In my view both are true. We are living in the end times (doubt it goes down like any of us percieve it will though) and there is a Great Awakening happening. Much of the end times is arguable from so many different points of view that is can be overbearing to find a true answer. I dont really agree with much of the rapture argument... though i accept that i could be wrong. As with everything i take it to Jesus in prayer.
What i think is truly important about Revelations is not the darkness you see when reading through it. It is the promise. This story ends with 1000 years of peace on earth and Jesus Christ himself on the Throne. You can spend your whole life reading through Revelations and Daniel and never find a concrete answer. You are not supposed to. The answer is, and always has been since His sacrifice, Jesus Christ!
I too live in solitude. I interect with the world only when my heart tells me to. Even then i am reluctant to really let people know. Most of us Christians have a huge problem. We think it is our task to save everyone else, we must save all the sinners. I have dropped this thinking. My task is not to convert those who do not see Him, instead it is to improve my life by displaying his Character any time He calls on me to do so. Jesus is Salvation, He alone can save all who are lost, we are here to be ready to do His Will anytime we are called upon.
I pray for this world! I pray for all of you anons. Mostly, i pray for our children. It is their generation that will either "Know God" or it is their generation who will forsake Him.
If you are a believer i can only recommend what i do. I pray and Jesus answers, i believe i know the times and i believe only Jesus can tell you what that means.
Regardless of the times... i wish peace to all of you, believer and non believer. We can choose to be different, Jesus can show us the way. For narrow is the path.
It's abundantly clear to me what is unfolding in real time. There's a delusion being unleashed on the world. What's interesting is it has many faces, meaning it is pulling many people in different ways into it's grips.
The great awakening is a term that is in reference to a Holy Spirit filled revival. Now we have that term or title hijacked for political purposes. I see so many of my brothers and sisters in Christ under this delusion that there's a political solution to this spiritual problem.
How can so many people be blinded by their flesh in these times? I ask myself this often.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is the end. Too much to back up that claim. Prophecy is unfolding like never before. Once Father showed me the hidden manna through His Holy Spirit and His servants, it all became undeniable for me.
Judgement is here, division is happening, even between the believers. There will be very few that find the narrow way. I just never thought it would be so narrow and so few.
Once it became clear this is about the seed of man and what it means to our Creator to defile what He created, it all made sense. Most of scripture is all about the seed war.
When you defile God's temple where His name is, that is what separates you from Him. When you cheat on your husband for fornicating with other gods, that's grounds for divorce. That adultery or fornication is what cause Father (Holy Spirit) to leave you. When He leaves you , you're desolate/empty.
This is the one sign that shows us where we are and what's coming. When you see the abomination that makes desolate that Daniel mentions, stand where it ought not be (let the reader understand). This is it brothers and sisters.
Rev. 18:23 says pharmakeia is how the nation's are decieved. And as a result their light is removed/extinguished. Christ no longer is in them. For He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. The life is in the blood. The kingdom is within. It all comes together to say the same thing.
His word says there's 2 different people that are destroyed. Those who take the mark, name or number and those who worship the beast or it's image.
It's clear who are marked. It takes discernment to determine who the other group is. Suffice it say, I don't trust the plan as many have defined it in this season. I believe many which so happen to be Christians are being deceived. Too many being corralled to a certain destination.
If my experience with God has shown me anything it's this. Wherever the masses are going, I should go in the opposite direction. I don't believe a great awakening as defined on this forum will happen, just like I don't believe a 3rd temple will be built in Jerusalem, 2 very unpopular beliefs.
So I'll just leave it there, as I could go on forever on this topic. I wish you the best on your journey in discovering the Truth.
I do not believe this is the end. The world has been here before. There is a dividing for sure. Believer from unbeliever the only two categories that God sees.
"Choose you this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord".
Thank you for the response. Yes, the Greek word for "sorcery" is pharakeia, which is where we get the term "pharmacy/pharmaceutical" from. Big Pharma has certainly deceived so many in this world.
I have been reflecting upon this during my workout. My awakening was both political and spiritual separately and also at times, simultaneously. But I don’t think that either could have happened without the other. It began with the 2020 election, politically. And I kept digging deeper. I was so aware of the depths of corruption which was deeply depressing. And then the vaccine mandate at my job happened. I have always been a believer. But definitely go through the motions and Luke-warm. Little did I know, God was challenging me. This was a spiritual test. I clung to him. I remained steadfast in His promises, though I didn’t know entirely what those promises were. Just trust Him and he will get you through. I just prayed and remained unwavering in the fact that God will take care of me. God not only provided me a job, but He opened up my spiritual world. He got me to the next level in my faith and I can FEEL it. Now, everything I see is a spiritual war. It’s not political at all to me. He came through. And His promise were everything I didn’t know I needed. All because I leaned into Him and not away from Him. I don’t know much about prophecy. But that’s my story and I hope it helps bring a little hope.
