This may be completely unrelated, but I was reading somewhere that someone knew that THIS location is only 30 minutes away from the recent University of Idaho murders. (4 students murdered. Killer still at large)
The person who noted this said he found it very unusual for such a podunk area to have TWO major news stories happening at practically the same time. (or ANY major news story, for that matter) But, could just be a big flaming coincidence.
One question I want to know is why are police limiting the search for One and Only One suspect? This looks like the Manson Murders if the details being provided are accurate. I find the one murderer narrative impossible to believe.
they say all victims were killed by the same knife. What if there were two or more knives used which were identical? Would that make it look like all were killed by the same knife?
In the age of mass manufacturing, you can go buy two (of the same) knives and have them be so close that there is no way even a forensic team would be able to tell the difference from the wound inflicted. Never you mind that angle of attack, defensive response, situation, etc. would all change the knife wounds in more ways than that.
There are other, more meaningful ways to narrow it down to a single suspect than that.

So when people search a town name they can press the story for the FF and google will return that result instead of the FTX information.

Looking at more maps of the PNW. Farmington is a very convenient dodge point that isn't on most, but in general there is a corridor from the Columbia to Canada and about 60 miles wide which is very sparsely traveled and could be a smuggling route.

Continuing south of the Columbia one goes through the Oregon outback, another road less traveled, and eventually Nevada and the Loneliest Road in America. Could be smooth sailing for an invading army from BC, or a good reason for these three states to hang together for various nefarious purposes. And after Nevada, Arizona.
Man the more I think on all of this. This battle really isnt just on humanities plane. It really is in the spiritual realm. It really is good vs evil. That town is so in the middle of nowhere, they don't have a gas station, a post office, or a place to eat. Why is a bank there at all? The businesses are in Pullman or Moscow, or more and bigger in Spokane and Couer d'Alene.
I know of a similarly shaped building used as a bank that was as wide as that one. However, it is at least 2x-3x longer than the one in the pic the op posted. From what I understand, the one I'm familiar with was garage before it became a drive-thru bank (they built a narrow road around the garage, it wasn't literally drive thru :-) ).
I am pretty sure it is still a bank to this day ... haven't seen the place in years ... I know the structure was still there relatively recently ... I simply cannot remember if it was still a bank though :-) .
I'll be devil's advocate for Slimy Bankman-Fraud. A state bank charter is very hard to get in a hurry. In most states, the charter process can take years. Many firms like this acquire their charter by buying an existing bank, which allows you to assume their charter instead of having to apply for one.
Another big financial player that just went thru the same thing (merging with a traditional bank to gain a charter) is SoFi.
