Say you're guilty as fuck without saying you're guilty as fuck.

Like it isn't a common, regular occurrence for professionals in most fields to publicly announce that they've never engaged in sexual abuse rituals and cannibalism?

Yeah, no complaint of Libel or defamation which would enrich the fuck out of him. Plus an indictme t I cludes a court, possibly a grand jury. Just a flat denial that I steal kids and eat human flesh.

He thinks the truth is so far fetched no one will believe it. Someone tell him the great awakening happened already. He is fucked.

I hear so much more in this conversation than just about that. I admit this call starts out pretty bad but eventually the investigator seems to believe him after some type of connection is made. Interesting that the investigator also admits hanging around at the same places and time frames involved. One has to wonder what came of this call and what if anything has been done. More interesting that Alec Baldwin was mentioned and now we see what is going on with him. Was it a setup to get him to remain quiet or force his tongue? Inquiring minds would like to know

"Marina! What place do you see the occult having within contemporary art; can magick be made (not simply appropriated/ performed)? Thanks, K"

"Everything depends on which context you are doing what you are doing. If you are doing the occult magic in the context of art or in a gallery, then it is the art. If you are doing it in different context, in spiritual circles or private house or on TV shows, it is not art. The intention, the context for what is made, and where it is made defines what art is or not."

I grew up in a big baptist church, with a sex abuse problem. I later joined the Mormon church and met lots of idiots who said it couldn't happen with them. I could see some of the patterns, there seemed to be a few super religious kinda creepy guys around. Pedos like to be overly good in other ways to make up for there disgusting habits. so I'm considered weirdly protective of my kids but that's ok with me.

I grew up in the church.

The church was, by far, the most strict institution I have ever participated in when it comes to abuse.

When the church separated from the Boy Scouts, they introduced their own training materials for child protection. It is more strict than the BSA. Two deep at all times. No rides with only one adult. Adults must be same sex or a married couple. Report even the slightest suspicion to authorities and the bishop. Learn how to identify grooming and abuse. Etc...

Every time I have encountered an individual such as yourself who claims the church is rampant with abuse and such, and I question you why you did not report it to the authorities, or the bishop, I am met with silence.

Go ahead, name names. If they abused kids, they have no right to privacy. The public needs to know who they are and what you saw, and you need to testify in court so they can never harm another person.

I grew up Baptist, and had similar experiences. To this day I get creeped out by uber religious people.

I don't know how people can STILL be so adamant that religious people ( no matter which denomination) can't be sexual predators.

My stepmother is still saying that Duggar kid that's been in the news lately was set up because she can't believe holy rollers can do wrong.

I was sexually abused as a very young child too, not in church but family “friend”. This my frens is a very hard reality a lot of people deal with the hidden secret. Some people have blocked out all memory of abuse and it manifests itself it terrible ways, could be alcohol, drugs etc. This is life long trauma that you can only become a functional adult with the help of Jesus Christ. It is a very terrible thing. Much love to you PankekGirl ❤️

I am sick and tired of false accusations.

If there was a crime, let's hang them.

If you're making it up, let's hang you.

Sensitivity be damned. There are people out there eating kids and every last one of them needs an appointment with a tree and a rope.

We know, from our scripture and from experience, that wolves are among us. We are as vigilant as possible to find and remove them. We are way more diligent and successful than any other organization, and our statistics show this.

Why do you insist on protecting the wolves? Or are you merely spreading rumor?

I understand your feelings. However, there are people's lives at risk who never did anything to deserve the fallout that will come from revealing names publicly. Families get torn apart and destroyed. Siblings, extended family members. Think about it. It isn't as straight forward as you suggest. Personally, I am for shining a light, but I have been both the child that someone tried to help, which resulted in a near death experience for me because it was obvious that I was the blabber, and the outsider who tried to help with disastrous results. It's different in EVERY case. Discretion is key. It doesn't help the children to hang their parent. But it certainly would help if family members would intervene, or put a stop to it without additional shame to the child.

It is hard for the abused to come forward when the powerstructure is corrupt and deeply involved. If a victim can come forward safely they absolutely should. To who though?

Overly strict rules are a sign that there is a problem with whatever the rules are trying to prevent. You dont need a "keep off the grass" sign if everyone is using the sidewalk. The worst part is when these rules are just an illusion for plausable deniability.

I agree with you here, but unfortunately the child or children are often taken from their home and put in homes with strangers. Even if they are lucky, and they aren't abused in new ways, they suffer from the loss of other family members, cherished pets, friends, etc., and the difficulty of being thrown in with a completely different "family" culture. It really is terribly traumatizing. Obviously, it can't always be avoided. Some parents are homicidal sadists, but so are some foster parents.

I named names once. I was an adult and not actually involved it just looked pretty sketchy. They decided there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute. I'm pretty sure it was true the guy was excommunicated. Then the whole area had to follow the "overly strict" rules. I had to listen to so much whining. I told a couple people what I knew about the gruesome why, then they understood. But I felt weird going around popping people's little innocent bubbles.

I think Mormons are better then most at safety but there are lots of sick people out there and a church with tons of kids is a good target.

One of the problems in previous years was that the bishops always insisted on dealing with it internally. Reports of child abuse weren't reported to the police or child protective services.

I'm using discretion. The youngest to my knowledge of facts, not speculation, was 16. In addition, I feel it's important to take the time in which he lived into consideration. It wasn't uncommon for teenagers to marry around 15. Also, a pedophile is defined as "A person aged 16 years old or older who is mostly or only sexually attracted toward prepubescent children." PREPUBESCENT.

I don't condone any of his behavior, including being a false prophet, but people are diminishing the power of the term pedophile by misusing it, in my opinion. I take these matters seriously and mean no offense to anyone. Smith was married to many women. Some old.

