Congrats!!! My friend, a chef from Ethiopia, became a US citizen this week and he was so stoked! Only took him 27 years! And he's as based as all of us here.
In my personal experience most lawful immigrants that have gained citizenship are totally based. Most escaped the Soviet Union and are vehemently against all of the lefty globohomo agenda bullshittery.
Which is why the government makes it so hard to become a citizen for the ones who earn it. They don't vote the government more power.

I tried to learn Korean before visiting there almost 30 years ago, and if my experience is usual, learning an asian language if English is your "born language" is about as hard as it can get when it comes to learning a foreign language! I entertained the Koreans I was with by just reading the phonetic spelling of the Korean phrases in a little book I had. I could have made a fortune as a standup comic over there by just getting on stage and reading "Can you tell me where the bathroom is?", or "Thank you for the delicious dinner!", or other common phrases :)
Oh my goodness korean is the absolute hardest to me due to structure. Even if Koren used English words and it was just structure change I couldn't do it. But learning how to read and spell is very easy I just don't know what I'm saying

Naturalization ceremony is awesome. I went to one for my aunt, it made me think twice about my beliefs in America. Just resetting the words!
Yes, it is! My Mom worked for a Federal Judge and I sat in the back of the Courtroom during many of these ceremonies. Applicant's Study, then pass a test on American history that many of us might fail at the ceremony they are awarded their naturalization papers and are presented with an American flag. Very moving!
