The paste is great for poison ivy. Dried it up instantly and the inching stops almost immediately.
Great for dogs on a hot-spot too.

Would it work the same on cold sores? I've used poison ivy treatment on one and it worked better than anything else. I would assume Ivermectin would work just as well, eh?

Lysine is effective against viruses that cause cold sores.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 6 ▼
– TinkAnon 6 points 1 year ago +6 / -0

Cold sores are the result of a virus. If you supplement with zinc & vitamin D & quecertin regularly your experience should lessen. IVM like quecertin and turmeric (according to Dr. McCullough) helps get zinc into the virus & kills it. Zinc can’t bust through on its own. Vitamin D boosts the overall process & strengthens your immune system. Why do you think Bill Gates wanted to block out the sun?

– moodyblue 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

St John's wort is a great antiviral. When I take it regularly I don't get cold soars or sun poison (basically the same thing caused by something different). Be wary of it if on any medication it interacts with about 300 RX. Mostly it keeps meds from being effective. Lemon balm helps healing faster. I use a salve made from an oil made from lemon balm.

Picked up 2 tubes yesterday, and that's about 16 doses for $20. $9.99 per tube, Tractor Supply.

But here's another great reason! "A man has died with tumours made of cancerous parasitic worm tissue growing in his organs, doctors report."

Do you just eat it? Been wanting to try some ivermectin after I got sick a few years back and haven’t been the same since

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 10 ▼
– Retaining_H2O 10 points 1 year ago +10 / -0

Don't just eat it. It gets all over your teeth and tongue... big regrets.

Take the syringe and squeeze 6 small dose lines onto wax paper or a plastic plate. Put it in the freezer for an hour to freeze, then store the frozen ivermectin doses in a baggie in freezer.

When needed, take one and swallow it. Easy, no taste, no mess.

Another way is get a small bag of bite size Reese Peanut Butter Cups. Inject a dose of ivermectin into each. When needed, just pop one into your mouth, few bites and swallow. No bad taste, no issues. Also works with chocolate covered cherries.

I just got some. If you get it for your horse, you just turn the dial on the dispenser to the horses weight (each click is for 50lbs) and then dispense it into the horses mouth.

Each notch on the syringe is 50 lbs. You don't want to underdose. I get the apple flavored. Its a thick gel that dispenses like toothpaste. You do not, I repeat, you do not want this swishing or squishing around in your mouth. You want to swallow it, not eat it. Its bitter still and a texture that will stick to ur teeth and end up being a much longer ordeal than necessary.

I dispense onto the end of a butter knife, it's about the size and shape of a capsule. I place it on the back of my tongue, where you try to get pills to land when you tilt your back taking them. Again, try not to spread it around, and the drink will wash it down whole, like a capsule. Very little taste, doesn't coat your mouth. Have fun! Editing to add, have a chaser handy!

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– AngelCole 4 points 1 year ago +4 / -0

I put mine in flavored yogurt which help to mask the bitter taste.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Awake45 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

I have the apple one as well and have taken it several times. Yes, very bitter. I now take it exactly as you described, placing it on back of tongue and gulping it down with water, typically followed by a little peanut butter or something to mask any remnants of the extremely bitter taste.

▲ 4 ▼
– Jeb_Anon 4 points 1 year ago +4 / -0

Horses hate the stuff because it is bitter!! I had always wondered why my horses tried to "spit" it out when I didn't get it far enough in the back of their mouth. Now that I have taken it, I understand how nasty it is!

▲ 2 ▼
– drakus 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

Oh, I'll grant you that it's not the most pleasant taste or consitency. :) On the other hand, I'm grateful for its healing properties. I do believe it's lessened the effects of various "crap" on at least two occasions over the past year.

Reynoldmeds.com sells pill version. Cheapest is to buy the 12 mg and use a pill splitter if you need 6 or 18 mg (instead of taking one or three 6 mg pills). We had a doctor prescribe the correct dosage for each of us.

To each his own,Sorry but i cannot on this public platform say that animal ivermectin is safe for human consumption,I can say this though,I slept at a Holiday Inn last night , and between me and my wife getting a Homeopathic phone consultation and two scripts for ivermectin and the list of supplements to take and how much, it cost us around $700 bucks,we were in panic mode to get it and were told not to take the animal formulas. and before this shit was penny's on the pill, welcome to CAPITALISM.

There is no such thing as "animal" or "human" ivermectin. There is ivermectin with species-appropriate additives.

There is ivermectin marketed for the cat. There is ivermectin marketed for the horse: it has apple flavor. There is ivermectin for the people: it has a higher price tag.

