There is almost no business application where a gaming laptop wouldn't do the job just as well as some "professional" looking MacBook.
I'm sure someone will try and criticize this just like they criticized that submarine guy for using a game pad. The problem wasn't that he used a game pad it was that he used a $30 gamepad instead of a $130 one. (And almost everything else about his design of course) (assuming this even was a real sub that did sink and not one big psyop) Not sure why I needed to rant about that, but enjoy.
I have a gaming laptop for my graphic design business specifically for the super speed processor, massive RAM, terabytes of storage and the amazing graphics card. I prefer Mac but this gaming Lenovo laptop runs all the Adobe Creative Suite apps at the same time, 30 website windows, skype, zoom, and multitudes of other things without missing a beat.

You are either gaming/graphics superstar or your machine settings are killing you... I had to do a lot with windows and "antivirus" and other junk they preload before mine would settle down. I had one that lasted many years until earlier this year when I got a new one, and found how to start it off without creating a Microsoft account. Yuge difference.
Fan blows full blast even from cold startup with nothing running. I have either uninstalled or turned off every bit of bloatware I can find, but I’m not tech savvy enough to find out if it’s some arcane config deep down in the settings below what I’m comfortable tinkering with, or a flaw with the motherboard (broken/ loose pin) like other people have told been told online when they asked about the same problem, but since they’re calling the model “Zephyrus”, I’m assuming it’s intentional

Anyway, try looking up heat or temperature control settings online- there should be a system setting that you either get to inside the Asus management software, or worst case by hitting F11 when it's booting up. Can't recall off the top of my head but there's a way to monitor and decide how it handles fan and heat.
I can't make those changes to my work computer, which tries to take off like a drone at bootup, so I point the AC vent at it and have a desk fan, and wind up wearing a hoodie in my own dang house. It will still shut down for overheating sometimes when the antivirus runs. I don't even store work files on it- we're virtual. It's all windows bloat that I can't touch. SMDH

While doing jury duty at the court house, I was eating in the cafeteria and overheard a lawyer nearby talking to his client on the phone. He stated he was currently working hard on his case and that everything was looking good. As I walked past the attorney to throw away my trash, I looked over and saw him playing the submarine simulator Silent Hunter. Lol.
