My husband had a customer send him a payment today and paypal held the funds for more info. He called them and they needed to know what the payment was for! None of their business but this will be the future of all our financial institutions if something doesn’t change. <smh>
Well, it actually isn’t their business, but the nature of it is, that’s because their personal transactions have no fees, but business do. So if your husband was accepting work payments without paying the fees it’s against their service agreement.
I see your point but that wasn't the situation. He has used PayPal as a business and paid fees for the past 6-8 years.
Yup well then they can suck a dick.
Weak sauce. Should be down 50%
It’s actually down 70% this year. Ya’ll need to zoom out.
I'm about to dump my account soon until a few transactions go through I will be able to.
me too
ditto
In the process of doing so right now.
Same
i did my part by deleting our account which we had for 20 + years!
You can count my cancellation as of this morning as well!
Cancelled yesterday! No loss.
Deleted mine too! 15 years! Told them to fuck off
Same!
I don't think their lost business will come back, and prospective business will be more hesitant to use them. Once they showed a desire to confiscate large sums of money for totally subjective, ill defined reasons, they scared a lot of business off.
Closed my account today.
Me too.
All stocks sinking like a stone. Thatbisnt from people quitting.
I sold all my shares and closed my account f them
Those cunt hedge funds should have shorted it.
Oh well.
[Waits for MOASS and laughs at PayPal]
They probably did, maybe that's why they made a stupid announcement, because they needed it to crash🤷♂️
EXACTLY MY THOUGHT!
I’m disappointed it didn’t go down more. Wanted it to burn to the ground. Probably all the corrupt Big Tech, Blackrock and insider trading Congressmen propping it up. No other explanation, because on news like this, it should have gone down a minimum of 20%. At least temporarily due to panic sellers and people shorting for a quick buck. Especially on a day like today when most stocks are down like 5% anyway. Our markets are so fkn rigged.
Use parallel economy
Tank, and we buy it up. MPPGA?
4.4% is far from sinking like a stone, unfortunately
Wait until they announce how many people closed their accounts.
Get woke, go broke.
Unfortunately, I had bought a couple of items using PP credit before seeing the news.
Guess I'll refuse to pay $2500 for their discrimination against right-thinking patriots!
Are they blocking closing of accounts now? It's not letting me close my account on the website, it wants me to call them.
No surprises who the major shareholders of PayPal are. The usual cabal suspects, Vanguard, Blackrock, State Street.

Yep. They deserve it. I canceled my account today. Communist need to pay dearly and we should wipe them out of our country.
Love these graphs.
well I'm usually unmoved and I closed my account. Maybe there's also the thing with the Canadian truckers that weighed in the balance.
Wow, it was 300 bux a share just one year ago.
They certainly don't like money.
Bummer.
But yea FAFO!!!
They wanted it this way.
The only thing i used paypal for was charitable donations and the like. i just nuked my account with them entirely.
Let this be a sign of what's to come in November 👀
I got to spread this to a few on the ground today. I put it this way, did you ever say something dumb online when you were younger?---well guess what paypal is doing.......
Here paypal, here's your fail.
I’m glad to have dropped these faggots.
I honestly think PP is going further downhill and this is just a taste. I expect at least a 12-15% drop overall in the short-term, but who can ever forget that Paypal did this? It will have lasting effects for years to come.
