My take away here is not so much about who is killing and who is dying, it is the technology being deployed. The drones, thermal vision and rockets/missiles. Everyone should be paying very close attention. Regardless of which side of a conflict you are on, the tactics of battle have evolved. If we ever have to defend ourselves, this is very similar to what we may be up against. The senseless loss of life seems inevitable for humanity, at this point, but perhaps one day it will be nothing more than a tragic memory. Until then, prepare. War is stupid, unless you are defending yourselves and your loved ones, then it makes perfect sense.
