As far as I understand it, certain elements of the WEF operation is to 'designate' - unilaterally - and 'award' certain individuals they target as 'leaders'. It's supposed to be like an 'honor' but is certainly more likely an operation to curry favor, try to get in and lure potential instruments in to their system.

I was once with an NGO organization that would award a certain title to certain leaders in society, both as 'recognition' for their position and role, but also with the motivation to inspire them to join with and work with the organization to achieve its goals.
Point is, the fact that someone is listed on or somehow 'connected' with the WEF is not, in itself, necessarily evidence that there is collaboration or unity with the WEF agenda. WEF is like a large, catchment operation designed to identify and lure in potential minions who could potentially participate in the global slavery system.
Anyone worth their salt on the international or national stage would be, at some point, be a potential target in their sights.
