They'll tell you that they have researched it as well! It means they half-read one or two MSM articles.
You give them too much credit. I was going to say parrot a few headlines.
the dumbest part is when they send you an article, and you show them in the exact same article where it says the exact opposite of the point they're trying to make.
Lol my mom says I "have an unfair advantage" because I did a lot of research if we debate on something, but still insists she is right (on topics like the vaccine, for example).
My father - a research statistician- once yelled at me to stop “jamming facts down his throat”.
There really isnt anything new with this. There havealways been people that want to be seen as the smartest person in the room but have no real edjucation or understanding about something. Social media just gave them a place to promote their BS and now we have millions of people that think "this most likely could be right" is the same as "factually proven to be accurate"
Well.. that and add in fake "points" and an easily manipulated "vote" system and now you have Chomsky's delight. The instant digital manufacturing of consent.
Once upon a time we told those kinds of ppl that they were "talking out of their asses." Let's go back to that. Or is it a hate crime...?
I just love this place!
they use their emotions, that should be as good as or even better than facts. /s
Depending on the topic, friends that have known me for years...
Them: that's not true
Me: there is evidence that it is true. Have you researched this?
Them: no, but that can't be true
Me: how long have you known me? Do I pull something like this out of my ass and not be able to back it up?
Them: I don't want to talk about it
Me: okie dokie
Then, a month or so later they'll say, "wow, did you know...?"
At this point, I'm glad that they see the info and then we can discuss further.
I think that is critical- you don't beat people up. You plant the seed. It is not a sin to not be ready to face something that is hard.
Plus, I like the fact you point out you have established trust in the relationship- but then you leave it there. You don't manipulate the trust.
Thanks fren. I really appreciate that.
I used to be like this. Indoctrination is real. History channel isn’t.
The problem is that people do think they have researched things....because all the giant corporate news outlets and hip tech companies have annointed themselves as the unquestionable source of truth and they all back each other up. So they will quote the elite outlets like how dare anyone believe any information that didn't come from something high tech and shiny.
Came here to say basically this. Lots of normies can't tell the difference between propaganda and research.
Nice
So true.

...couldn't resist. x3
I've said it before, but I need GAW as a reminder that I'm not alone. The deep-state programmed hypnosis all around me is deeply entrenched (apart from GAW there are a few exceptions but very few).
I'm starting to think exploiting pride in one's "intelligence" is the most effective arrow in the cabal's evil quiver.
It really only gives proof to things like mass hysteria. It also gives insight in how we are all easily tired so we give in. Many do. Not all.
Even in some cases we could be seeing mass possession.
For many the courage required to go against their families and such is to great. This all leads to pride and a lose tongue of deception. Some knowingly and some useful idiots.
It is better to give than it is to take — serving people is the greatest way for lots of these people to overcome this evil. Yet serving people requires work and we know they hate to work. Haha
Steve Kirsch is having Mattis Desmet on his program today. Holy moly, there are people really invested in the argument in the comments. Is Desmet right/wrong? I tend to think he is onto something, but what seems to be missing from some of the arguments is the point that it is okay to question and disagree - in fact that is a good thing. But you get people who are so invested in NO YOU ARE WRONG, shaking fingers that you look at the exchange and think "uh, you are proving his point."
On to something. 2+2=4 so does 10-6 and many ways to get to 4, but when one is saying 1+1=4 and they are a figure and we’ll known. This is the time to say 1+1 is not equal to 4. So saying -you are wrong- is correct.
If a guy says he is lgbtq+ that equals mental illness. Sure can make mental illness the authority and let it decide commonplace, but it will fail in disaster or we can let them be mental illness patients. Eventually that mentality will end. It is not self preservative.
But
If a church says lgbtq+ and this church claims Christianity—we can tell that church -you are wrong-
I am not perfect but to tell others they are perfect and they are not is evil too.
People like to claim political views are different and that too is a lie.
Can an atheists be a politician- yep. Can a atheist have morals and be a patriot- yep.
So can a Christian.
These evil people believe they are perfect and above all others who do not bow to them… I say to them - you are wrong- ;)
Interesting point on individuals vs. Institutions. Ironically, the concept if insanity is not a medical term - it's a legal one.
Insanity from Einsteins perspective is doing the the same thing over and over expecting different results.
Mental illness is different.
Yes definitions matter. The scary part is when we define things that are really just personal choices as mental illnesses and demand an outcome.
From these loonie leftists they want people who refuse to shop at target defined as terrorists. They will say you are insane and have a mental illness because you will not shop at target.
In their world, they are right. They are of sound mind to themselves. It is when we say to them they are wrong and we have our constitutional rights couple with God. They do not stand a chance.
The thing with evil is you might know a democratic person who says to you that if you do not want to shop at target that is your choice. Yet they do not tell their cohorts this all while telling you that you are a conspiracy theorist.
It is all the same evil. We call it seeing.
At the end of WW2 did they not march all those that said the same in front of the evil they were protecting? Some protect evil knowingly and others unknowingly.
The ones who do it knowingly are very dangerous and will receive a greater punishment.
What has been done to the western society and USA is a very well thought out plan of sanity. Some want the same results when they do things over and over.
Does the USA have that little bit of rebellion required to defeat this evil? I look at those who go against evil as true rebels. My definition of evil is simple. Anyone who hurts children are evil beasts. To proactively push for abortion without consequences of the actions is evil.
A culture was cultivated that emphasizes being correct over all else, and you can't be wrong because some authority told you that you were right, and if you're wrong then everything you believe is a lie and that is hard to reconcile.
People believe they're more intelligent than they are, and this creates its own problems too. It's fine (and expected) to substitute education with intelligence, but not at the cost of confusing them as being the same thing. People desperately want to be "right" because being "wrong" is stigmatized so harshly.
I also believe that, in part, there is a lack of humility amongst humans nowadays, at least outspoken ones. To be humble is considered weakness, and to admit being wrong is a manifestation of that weakness -- and people want to pretend to be strong.
That is a really good point about the stigma of being wrong.
Humility is knowing you are right and giving the enemy a chance to repent. It is a strength.
Yes lots been taught this is a sign of weakness. But these same also think haste is a strength too.
Wisdom (intelligence) says haste makes waste.
Rush called it the drive by media for a reason. The media makes us accept waste as truth.
In the Bible Paul (Saul) — Saul approved of killing Stephen, Stephen fell to his knees and essentially said the same as Jesus did on the cross. Later Saul became Paul and said he died daily.
Some do not want to see but they have no choice. Some want to desperately be wrong but they are right.
Very sad thing to see in our culture right now. They are proactively cultivating terrorists against good and these terrorists to themselves are knights.
God (Jesus) is only on one side and that doesn’t mean we will be kind to them when enough is enough. It means we have allowed the torment for so long and they still refuse to repent.
This is why the meek inherit the earth. It takes patience.
