to make it look realistic as possible with graphics now (don't get me started on VR)

I don't play video games much at all due to time. When I do I play Risk of Rain 2 which is a FPS where you kill stuff, loot, kill a boss, then go to the next level, all as fast as you can. After you clear the boss and hit the teleporter to open the next stage there's a brief idle time where you can kill any stragglers and possibly take the money from the kill with you to the next stage. I always just chill with the enemies and make them come up to try to attack me, move out of the way and let them live.
You can play the game without being cruel. 😁
Edit: I've wanted to get RDR2 a lot. It looks like a blast. I just know I won't have the time for it, so I abstain. A little jealous of you. 😂

I am a stockpiler. All dry goods being moved to mason jars so mice don't plump up.. Trying to get my son and DIL to eat all non-meat products in our freezers while pork is $1.99 and London broil and bottom round are $2.99. As sacrilegious as it is, Polish Bald Eagle, that means frozen pierogi, kimchi and pork dumplings.
Late on getting my garden started. My husband of 35 yesrs passed in January of "covid" and gardening without him puttering around is hard. But I'll get on with it.