Thank you! As I mentioned, I've seen so many fall away from their faith in God, and most of them women who were rather dear to me. It's good to hear your story and how God blessed you for making a stand against this tyranny. I've been lucky that Japan imposed no vax mandates, as my wife and I had planned to quit our teaching jobs and just move in with her family in the countryside and just become farmers or something. My wife's faith has waned a bit, but recently the reality of spiritual warfare has awoken her quite a bit. Her father had become a volunteer for Shinto exorcist rituals, in which the priest was using him as a spiritual dust bin. He developed a kidney disease, his wife got breast cancer, my wife got hit by a car and my appendix burst, all within the span of a couple of years. My wife's mom forced him to quit, especially upon learning the fate of his predecessor for that position as well as others in a nearby village. These Shinto priests cannot command the name of Christ to expunge evil spirits, but are only capable of shuffling them around, primarily into their assistants. It's rather sick.
You can read my responses to others in this topic. Thank you for responding. Just as I have come closer to God these past couple of months, I've just felt increasingly alone in my spiritual walk. I'm trying to guide my family and dedicate us as a family to following God's word, even if we have to do it alone. Thank you for reaching out to me. It has been a blessing to me.
I know it’s lonely. A lot of the awakening is lonely. I mean, my entire family thinks I’m a conspiracy theorist. And my husband did for a while too. He has started to come around, but still disagrees with me on quite a bit. The spiritual awakening can be lonely, but also liberating. You are no longer bound by the chains of this evil world. You are liberated and you will likely never go back. Even when you feel so alone, God is as close as the air you breathe. He is always with you.
Thank you. My wife used to think I was crazy. A few years ago, telling anyone that Bill Gates is the spirit of the Antichrist would provoke puzzled looks. "You mean the Microsoft guy? You're weird!" Now look at what's going on. He's too scared to even attend Davos, which is guarded by all these Metal Gear Solid minion-looking soldiers this year. We had discussed to halt all vaccines for our daughter and rejected the tetanus booster before this came along. When my wife saw the media pushing vaccines so intensely, it really made her wonder what is going on. She found a few Japanese books on COVID, and these books mention evildoers such as JD Rockefeller, Soros and Bill Gates, as well as lots of key people like David Icke, Dr. Mike Yeadon, and others. It's really opened her eyes to what is going on in this world, for sure. She's not entirely on board with other stuff I have told her, about the Royal Family being involved with child trafficking, but at least these doom shots have helped her to see more clearly than before.
I have faith that she will come around. It took me a while to come around to the idea that 9/11 was an inside job. Awakening is a journey. And awakening is hard work. Especially when it’s all on your own and you don’t want to face it. I just kept digging and now I question EVERYTHING. But it took me a while to get to where I’m at. She will continue to have revelations, just like you did. Just like I did
I too once ridiculed 9/11 Truthers online, 10+ years ago, but then I had the intellectual honesty to challenge myself. Actually, I have shown her the explosions going off in the Twin Towers in 9/11 and showed her the "This is an orange" video that clearly shows how the event was orchestrated. I've also shown her Big Mike dancing on the Ellen Degenerate show, with a certain something else dancing around in those white slacks. She gets all that, but still doesn't quite has a grasp on how deep the rabbit hole goes, especially in regards to how these people get off on hurting children.
Yeah I will say that a friend that God brought into my life right when I was awakening (miracle) showed me the info on the children right away. After I saw that, it wouldn’t be hard for me to put anything past those evil scumbags. I will say, what helped my awakening was the realization that the capacity for evil is unlimited in this world. And Satan is more evil than your Friday night dateline episode. And it’s not even close. Once you can grasp that there is no limitation to the amount of evil, it starts to make sense. I have to give credit to the Father though. It took me 27 years of my life to be awakened. For some it’s less, for some it’s a lot more. But He NEVER gave up on me. I was blissfully unaware of how the world truly works and who actually rules the world. But he never gave up on me. He will never ever give up on your wife and all the women you love. That is a promise. And I am living proof of a kept promise. I was just speaking to my miracle friend on the phone and we were talking about how it’s incredible where the seeds that you plant will grow. And you truly never know how a seed will grow that you plant. So plant them anyways!!!
