This brings me back to a question that many other smart pedes have asked as well:
Given the increasingly obvious number of tendrils that Congress, the White House and the I.C. had into Twatter, HOW IN THE HELL WAS ELON ABLE TO BUY IT?
For any doubters about Musk's intentions, I cannot fathom a scenario where this acquisition could occur without some enormous assistance from powerful people (white hats) both in and outside of the Federal Government. There's too much at stake here for them to just give it up.
The question of course then is what kind of wrangling/negotiating/outright war took place in order for this to happen?
Excellent point, Bigsix. That's another element that I know seemed extremely strange at the time. I can't imagine what the story is behind all this. I hope we get to learn it someday.
I'm still shocked that they didn't have any 'storage device catastrophic errors', such as what probably happened or 'about to' happen to Weiners laptop.
Evidence is had by plenty of folks, what we don't have is a court.
Evidence for Brunson v Adams coming up for conference in SCOTUS Jan. 6.
Wish I could upvote this comment like 1,000,000 times.
Maybe military courts have balls. Hoping
This is the reason Elon Musk bought Twitter for 44 billion dollars.
A little sad it took this much money to save our Republic.
It’s only a drop compared to the trillions they are stealing!
We're supposedly $80 trillion in debt ww (lol nope) so $44 XL to expose the Deepthroats is a drop in their ocean of fiat currency
If this is all it would take, I'd say it's a bargain. This is a step, probably a big one. But many, many steps left of course.
The money has no real value.
Mostly Saudi and bankers money.
IN B4 Elon buys the Standard Hotel
Schiff's humanity was dissolved in a bathtub.
I don't think he had one to begin with.
He had one when he was born. We all do.
Hidden assumption there is that schiff and others like him are the same species as us. ;)
STANDARD acid barrels on roof. They set off an alert with the city acid gas coming up from manhole covers all the way to treatment plants.
HOT HELL. "Ho... Tell! "
Just like a good lawyer, asking a question to which he already knows the answer.

Don’t ever ask a question you don’t know the answer to.
Same as Trump. It’s a good habit. When he asks a question, it’s the question itself he wants us to notice.

Plus the funny actions of the board of directors: Going from no, we won't sell to we'll sue you if you don't buy it. That was weird.

@Elon, don’t hand over CEO !!!
The day of the rope is coming and that asshole needs fitted for his permanent necktie.
Don't need much rope for Pencil Neck!
Musk, like Trump, doesn't ask the question unless he already knows the answer. Smart people do this to trap the person being asked.
Wow, ELON GOING HARD.

Oh now it’s getting good!
Shifty Schiff can’t be ousted from power soon enough.
He already showed the goods. Schiff would be responsible for what elon dropped re: twitter files v7
