They put out family friendly music. Their most recent singles "Sneakers" and "Boys Like You" have very upbeat, feminine sounds and were massively succesful in Korea (their best selling yet) but western fans HATE the songs and make up stories of how miserable the group members are and how they hate performing the songs too
Boys Like You has a good message of not dating just anyone and not having sex casually. Sneakers is about being motivated, staying active, and pursuing your goals.
Yet the American fanbase rallies against and says horrible thing about the songs and the girls..
Another good example is go on youtube, there are so many videos of American fans accusing Koreans of "appropriating" black culture just because rapping or urban elements are often part of music...However, when Korean groups stick to more traditionally Asian style electronica or bubblegum pop, these same fans will brigade them and say they are failures.
This is a big reason why so many Korean artists will work in Japan more than the US. Less politics, more focus on the music, and less drama overall. Twice (what this thread is about) is massively succesful in Japan as a result. No coincidence she wore a Q shirt since Japam does have a good Q movement
TEDDY (their producer) likes that sound. Funny because he doesn't do it to his other artist (for example Jeon Somi..he gives her some great songs compared to what he gives BP)
But like clockwork every single BP has the same rhythm section and the same middle eastern synths, it really is funny
Obviously if you prefer singer songwriter music or grunge it won't be your thing but if you love pure pop many of their songs are master classes in production and sound
I would like to warn people commenting under this post to keep the comments solely about the shirt or about the stylists.
Edit: If anyone finds a comment under this post which is trying to spread misinformation, instigate fighting amongst users or deviating from the two topics I mentioned above. Please use the report button. The thread is now too big to manually sift through everything, I'll still try to keep an eye out but your help will be key.
Here are some favorites off the top of my head, covering most of their different styles

From their new album, while the lead single is really bad (Moonlight Sunrise, did not even chart in Korea) the B sides are really good especially Wallflower
And if you wanna get to know the girls..the cutest video on the internet ever
Eh, don't be so sure about that. A lot of them are faking it. I know a nurse that works for a dr that makes private calls to celebs. A lot of them avoided it, hopefully its not the ones that publicly advocate for it.
Koreans are hugely into plastic surgery, everyone is unhappy with their natural looks. It's totally normal for teenagers to get all sorts of plastic surgery for their birthdays. It's really sad. They're kind of vapid, they like the plastic look. Image is everything in their world.
Everything you said is accurate. I lived there for 2 years about a decade ago.
It was strange getting on the subway with advertisements of before/after pics from plastic surgeons everywhere.
Koreans should be proud of some aspects of how fast they recovered from the war. Work hard and are smart. But very materialistic and vain to the point where it's pretty annoying.
The funniest are the ones that got that eye surgery, and their surgeon definitely fucked up. Lookin like a fish with HUGE eyes.
Here's what my son, who is a YUUUGE K-Pop fan is saying about the K-Pop groups.
"So, basically it's like this: K-Pop groups are heavily controlled in that they don't pick their own outfits, their dance moves are chosen for them, and most of the time, their music and lyrics are chosen for them, as well. SOMEONE picked that outfit for her specifically to wear for those very sp civic moments in time. Could've been the designer, or could've been a music label exec. But it's clear someone with knowledge of Q is behind this. If you watch her performance, she's fron and center in stage singing her ENGLISH lines "All eyes on me," and "Come on set me free." Then she goes into the song'ssignature dance move: a wrist lock/unlock move to symbolize the breaking of chains."
My son said he's "shook and quaking" that this came out. It's either complete and total unawareness on the various decision makers parts, OR, this is NOT a coincidence. Since this is her second time wearing a Q related shirt, and it's a high quality shirt specifically made to fit her and her alone, it's safe to assume she or her group is/are being used as a conduit of communication.
Here's the video OP's pic is from. I've paused it at the point Chae-young is doing her thing, but if it starts at the beginning, go to 1:50.
It is CLEAR to us that there's something way more going on here. No one in the entertainment industry highlights an association with Q or the Anons without full well knowing that career suicide is coming for them. And with Reddit's reaction, it's also CLEAR that this is something [they] don't want catching on. ESPECIALLY with the world wide ranging reach of K-Pop or Twice.
Whatever you think about this, there is DEFINITELY something going on behind the scenes in Asia. Whether the reddiots want to admit it or not.
Son Chae-young (Korean: ģģ±ģ; born April 23, 1999)
She's known as "Chaeyoung" from girl group Twice. Apparently she's performed on stage twice in Q shirts.
Getting the youth used to seeing it. Maybe some sort of subconscious conditioning like the cabal does, only this time is for good not evil.
She probably visits this forum.
So, my son who's a huge K-Pop fan said their newest song is titled, "Set Me Free."
Interesting. Very very interesting
So is the whole anti-Q Kpop astroturf Twitter op done?
I remember the headlines. "BTS beat Qanon at their own game, lulz!" As if. My daughter hates BTS. She calls them "LGBTS." Lol.