Thank you. I pray daily that God will will bring those dear to me back to Him. I was especially heartbroken over the dear girl I used to date. We not only went to church together, but to the same community college too. She was in nursing while I was doing business. She was a vegetarian though, and later I discovered she was anorexic. That was enough to put the brakes on for me, but she was still dear to me. Then I lost track of her when I first moved to Japan in 2000, got married, then we lived in Arizona for nearly 10 years. During that time, my dad saw her working at a hospital during one of the many times my mom was hospitalized. She told my dad that she'd been in a rotten relationship which involved domestic violence. I wanted to go to the hospital then but my dad talked me out of it. Then last month this girl's dad confirmed what happened. I figured she had improved herself from that situation, but she's only become an atheist now. It's hurt my soul so much to think that if only I had married her, I could have saved her from such torment and she'd still be in a good relationship with both God and her parents. But if I were to have done so, I would have abandoned a precious girl in Japan who was a brand new Christian, thanks to me. Plus I would have had to abandon the calling God placed in my heart since high school to work in Japan. But God moves us with conviction. Guilt and condemnation is from Satan. This girl I loved made the decision to shack up with an alcoholic drug addict who turned out violent. I can claim responsibility for breaking her heart as much as I tried to avoid doing so, but she made the decision to pursue guys who were the opposite of me. At least she thought enough of me to give her dad my contact info, and now I shoulder the burden of praying for his family daily. All I can do is pray for her, since she has not tried to contact me herself. I wish I could do more than this. She has a daughter the same age as my own. I wish I could reconnect and resolve any negative energy that there may be in the connection we had together from 23+ years ago. I didn't marry her, but I loved her enough to not pursue her heart because I lacked the confidence and maturity to overcome her eating disorders.
Julie explains that the elites are trying to usher in end times (tribulation) ahead of God’s schedule. But God is calling His people to arise and to fight in the spirit along with Him and say no to this evil and accelerated timeline. We are about to experience the Great Exodus, a worldwide deliverance from slavery greater than the original Exodus. Much of the world does not even realize we are enslaved.
I’ve been studying end times for the past year and several months ago was reading through Matthew 24 for the hundredth or so time. Verse 14 popped out at me in a way it never had. So many are prophecying a great harvest of souls, a great revival coming. I believe God has shown me that verse 14 speaks clearly to this time of revival and the nations awakening to the reality of Jesus as Messiah. Many will come to know Him as their Lord and Savior in the coming days. And then the end will come, as verse 14 states.
The enemy wants to bypass this important time and keep as many out of heaven as possible. Too much of the world does not know Christ. God is bringing the Great Awakening and the Great Harvest of souls. These will be glory days for those who turn to Him and walk with Him and a time of judgment for those who refuse.
Haggai 2:6-9, I believe, also speaks of what is happening and coming. There are many passages in Isaiah (ex. 44 speaks of God pouring our His Spirit on the earth). Many have said that Joel 2 also speaks to these days. There are many Scriptures that speak to these days but we’ve been blinded to them. Every day I am asking God to open my eyes and heart to understand more fully what has been said in Scripture about these days.
Let me add that as I’ve been wrestling with these topics, I have personally experienced massive spiritual revival in my personal life and it is spreading now throughout my family. I have experienced physical healing, have a newfound burning passion for Jesus and His Word, am seeing dormant passions for ministry revived. It’s spreading now in my church and everywhere the Lord has me share. I am radically changed, all fear, anxiety and anger regarding the future are gone because I am convinced of what God is doing and is about to do in these times. It’s a stark contrast to how crippled I was by fear and anger at the beginning of 2022. God has done miracles in my life and He is moving throughout the world in similar ways! Praise God who has not abandoned us! He is our redeemer and deliverer!!
Right? I too am experiencing a spiritual revival. Since November, I have not only been exercising, losing weight, and making lifestyle changes, but I also started seeking God so much more in my life. God then burdened my heart to pray for that one girl whom I was close to but never got serious with, the one from Ireland who never did me wrong. It inspired me to go back and read the journals I had written during those days to relive those memories of college and the times I spent with her, and in doing so I reconnected with the younger version of myself who was far more connected with God than I have been in too many long years. It's like that version of myself in my 20s has been teaching me, now double that age, what it is like to truly trust God's plan for my life when I have all but given up on seeking that over the years. So I took the chance to reach out to her, and it was her father who contacted me. He confirmed that she truly is in trouble, having endured trauma and abuse which drove her away from God years ago and is now married to a militant atheist. I now remain in contact with her father, but 3 out of 5 of his children have turned away from God.
