Now it's happening way too often. I wonder if any of the train derailments are being caused by an increase in 'sudden' medical problems.

But all it takes is being in the wrong place at the exact wrong time and suddenly someone is about to hit you head on or running you and your dogs over on the sidewalk.
Stores and restaurants crying for help—understaffed everywhere. Tons of jobs that require no degree or high skill—just work ethic, empty, and being filled by “ healthy retirees” or not at all.

This is absolutely correct. My sister owns a few fast food stores and in the past few years her entire staff switched from teenagers to retirees. Kids won't work for any amount, it doesn't seem worthwhile for them.