The tempter tantrums about this online are freaking hilarious!
Yeah American fans are all cucks. They do not get or understand Korean culture at all
I gather not just American but western world soy consuming limp wristed faggots. Iād warrant a fair few of them in Australia too.
Explain please.
One example is the group Itzy.
They put out family friendly music. Their most recent singles "Sneakers" and "Boys Like You" have very upbeat, feminine sounds and were massively succesful in Korea (their best selling yet) but western fans HATE the songs and make up stories of how miserable the group members are and how they hate performing the songs too

I wouldn't put too much stock in what fat, lazy, reality-television watching Americans say.
I like checking in with Baby Metal now and again. Got turnd on to them almot 10 years ago. They're Good.
I saw them live once, very fun
If you crave more Japanese girl does rock. Check out Roselia from the Bang Dream franchise
https://youtu.be/0AG9EO7vpnE
Probably one of my favorite songs ever
I love BABYMETAL.
Kpop just leveled up in my mind. Still too bubblegum for me, but nice to see popular groups showing how to do it right.
Lots of good Japanese and South Korean musicians and groups, they're just not often the biggest ones in the west
Check out Dreamcatcher, Kard, or G-idle. Their sounds are generally more mature.
Black Pink is a major appropriation thoughā¦. Itās kind of funny.
TEDDY (their producer) likes that sound. Funny because he doesn't do it to his other artist (for example Jeon Somi..he gives her some great songs compared to what he gives BP)

Id love to find out more about the producer teddy.
Not all fans. My son's a huge fan of K-Pop and is also an anon.
Explain please
QT
Omg Twice
I am a ONCE (what twice fans are called)
My wife loves them too
This is amazing
Where we go one, we go all! It really is true
I hope Twice don't get backlash..but reddit is a raindrop in the ocean that is the worldwide Kpop fandom
For someone who wants to hear an excellent example of them

Last Waltz
Obviously if you prefer singer songwriter music or grunge it won't be your thing but if you love pure pop many of their songs are master classes in production and sound
Twice is fantastic, although I wish it was Momo or Sana wearing this. š
I hope we see more of this, esp from my favorite group: Dreamcatcher.
I think as the world wakes up we will definitely see it more
The twice reddit thread is hilarious
https://www.reddit.com/r/twice/comments/11uj5dj/did_they_really_just_put_chaeyoung_in_a_qanon/
They locked it before anons could set the record straight
Lol they're so stupid and it's hilarious
Mods are scared.
So much wasted energy...
Not gonna lie, TT gets stuck in my head a lot. Twice is very catchy. Maybe I should check out more of their music like this.
TT is one of their best

Locked but still good lols
"I'm pretty convinced their stylists don't know English at all."
LMAO, yeah it was just a mistake!
K-Pop is secure, patriots are in control
I hope so, but I was bummed finding out so many of the idols had been vaxxed.
Eh, don't be so sure about that. A lot of them are faking it. I know a nurse that works for a dr that makes private calls to celebs. A lot of them avoided it, hopefully its not the ones that publicly advocate for it.
This is so cool! I LOVE Twice! They were a big part of my gateway into K-pop during the pandemic.
Their new mini album is fire, too.
Good Lord. I'm awfully glad she's based, because I'd hate to think of someone like her being a tool of the Deep State.
Qte enough.
HAH
this is awesome! new music to listen to now :)
For girl groups: Dreamcatcher, G-idle, Mamamoo, Red Velvet, 3YE, AOA, 4Minute... so many, lol.
For guy groups: Exo, Monsta X, Ateez, AB6IX
The only coed group: Kard
Kpop and Korean culture are victims of the inversion from the satanists.
If you look at the dudes, they all wear real makeup and act like girls. It's strange and it's the style in Korea.
The blending of genders.
Koreans are hugely into plastic surgery, everyone is unhappy with their natural looks. It's totally normal for teenagers to get all sorts of plastic surgery for their birthdays. It's really sad. They're kind of vapid, they like the plastic look. Image is everything in their world.

I like TWICE
Horrible music, but I'm diggin' the shirt!
yeah well that's just like your opinion man
well, yea, it is.
I can appreciate this even though the closest I will ever get to K-pop is liking some Kawai metal...
Say who?
