It seems as though nothing awakens them from their stupor -- not war, not abuse of children, not skyrocketing inflation, not corruption -- nothing seems to phase them. There really seems to be no way to fix stupid.

Stupid people are not the problem. I've know stupid people who make very good decisions and smart people that don't.
I know a guy at work who's dumb as rocks, but he doesn't smoke or drink or do drugs or borrow money. He has faith in God and he enjoys life. Their are plenty of very smart people who do all of those things, and are miserable.
Wisdom is the key.
I've seen dumb people ask for advice, and then listen to it and do it, and are much better off. And I've seen plenty of smart people know what is right and what to do, but do not do it, myself included.

IMO we’ve already outnumbered them by far.
It’s true, though, that still too many of them seem rigidly unmovable in their (willful) ignorance. It’s a very strong combination of factors that keep them firmly bound in their mind prisons including debilitating fear, low self-esteem (in many cases) and ego. When, for example, a war is halfway across the world they’re content to ignore it, but when the evils begin to creep in to their neighborhoods it starts to become more real.
Some, at least, in my experience, are starting to feel very uncomfortable as this living nightmare continues. They know the ground feels shaky, that they’re sensing a foreboding, a tiny but growing dread, a storm engulfing their carefully-crafted false reality. This unease is only going to deepen and get more pronounced.
I do wish I saw more of what you just described. But it's always unicorns and rainbows here amongst the bluetards blithely living their lives here in the People's Republic of Northern Virginia. We're not in a situation to do so right now...but we are fleeing this God-forsaken plain in the next year or two.

I suspect for the younger “bluetards” (I like that moniker, btw) that their rainbow unicorn may very well be about to impale them in their arses if the Potatus and bloodthirsty marxists who appear to be controlling the USA Corporation decree a military draft. They won’t sit up and pay attention until and unless it affects them personally. Harsh realities have a way of slapping some sense into even the most obstinate of individuals.
Very best of luck in your plans to find a new location with a healthier environment. It’s going to take a long time to clean out the rot even after the beasts are removed from controlling positions, imo, but eventually I’m hoping those who left their beloved homes due to unfortunate circumstances like this can return to find greener pastures if that’s their preference.

Yes, after a lifetime of trying to reason with these bluetards (in my experience, a largely futile exercise), tolerating them and, in some cases, disengaging from them completely, we now get to suffer through what will be the Mother-of-All-Storms. If, God willing, I’m destined to survive the coming MOAS, it will be fascinating, in retrospect, I’m sure, to analyze all that occurred.
In any case I’ve taken to pondering just what lesson I’m supposed to be gleaning from all this, what God wants me to learn and/or do, how He wants me to grow. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not looking forward to the MOAS, but want to get on with it as the sooner we get into it, the sooner, God willing, we’ll get through it and out of it.
That's a great point. I've been praying more increasingly for discernment. I'm always afraid that I'm going to buy into or believe the wrong thing, especially based on emotion. (And I CAN get emotional.) We're not called to live or react like that. In any event...your words are soothing and a good and constant reminder, so TY again for that!

I think many will go full ostrich at that point because facing reality is nigh impossible for people who, in general, refuse to take responsibility for their own words and actions.

Yeah, I think you're right...sadly. So many have a carefully-constructed and controlled reality bubble that when it shatters -- and it WILL -- they have zero coping skills. Not only that, but most of them don't have faith (in ANY thing, let alone God/Jesus), and they have no moral compass, because all of their truths are relative. What a horrendous existence that must be.

It was intended to be a hand up. It turned into a handout. It needs eliminated because it's unsavable in its current state. Doesn't mean something cannot be put in place to help those that actually need it. For instance WIC used to be a great thing. Bags of healthy food from local farmers were handed out. I believe that program has been warped as well though.
We are the stupid ones. How many Dominion machines are still being used in the elections? So much smoke and fury, so much fist shaking anger but what was done about the stolen elections? Did Kari Lake win her case in AZ? Were any of the battleground states reversed? Did any election case make it to the Supreme Court? Unless and until these machines are buried in landfills nothing will change. It's not the stupid people voting it's the machines that can be programmed like the slots in Vegas causing the problems.

I think the problem is that many people just do not believe what we are trying to show them. Until we can get rid of the deep state propaganda, this will continue. But Trump seems committed to getting rid of the deep state, so I'm pretty sure removing the propaganda machine is a major part of the plan. Perhaps something like campaign finance where the media cannot get outside monies, They can only use the money they themselves generate.