But for me, living here in Japan, I am rededicating myself in my faith and am being proactive in studying the Bible with my family. My wife's faith has waned over the years as well, but she definitely knows that we are in a spiritual battle not only in our private lives but on a world-wide level with these doom shots. I'm not adequate to really minister, but we now do "pajama church" on Sundays in which we lay in bed and read the bible together, in English and in Japanese. And last month in both my children's and adult English classes, I took the opportunity of Christmas to share the message of Jesus to students, which I shied away from many years ago. I had one adult student who is an elderly man bring his Bible to the evening class and share his favorite verses with me. He said that he admires the message of the Bible far more than Buddhism and least of all Shinto. You see, the most genuine Christians I have ever encountered have been here in Japan, but they are so few and far between. MacArthur said to send missionaries after the war, but American clergy were still to bitter to do so. The skyline of a city in Korea is sprinkled with so many crosses atop of churches, but not here in nearby Japan. I wish this was not so.
I don't know what this country will be like in 5 years from now. People keep getting these doom shots, then complaining about "testing positive." I tell them that my family and I have not been vaccinated at all and we've been healthy for this past 3 years. I did catch something in October that gave me a fever and scrambled my brain a bit, and my sense of taste and smell was weird for a couple of days, but nobody could tell I was sick. After that, in November, both my body and spirit were ascended, and I spend more time in the evenings praying while exercising rather than focusing on hobbies.
I pray for revival, for my dear cousins, the lovely girl whose family wanted me to marry (and Satan has attacked me with guilt for not marrying her, with the idea that I could have saved her from the abuse and trauma that has sunk her soul into darkness), even the one who betrayed me. Because I am witness to their sincerity in their love of God back then, 26 years ago. I pray that God will reveal Himself to them and rescue them from the sin that has been layered on them through poor decisions. Apart from my family though, and a couple of Christian friends I talk with on the internet, and of course my frens here on this forum, I'm just in spiritual isolation. The "coworkers" of mine (whom I rarely see) are mostly libtards, and two are vehement anti-Christian bigots. I pray for revival.
I'll spend some time with those verses you shared with me today and in prayer. Thank you and God bless.
Every event is a spiritual event.
We have been deceived by the world to consider that somehow God is not always with us.
I count myself as one that was also so easily lead astray
Great question, and discussion! I've been a believer for several years, but recently have had my spiritual eyes opened even further. I've listened to several prophecies about a 3rd "Great Awakening" and a "Great Harvest", so I definitely think it's mostly a spiritual awakening being referenced. What I find interesting though, is how this term is being used across many different areas in our culture - spiritually, politically, and in different belief systems (for example, the new age movement). It's almost like, even if some don't know it yet, we are all fighting on the same team against a common enemy, and God is using this to draw people closer to himself and towards an end goal of a great spiritual revival. There have been many times in history that a spiritual awakening precedes major political upheaval and societal change. So both can coincide hand in hand.
It's undeniable that we are living through a spiritual event, where some eyes have been opened to the truth / the veil has been lifted, and while others eyes have been blinded. It reminds me of the scripture Matthew 13:11-12 - “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."
For what it's worth, I've enjoyed reading all of the responses here, and digging into scripture about the end times. I would personally love to do more of this on here, maybe form a sort of bible study discussion group? A way to dig into the word and have fellowship... just a thought!
I believe it is a biblical event. I believe it is towards the end time. I believe there will be clear good v evil. And people will have to choose sides.
I believe revelations is out of the question. Because I believe it as a reference to if we the good fail.
Which we won't. I believe the end is the good prevails. Thus proving in the Ultimate way that good always prevails even with free will. And what a better slam to the forces of evil as an homage to the creator of the universe that we prevailed with or without his aid.
Revelation is to fail. Christ return to the earth we so vigorously fought for is salvation. This is also very time "soon" interwoven.
Long story short. Jesus is king. We already won. And nothing evil can do can stop us. Only delay the inevitable if we allow it.
I live in a small town in Japan. There are some tiny churches scattered around here, but they resemble an elderly home with only a handful of people attending. There's nothing vaguely of value for my daughter that isn't at least an hour's drive away, and convincing my wife and daughter to go has been difficult.
Oof! My heart aches for you, friend. I can hear your loneliness and the edge of despair.
First - this isn't a replacement for in person relationships, but getting some strong Biblical teaching in your life right now will help you orient quickly and confidently - it will also take the edge off of feeling alone.
He teaches A LOT on exactly the questions you asked regarding the End Times. My wife and I found that church when nearly every other church closed down during Lockdowns in Southern CA and it has REALLY boosted our confidence and understanding in what we are going through right now as well as where we are to focus and do during this as Jesus Followers.
At that church link, there are services streamed online (you can watch on Roku too) on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
But the timing? No one knows except for God the Father - not even Jesus.
