They targeted conservative areas with fake information saying that prop 2 would SOLIDIFY voter ID into the constitution.
My old man showed me this mail flyer when I said remember to vote no on all props this year. He was like, "NO! You want yes to 2 so they have to have voter ID"
Failing to mention it actually says I.D. (((OR))) Signed affidavit i.e. a paper promise.
Many like him were swindled and misled with the massive propaganda campaign where they think they were voting for MORE VOTER ID but in fact it was to ensure we never have a clean election again.
Also fraud, lots of fraud. Everyone I know and their mothers/grandmothers were out voting red although that is in my small town anecdotal evidence.

Now that I’ve popped off 100 rounds of range ammo and took my frustrations out on some hapless pumpkins, I’m thinking a bit clearer, and realize that the cheating was utterly blatant, arrogant, and obvious. I’m disappointed, but patiently waiting for what happens next before I completely lose hope…

Nope. There were conservative signs covering most of the county that I live in and most of the places I have visited. It was the same way in 2020 with the Trump signs. I have only seen vote no’s for most of the props. Just a couple yes signs. It truly doesn’t make sense….. unless there was cheating, of course.
Propaganda was pretty hard here though. We got several hilarious mailers and if you went on YouTube it was an endless stream of democratic ads. We don’t really have tv so I don’t know about commercials but I imagine that was pretty heavy too.
I live in a very liberal area of michigan, and I was so excited because for every blue sign/sticker I saw, there were at least 3 red signs/stickers after. I was actually excited thinking Tudor Dixon would win. Very sad this morning to learn the news. Everyone hates whitmer, I'm not sure what happened. The voting spots I drove by yesterday were quite empty, along with the spot I voted at. I can't help but be bummed. Gretchen should be GONE!
I was really disappointed too. My polling place was BUSY though. I’ve always been in and out and yesterday it took nearly and hour to get in and out with a never ending line out the door! I think we got there around 5:30pm though. There was probably a lot of people on their way home from work. The lady whose job seemed to be corralling the line had mentioned that it had been like that a lot throughout the day though.
Pretty sick to my stomach here in Northern Michigan. Out of hundreds of people I know, only a half a dozen might voted Democrat.

Funny thing at work this morning - several libs admitted that they were fooled into voting (early) for the 3 proposals and most of them ended up not liking what props 1 and 2 did (obviously as libs they all are perfectly happy with the baby murder prop though).
So, much as I’m sure cheating ALSO played a part, mostly Michigan just seems full of stupid people.
Also of note - despite the major victories, the attitude amongst my normie leftist coworkers was one of ambivalence rather than the usual jubilance.
As if they all realized this just means more of the same BS that nobody was happy with. But hey, at least we don’t have “that QAnon woman” as governor, amirite?

Some Michigan counties WOULD NEVER become blue, it wouldn't happen in a million years.
This isn't saying that all the counties went blue. It's just saying that they're all more blue, or less red, than they were 2020.