...okay, so? He's been dead for 160-170 years. What does this have to do with what the church actually teaches, and the church today?

People who base their religious believes only on men are nothing but fools. If people want to reject the message of a church based on stories of the actions of men who have been dead for the better part of two centuries, and who themselves are not the subject of worship, then that doesn't say much for their understanding of the religion in the first place, it only speaks for their lack of it.

Oh, I should add... at the time polygamy was LEGAL.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– yudsfpbc 1 point 4 years ago +1 / -0
  1. Polygamy must be approved by God and his prophet. That approval ended with Wilford Woodruff's revelation and the reception of it by the church.
  2. Women must agree to it. If the first spouse(s) says no, then no. Husbands had no choice.
  3. Husbands must provide for families. Thus, only wealthy husbands could participate. It meant more work.
  4. Oftentimes widows and unmarriable women were used, to ensure they had someone they could demand food, clothing and shelter from, as well as supply the needs of their children. As Mark Twain said, anyone who would marry more than one of those pioneer women deserved to go to heaven.
  5. Joseph Smith practiced marriage that was not physical at all, but only spiritual. We say "eternity but not time." For instance, they already had a husband not of our faith but they would be married to someone else eternally. (This doesn't make any sense unless you understand what we teach on eternal families, and this practice ended with Brigham Young.)
  6. We never removed anyone from the church who did not accept the teaching, nor did we require belief of it to join. You should read Joseph F. Smith's testimony to congress on this.
  7. If women were unhappy with the arrangement, they were free to divorce and remarry. Many of Brigham Young's wives left him through divorce, and married single men. Thus we see that, contrary to malicious reports, single marriage was preferred to polygamy.
  8. It was taught as a temporary practice to address a temporary need - the lack of faithful men to be husbands and fathers, and the surplus of faithful women. God needed more kids raised by faithful men, so he commanded us to practice it temporarily.

There is much more to say on the matter. Unfortunately most of the writing on the subject is by those who never experienced it or even witnessed it. Contemporary accounts show that sexual gratification had nothing to do with it, and women more often were more enthusiastic about it than the men.

I didn't know any of the perpetrators.

And it was pre-Q, back when I was completely blackpilled, and when I expected that the only justice could come from God.

I had a friend for many years who was victimized by people within a very high profile, seemingly great church. She never did get over it - negatively impacts her life to this day. The enemy loves nothing more than to infiltrate the places people believe are safe - infiltrate the church, and Christians and God get blamed. It’s the perfect set up for evil. But God sees and He will have His vengeance for what these evil people have done to the children.

Unfortunately every church is susceptible because humans are involved. The key is distinguishing not by religion or R vs D or whatever. It’s good vs evil.

For an interesting look at RSA, check out Fiona Barnett's book or the documentary Candy Girl.

I'm not saying that everything she said was true, but I do believe that she was sex trafficked. Her story is absolutely horrifying

Her book can be found on archive.org, and the documentary can be found here:https://poal.co/s/QStorm/500769

There's a big collection of videos related to pizzagate on that page too, including the Barnette doc

We’re Catholic and there is a woman in our church who has been obsessed with my 9 year old son since he was about 5. She is always wanting him to be involved with different events with the church, which she organizes. He’s volunteered in many plays, Bingos, and bazaars—and that’s fine. But she is ALWAYS trying to babysit him. Both sets of his grandparents live within 3 blocks of us. We don’t need a babysitter and I have told her this. She is always insisting. It creeps me out. My husband thinks it’s innocent, but I will never go against my gut.

Romney is even less popular among church membership than he is among republicans.

The only reason he won in Utah was because Trump endorsed him and promised them he was what they needed. He apologized. But the damage is done.

My dad remembers, growing up in the 50s and 60s, that we didn't used to report child abuse to the authorities. We took the offenders on hunting trips they never came home from. We've progressed from that. Now we tell authorities and let them deal with it. But we have always been very much against abuse.

I moved away from Portland to be safer in Utah - Utah County nonetheless. Wtf man… Ive felt eerie ever since moving here, too. Free Masons everywhere, must come with the LDS territory. There is a feeling over here thats heavy. Its the same kind of weight that I felt in Oregon. I don’t think any inch of the planet hasn’t been tainted by these demons.

SOOOOO many freemasons. And a whole interconnecting tunnel system in SLC. Leading to and around downtown structures and businesses. The Alta Club was still networking young men to members in the 90's. There's some very sketchy business going on in SLC. It felt like they imported homicidal maniacs to roam homeless through the parks just before the covid started, too. There was a good vibe for a while, while Rocky Anderson was involved but it sure deteriorated since.

And imagine my face, COMING FROM PORTLAND (born and raised) to see the nice little mormon ladies reaching into their little coin purses to give charity money to the sign holding bums. In slow motion I am running over to stop the transaction screaming DONT FEED THE BUMS ITS A NEVER ENDING CANCER THAT EATS AWAY AT YOUR SOCIETY! BLM AND ANTIFA WILL SMELL THIS STUPIDITY LIKE A DROP OF BLOOD TO A SHARK!!! UTAH WILL BURN IF YOU LET IT GO!!!

I might move back to Portland. Fuck it. At least people see the devastation over there. People here in Utah live in a bubble. They don’t KNOW what Ive seen. Lol.

I'm coming in late here for this conversation but have 2 points 1: the founder of the Mormon church was a bad dude and that is even by liberal TV worthy accounts of him 2: I have rarely witnessed it personally but have known people deeply involved in large churches who told me how rampant abuse is and that in the past when they reported no matter what denomination it was typically met with them being shut down or forced out