And according to examples in the Bible, God has in the past delayed judgement on cultures, based off those cultures returning to Him - but they eventually come.
Therefore, because we don't know the day or the hour, the Bible (Jesus said it Himself) instructs us to know the signs - and when we see them, be on the lookout for the return of Jesus.
The Bible also tells us that we should be living our lives - not cowering in fear of that day - but in anticipation of it - like a bride before her wedding. Getting ourselves ready and Leading others to Christ.
Three years ago I couldn't have told you any of that with the certainty and confidence and joy that I just did. I learned it all through the very well done teaching that happens at Calvary Chapel.
Jack is also a huge Patriot - and has the guts to call out the WEF and Schwab directly as instruments of things the Bible told us to look out for in the last days.
99.5kkla (radio station) is another good one to check out - it's full of sermons throughout the day/night that will keep you grounded and strong in the truth of the Word of God. You can put that on your phone as an app or listen to it stream over the internet.
Yeah, Calvary Chapel is great. I never attended one, but the church I had really based my foundation on (and where I met those girls I dated) was the Vineyard. Chuck Smith and John Wimbur had parted ways over some trivial theological disagreement, and so I believe Vineyard is an offshoot of Calvary. Regardless of differences, both are pretty sound. I'll give those links you provided a listening this weekend.
And yes, I have been pretty close to despair. My best experiences of fellowship with Christians was back when I was in college, in the young singles group at that church, back when I was friends with the girl from Ireland. I know that when one makes the decision to draw closer to God, the enemy will attack more strongly. That is what I have been going through, even fighting thoughts of accusation that she ended up so tragically because I didn't marry her instead of the girl I did marry. Satan is the accuser who brings guilt and condemnation, whereas God guides us with conviction. Big difference. I just cannot take past relationships lightly, even from so long ago, and I am convinced that it was God who prompted me to pray begin praying for her back in November so strongly, telling me that she was in trouble and in need of prayer. So I contacted her out of the blue. She didn't respond, but at least she gave her dad my contact info. He contacted me and confirmed that I do need to pray for her. That she thought enough of me to tell him about me contacting her gives me a glimmer of hope, some thread of affection between us for which my hopes and prayers might tightrope walk across the world to connect to her heart somehow. My name's not even Steve, but I'd named my pet fish after her brother when I was in college, thus my username/website name I've kept for so many years. I now shoulder her father's burden to pray for his family, and 3 of 5 of his children have turned away from God. Even the oldest daughter, who had encouraged me to fly to Japan to propose to the girl I am now married to.
I only have one child, and I fear that I'm inadequate by myself to raise her to follow God. There are just no positive church experiences I can provide for a young girl where there are only a scattering of tiny churches comprised of primarily elderly people. And when school club activities have students busy even on Saturday mornings, Sundays are her only chance to take it easy. Japanese schools can really suck the life out of kids, but at least it keeps them out of trouble.
The Great Awakening isn’t mentioned in biblical prophecies, which leaves two options for how it fits with the end times:
The Great Awakening doesn’t happen (or is limited in scope), resulting in the world getting worse before the Rapture.
The GA does happen, and we have a few decades (a century or two at best) of peace before the world does a repeat of 2020 and fully commits to the Beast’s system.
Either way, act as if the Rapture and Tribulation are imminent. Watch happenings in Israel, especially if war breaks out between Israel and Syria (check out prophecies regarding Damascus).
Ezekiel prophesied that Damascus would be completely obliterated. For a while, I thought that this would happen due to Obama's Junior Varsity Team, but we thwarted them.
Yes, Ezekiel and Isaiah 17 iirc. Damascus gets destroyed, Russia and/or Iran retaliate. God miraculously thwarts their counter attack, Rapture happens simultaneously. Then the Antichrist (possibly someone from Turkey) signs a covenant with Israel so that the Temple can be rebuilt, kicking off the Tribulation.
Except from what I have studied and have learned from teachers, the rapture is the same as the resurrection. There shall be only one second coming of Christ, not a part A and a part B. Never before have Christians been spared tribulation, not at the hands of Muslims, nor communists, nor any other enemies of God.
The Rapture is the same as the resurrection, but not the same as the Second Coming of Christ. In the Rapture, we go to meet Christ in the air, Christ doesn’t come down to earth until the end of the Tribulation. That is the Second Coming.
It is true that Christians won’t escape tribulation in this world, but The Tribulation is a different Beast entirely (pun intended). It is described in the OT as the Day of God’s Wrath and the time of Jacob’s Trouble. In the Tribulation, God will accomplish two things: pouring out His wrath on a wicked world, and drawing Israel back to Himself. The church, as the bride of Christ, has no need to go through the wrath of God since Christ has already endured that for us. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will take place during the Tribulation. To complete the marriage analogy, it would be somewhat weird for the groom to make his bride suffer his wrath before wedding her.
