The citizens are in a hypnotic state. The normies get their information from the deep state Mockingbird Media, and from Facebook. Both are tightly controlled by the deep state.
The media has long become adept at mental programming. They use simple techniques such as repetition (The walls are closing in, It is the beginning of the end for Trump), but also more advanced Mockingbird techniques such as carefully programmed pauses and expressions of disgust.
I believe that social media such as facebook uses AI to organize people's feeds in a similar fashion. Everybody gets a customized presentation organized by advanced AI to appear like a simple feed, but is actually trying to get people to follow the accepted deep state narrative.
This is why it is so hard to reach them with facts and memes.

Down with the mental health system. What really needs to happen is men and women need to be encouraged to live according to their masculine & feminine energies. As a woman, I’ve been SO much happier embracing my natural feminine aptitudes and focusing on home & family with “career” not even being on the radar. Contributing some money to the household is secondary to everything else. This notion of 50/50 income, parenting, & housework is a poisonous lie. It doesn’t work like that in real life. There’s give and take, times when one spouse has to carry the other or do more of one thing.
I remember the vitamin commercial in the 70's with that little catchy jingle. She could work, take care of the house and kids and still have ooh la la w/hubby at night. At 12 years old I knew this was bullshit.
I watched my Mom work her ass off taking care of the home and raising 6 kids. Couldn't imagine her adding a full-time job.

Many years ago, I was prescribed Valium to help me sleep during an illness. When that illness ended, I stopped taking the Valium with no problem. I guess I have more willpower than usual.
I was prescribed an Oxy- drug after a surgery, and it was fabulous, and I said to myself, no wonder people are addicted to this, and then I quit taking it. I'd assume many people here have more willpower than most.
I tried some, and it didn't touch my pain, so I never took it again. Perhaps I'm immune. :)

Exactly and it just increases my anger at everyone even Trump! I understand we are at war but it's one that we don't have clear battle lines and casualties are all civilians while our military sits by. I get it's in God's time but His time can be millennial and a lot of really distopian suffering can happen waiting for Him. And just as the North and the South in the last civil war, both side are praying to Him. Someone trusting Him will be let down. Frankly, I'm not Scarlet and my husband isn't Rhett. Seriously, what can some of us do other than try and wake people to the reality, spread joy amongst the chaos, and keep working hard for our families. The virtue signaling from our side annoys me almost as much as the virtue signaling from the enemy.
Should I quit my job and chain myself to city hall at the expense of my wife not being able to buy groceries? Should we take arms up? Oh, should we keep voting and campaigning for politicians to fix everything?

People like my 90-yr-old mother, who have been Democrats their whole life, are either too stubborn, or too media-hypnotized, to abandon that vile political party. I could list all the major problems of the country to my mother, and she would agree they need to be fixed, but then she would refuse to acknowledge that the Democrats are causing and promoting those problems.
It's been like the frog in the kettle slowing cooking; the changes in the Democrat party have taken 50+ years. The biggest change, and one that will never allow me to vote for a Democrat, is when they wholeheartedly supported legalization of abortion. Republicans for the most part didn't do much to stop it, but Democrats CELEBRATE it!

I think that statement is wrong. We, the patriotic citizenry of the US, want something done and we are interested in having it done. The only thing is, call someone to do something about it and they are all commies and say nothing is wrong. You can't get the FBI, DOJ, or any other Federal agency to do their job and stop this madness. Even the MSM looks the other way and throws up roadblocks in our paths. So we do and we do what we do to help people see the light and the truth, sometime it just isn't enough for some people. We need a big event, like oh I don't know, several people (commies) being arrested nationally to spark the interest of all the people. But the MSM won't cover it so it will be like it never happened. We the patriots need to control the narrative, not the people like the left loves to control.
