Not sure what the significance/connection is, but one of the lakes in the Finger Lakes region is Seneca Lake. Hunter Biden has a tattoo of the Finger Lakes on his back. He also has a company called Rosemont Seneca. Wonder if there is a connection there.
And one called Owasco.

Horseheads is technically southern tier ny not finger lakes. I wish I had some good info on the area, there's the military barge in the middle of Seneca lake that's pretty secretive. Also old salt mines. Really no signs of activity going on from the surface that i know of in those tunnels but have heard rumors they go under Seneca lake. Plenty of mil helicopter traffic that doesn't show on the radar sites. And of course lots of extremely expensive lake front properties going around all those miles of lakes. Some celebrities have property there john Travolta comes to mind
While I think weird stuff happens in this region, I don’t think this “royal moose fraternity” is part of it. Checked out their website and Facebook and it seems innocent enough.
I'm a card carrying member of the Moose. They're a charitable organization and after 15 years you can qualify to retire at MooseHaven. Which is just across the river from me now. Also, great beer specials, trivia, a pool, and billiards.