More verses suggesting a pre Trib Rapture:
Luke 21:35-36
Matthew 24:36-51
1 Thessalonians 1:10
2 Thessalonians 1:6-8
Revelation 3:10
See also the example of Lot; God brought Lot out before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah, as Abraham correctly pointed out that God will not destroy the righteous with the wicked.
I just read Matthew 24 in its entirety, not only starting from verse 36. Verse 9 clearly states that Christians will be delivered into tribulation and killed. It is possible that all of this has transpired over many long centuries, as we have seen many false prophets already. Mohammad, Joseph Smith, the Watchtower/JW people (forget the name), 7th Dayers, and of course Moonies, whom are quite the focus of the media here in Japan since PM Abe's assassination last summer.
I suppose one could argue that the tribulation has been underway for the past 2000 years already, kicked off with the likes of Saul, who God revealed himself to and joined the disciples.
A church my family attended during my junior high/high school days did a study in which the pastor essentially said that the Tribulation has already been going on for quite a while already, meaning that when Jesus comes back, it will essentially be a post-Tribulation rapture and ressurrection, in which the remaining faithful plus those whom have already passed away will be reunited together at once.
Matthew 24: 17 talks about needing to flee, and woe be to pregnant or nursing mothers. It doesn't look like we'll be taken to Heaven without having to go through a lot of pain and suffering. Verse 21 talks of such great tribulation, verse 30 speaks of Christ's return, and then later in 36 it speaks of people being taken away. I'm looking at this as a linear progression and not cherry-picking.
I'm not being argumentative, but just wanting to seek enlightenment. Do you have a rebuttal? I would appreciate your input. Thanks.
Verses 1-2 obviously refer to the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D., so that part has already been fulfilled. Likewise, verse 4-9 describe the current church age quite well. However, I will note again that the tribulations and afflictions mentioned here are nothing compared the Tribulation, which is uniquely described as the Wrath of God and the time of Jacob's Trouble.
This fact is important as we see that Christ shifts to talk about the abomination of desolation in verses 15-28. The abomination of desolation is also mentioned in Daniel 8:9-11, 13-14, 23-26, and Daniel 11:31. These passages are stated to take place during "the latter indignation", another name for the Tribulation. The Abomination of Desolation specifically occurs during the latter half of this 7 year period. Here's an article that breaks down Daniel, specifically rebutting the theory that Antiochus IV already fulfilled Daniel:
Matthew 24:17 talks about the need to flee, because the Abomination of Desolation basically consists of the Antichrist suddenly betraying the agreement that he set up with Israel and invading. Jesus also notes that they should pray that the flight not take place on the sabbath, something that only applies to Jews as Christians don't observe the sabbath. Therefore verse 15-28 are specifically for the nation of Israel. Verse 21 states "for then there shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be". This imo rules out most of the lesser tribulations and trials that Christians and Jews alike have experienced in the past 2,000 years, though arguably the Holocaust may approximate some of the horrors of the real Tribulation. Lastly, verse 22 says that if those days weren't cut short, no flesh would survive. This again rules out the events of the past 2,000 years, as there are 8 billion people and millions of Jews left on the planet. The numerous catastrophes of Revelation are much better candidates for plausibly wiping out the human population were they allowed to continue for more than 7 years.
Unfortunately, your pastor seems to be incorrect that the Tribulation has been going on for 2,000 years. While I understand the confusion, as both Christians and Jews have faced fierce persecution throughout history, the scriptural evidence doesn't seem to support it. When Daniel and Revelation are read together, it's extremely difficult to come away with anything else than a specific 7 year period:

I'm glad you're interested in this subject and willing dive deeply into what the Bible says regarding the end times. I hope you find these resources helpful in your studies.
I grew up believing that the rapture comes before the tribulation. Those who accepted the Mark of the Beast are left after the rapture, and then they have a chance to accept Christ, but have to go through the tribulation and suffer as Christ did to earn their place in heaven.
At least that’s what I understood from those Revelation Bible studies.
But it is apparent I need to get back into study instead of relying on what I think I was taught. Thanks to all for the references.
You've pretty much got it, except that the Mark of the Beast doesn't get implemented until after the Rapture, and those who take it have no chance at salvation. It's strongly correlated with conscious worship of the Antichrist, so it's not like those who take the Mark don't know what they're doing. See Revelation 14:9-11.