Additives are a whole different ball game.

Doctors have advised how to dose with horse paste. So long as you only take the one that is ivermectin, not with other items. I take 4 to 6 notches and I am 180lb. Never had an issue and you cannot overdose on it.

I agree , I have bought 100’s of pills from Mexico , but I’ve wanted tubes as well ( topical and other reasons ) I bought 4 tubes from 2 different places , problem is they all came with 2 main ingredients written on the box and written on the tubes … ivermectin and something else I forget the name … I’ve heard on here not to use the other ingredient. I’m not sure whether they were out of straight IV and just sent me the other tubes ,, it was when everyone was buying back in 2020 ,, I need to find a place that sells just IV tubes and will not send the combo tubes .

Could it have been ivermectin and Praziquantel? It's another anti-parasite. And it's not useless, it's very valuable. Ivermectun combined with other dewormer/cancer fighters enhance their effect.

Praziquantel is used in humans for an "infection of the urinary tract or bowels, caused by schistosoma (blood fluke)."

"Praziquantel synergistically enhances paclitaxel efficacy to inhibit cancer cell growth" https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23251610/

Here is Skoan Kettering using it against pediatric cancer. https://www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/patient-education/medications/pediatric/praziquantel

You can get plain Ivermectin from any Tractor Supply: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/durvet-ivermectin-paste-187-608-g

Exactly right, no pharmaceutical company wants a suit from an owner of a prized racehorse because said racehorse died or was incapacitated due to bad horse paste. They could give a shit about humans.🙄

Again, if you are able to read, you can check the ingredient list on the box and choose your product accordingly.

BTW, horses being valuable animals, "toxic crap" is not something high on the list of ingredients for feeding your Clydesdale.

I think the video is over the top with the assertion that parasites kill more humans than wars, and I think their examples are all exaggerated.

We do however have parasites just like any other animal, and for the most part like any other animal we survive with them without issues. Where the problems arise is when the body is stressed such as during hard physical exertion. That is when their weakening of the system shows up, and other disease flourishes.

I train racing homers, and when they are failing to perform or failing to gain muscle your first suspect is parasites. I use ivermectin on them and I use ivermectin on my dogs, and myself.

I have the paste, but I don't use it any longer on any of us. It is an emergency fallback only. Why? Not because it is unsafe as many want you to believe. The reason I don't use it is dosage is not as well controlled with the paste as I would like. Even though it would be extremely hard to overdose ivermectin, I still want a more controlled method to give or take it.

As for the pills I don't need a damned doctor. Over ninety percent of them and pharmacists too were screaming it would kill you during covid. I instead use the injectable orally. You can control dosage extremely well. The dose is 1cc to every 110 lbs body weight for people. The dosage for dogs is .1 cc to every 10 lbs body weight. Almost the same as the human dose. You put it on their food for control of heartworm. DO NOT give ivermectin to Collie breeds.

My race birds get two to three drops directly into the mouth. My use of the drug in the homers has convinced me that ivermectin is an extremely effective drug against viruses. In the birds there are two viruses that can kill them if infected in 24 hours or less, adeno and circovirus. I have used ivermectin to stop the deaths when I was able to see the signs early.

Friday morning woke up SICKER than crap and thought Aw Hell the Coof caught up with me. My IVM was 2 years expired, my Hcq was 2 years expired and I suffered through the day. Emailed the Doc and she emailed back Friday evening (yes evening) and told her my expired meds dilemma. She said “take ‘em” and have the wife stop Saturday morning to pic up extra vit d. Sunday morning I am back to normal!! Now my nurse (wife) is sick and she started the full protocol so hopefully this house gets back to normal. As for the paste, my Horse Veterinarian friend absolutely mocked me for asking about the horse paste and Ivm-2 years ago. Showed him the studies and that was the last he ever said anything derogatory!!

Find a compounder near you, most are run by doctors who can prescribe it for you.

I do have a friend who lives next to a Dr who worked for FEMA, he was told by the Dr that the liquid they give to animals is the same thing (Cheaper) and comes from the same manufacturers, but I prefer getting the pills from a reputable pharmacy, I dont mind paying more.

Yes, you can also put it on your skin where it will absorb it if you don't want to ingest it because of the taste. The liquid version will absorb faster.

Just make sure that Ivermectin is the only active ingredient, some pastes have another drug in combination with it. The injectable (liquid) Ivermectin labeled for cattle is much easier to dose by weight and it can be taken orally or absorbed through the skin. It is even cheaper than the horse paste as you get more doses out of it.

The drench type of ivermectin is for external use only as it has other ingredients to kill insects. So be aware!!
