Now this makes a whole lot of sense. I watched a reel last night that had some really strong arguments pointing toward Tucker as his VP pick.
So now we're up to Carlson, Carson, Lake, Ramaswamy, Dewine,...who am I leaving out as Trump's VP

No way does Tucker Carlson accept a VP slot. He doesn't do politics and has said he isn't really interested in politics. He is more interested in people. That on top of the Tucker Carlson Network he is building I see 0% chance it is Tucker.

Disagree. Trump is a big enough man to want to mend fences and reward loyalty. Vivek immediately endorsed Trump. So Trump wanted to reward that and show unity within the party. Also that Vivek may have been losing badly to Trump, but there are people out there who DO support Vivek.
Don't forget elections can often come down to just a few thousand swing votes in a single state. About 15% of the Bernie bros defected and voted for Trump in 2016. That would be about the margin we won by. Trump is smart to not discount Vivek's fans and want to bring them into the fold.

It's really Trump supporters that are most vocal about Vivek's past, and Vivek endorsing Trump is not likely to cause people who already supported Trump to turn away.

Vivek has always been controlled opposition by the Trump party. He was in the race only to take down DeSantis. He played the same role that Chris Christi played eight years ago to take down Marco Rubio for Trump. It’s obvious if you look at it impartially. Never said one nasty thing about Trump, but he was always slandering DeSantis. It was a pretty shrewd move. By the way, that’s why Chris Christi hates Trump. He was hoping to get a spot in Trump‘s cabinet and he never got it.
I could get on board with Vivek working with Trump in that fashion but at this time I find the red flags a bit overwhelming. But I do hope to be wrong