Anyone who doesn't take the Mark and survives the Tribulation (presumably) gets to live into the Millenium, although at some point they'll have to make the same decision to accept Christ as Lord just like we do now.
Thank you for asking this!!! I have been struggling to understand, myself. Some people say we’re in the end times. Others say there is a plan and the great awakening is part of it. But the end times describes a one-world government. The great awakening and the plan (Q) will totally “halt” a one-world government. And thus, the end times. I see lots of evidence of both sides and cannot determine what to make of it. Will we defeat the global elites? Or is Jesus’ return impending?
These are certainly questions I have been asking myself. We can see a plan to thwart the evil of this world, the World Economic Forum, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Rockefeller Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation... it's all one incestuous cluster-F and these evildoers all belong to the same groups. This is the New World Order that we are fighting. John wrote of the future that Jesus revealed to him, but in writing Revelation, John ended up revealing a blueprint to evildoers (and we certainly see their machinations at work these days more clearly than we did in the '80s when my Baptist church was showing videos of end times teenagers facing the guillotine to scare people), but by also writing the book he exposed how the evil will transpire and for the righteous to identify it. This may not be popular here, but I definitely see cryptocurrency, which is not gold-backed and only backed on wishful thinking and nothing tangible whatsoever, falling right in line with a chip in the hand or forehead. If we know what to look for, we can thwart these evil machinations.
As it is though, politicians who claim to care for the environment claim that cow farts cause tornadoes and look the other way while tons of masks choke our oceans, chemicals in the water are literally turning the frickin' frogs gay, and plastic pollution in the name of convenience is driving sperm counts low and damaging baby boys in the womb. And now these doom shots are wrecking fertility for both men and women. I do not see how the human race can continue much further this century unless something divine and powerful happens to intervene.
Biblically a falling away is prophesied. It is sad to see those who's faith deconstructs. The gate is narrow to Salvation and Satan has been hard at work infiltrating our churches and teaching lies. My best advice is get in the Word everyday and pray. The Bible is God's love story to us. His guide back into a relationship with Him which is the meaning of this life we live. I pray for the lost continually, that someone speaks into their life and shows them the Hope of Christ. Amen.
I grew up atheist. the Bible played a significant but relatively minor role in my development. The majority of my worldview comes from other sources, though i don't think i would have found them without the help of the Bible.
Ask yourself... Why would the Bible not answer all these questions explicitly? The answer is important.
If the Bible were any different, society would be different as well. That means it says exactly what it needs to say... A movie is not effective when you've read spoilers. it is most effective when Act 2 leaves you feeling like there is no hope.
The great awakening is a normal and natural part of the evolution of consciousness. A graduation from a belief in duality into the knowledge that all is one, and we are all part of that one, so that to help another is to help yourself, and to hurt another is to hurt oneself.
Sprititual awakening will lead to political reform for the better. We are moving up in conciousness across the globe. That which the cabal dont want to happen, they want non-thinking debt slaves. The spirit cannot be stopped and neither can god.
The devil loves to test our faith in God. Jesus was taken up for 40 days to be tempted yet he was without sin (broken fellowship or separation from God is sin) everything else are the things that either enhance our fellowship with God or harm it.
Much of which people label sin. In fact, the thing that may ruin you may not ruin me.
Was he without sin because he was Jesus or because he didn't break fellowship? The latter. And the reason was twofold. One, he had to be tempted In all things to identify with those whom he saves, and two he demonstrated to us all how to operate the power God gave to us. This was all done by His freedom of will same as us. He could have refused nut because of his love for rhe Father he obeyed unto death.
How did Jesus Christ withstand temptation? When tempted by Satan, Jesus always hit back with "for it is written " and the appropriate portion of the Word of Truth that would address the issue.
SteveTheFish never doubt your faith my friend. For Christ is closer than you think. Whom do you think is literally behind Q’s perfect 6-7 years future intel/info? It’s not all Game and String Theory my friend.
Thanks for the encouragement, Brent. I'm anxious to see this through to the end, but the patience is just wearing on me. And my heart breaks for my loved ones who have gone down dark paths.
The great awakening/ great reset is part of the return of Christ. I believe it will be the Antichrist that pulls us back from the precipice. The antichrist will be seen as a hero for the world.
"Let no one deceive you in any way, because it [the day of the Lord] will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition (2 Thess. 2:3)."
"Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth (Lk. 18:8)."
Funny that you say the elite are trying to bring about the end of the world when its our side that wants isreal to succeed because its proof of the fulfillment of prophesy regarding the nearing of Jesus' Second Coming.
A fuck ton of people here are literally trying to bring about the end of times.
You were very honest. Thank you. I wish I can protect all the love they made it very clear recently that I do not have a say. Wait till I give a fk. This world is wierd.
Human trafficking will be revealed. Peace will break out and the world will fall in love with it (the promise of peace). Chipping will be a grand solution for "never again." People will be so in love with peace, they will hate those who hold on to Jesus as the Source. Jesus as the only point for remission for sin is what needs to change for world peace, it will come down to many needing to comprise to fulfill the world's promise of peace.
Christ Jesus won't be let go by some, probably at least 3%. They'll be culled out in some way. Jesus Christ will remain as a cultural token for those programmed to His name, and ignorant of who the Christ really is.
Great Awakening is ultimately about the rape, murder, and harvesting of children imo. It’s the one subject that normies would rather turn a blind eye too rather than face an uneasy topic of discussion. Nothing will change until that kind of evil in the world is ridden.
Walk in peace. God Bless
Well said, this is almost exactly what I believe/ feel.
The only plan I trust is Jesus Christ.
I do not believe this is the end. The world has been here before. There is a dividing for sure. Believer from unbeliever the only two categories that God sees.
"Choose you this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord".
This is the only choice anybody is facing today.
Do I get on the Ark? Or is Noah just a fool?
Agree, there is no sense knowledge solution.
God can not be tempted. Neither tempted he any man.
God isn't testing you, the devil is and you passed.
You drew near to Him and asked our loving Father for help and He being faithful to All his promises provided because you believed. Well done Sister.
Have a look at Julie Green Ministries on Rumble, she can give you what you need much better than I can.
Wow, thanks! I've never heard of her before. Just looking at some video topics, this is interesting.
Thank you for this!!! So this goes into project blue beam it sounds like.
That would be cool. We could call ourselves Christfags.win or something. lol
@stevethefish76
Oof! My heart aches for you, friend. I can hear your loneliness and the edge of despair.
First - this isn't a replacement for in person relationships, but getting some strong Biblical teaching in your life right now will help you orient quickly and confidently - it will also take the edge off of feeling alone.
Check out Jack Hibbs, who teaches at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills - https://calvarycch.org/sermons/
Additionally they have a youtube channel where you can see other sermon series and get other little lessons of encouragement - https://www.youtube.com/@RealLifeJackHibbs/videos
You asked if all of this is Inevitable. Yes.
Luke 21:35-36 Matthew 24:36-51 1 Thessalonians 1:10 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8 Revelation 3:10

Thanks.
Alright, lets look through Matthew 24.
Here's an article that breaks down Daniel, specifically rebutting the theory that Antiochus IV already fulfilled Daniel:
https://www.barrysetterfield.org/Daniel%208/Daniel8.html

Yes, thank you very much for sharing. I appreciate it.
Prophecy is an area that most Christians do not agree on.
https://www.scripturerevealed.com/prophecy/the-last-days-of-what/
It fits into nobody prophecy if you understand that they used similar, but different he jargon back then.
Terms like:
-The resurrection (second resurrection)
-Staying awake
-Do not sleep like others (npcs)
-The sleep of death
-Catching up aka rapture
-If thine eye be single
-Follow the man bearing the pitcher of water
-Christ transfiguration and ascension
-Baptism in fire
-The crown given to us in revelation (enlightenment)
-The 7 burning lamps, seals, bowls, churches (chakras)
-The entire book of revelation being ONLY about self awakening into "Christ consciousness" aka "the revelation of Jesus Christ"
The list goes on and on.
I appreciate you posting this. Very heart felt. You are not alone.
Thank you so much. I've cried every day for two months already now.
Jesus resisted with the Word of God. We can too.
I hope so. Because if you’ve previously read my Q-Theory, then you’ll be around to meet Christ in person if holds true.
I usually get a lift in mood from JULIE GREEN MINISTRIES on Telegram.
t.me/JULIEGREENMINISTRIES.
Wishing you well fren.
You've made some good points. But with the plummeting sperm counts, I cannot see humanity lasting another 200-300 years...
Sounds like we're getting there.

Depends on where. Europe and the Americas? Spiritual as well as political. In many other places it’ll be less spiritual.
This world is wierd.
it is good. Really good!
Armageddon = the unveiling of truth.
Post-millennialism dates back to the earliest Christian writings and saw humanity ushered into the millennial reign of Christ.
Higher Consciousness is closer than we know 💕 Love and Light your Way 💕
Great Awakening is ultimately about the rape, murder, and harvesting of children imo. It’s the one subject that normies would rather turn a blind eye too rather than face an uneasy topic of discussion. Nothing will change until that kind of evil in the world is ridden.
