I've read about 4 studies on Jewish genetics before and the score was 2-2. Whenever a study came out that they weren't descendants of Israelites another study came out and refuted it with their own research.
Now the score is 3-2 to the khazar hypothesis. Watch how quickly a new contesting study comes out.
How do they know the genetics of the ancient Israelites?
Do they dig up and test the ancients remains? Or are they just guessing what they might be.
What standard are they measuring by? How do they get DNA from bones? Are they sure that those bones are a pure blooded Israelite and not an Edomite or philistine?
Or are they testing older markers in the khazar genetics and confirming themselves? In a A Priori manner.
What genetic marker are they looking for? What incontrovertible proof is there that this an Israelite?
When the last temple was destroyed all of the 10 tribes of Israel records were destroyed. Many have no memory of their tribal heritage, therefore, the original Israelites have disappeared. Israel does not allow genetic testing— the people are not from Israel. They are foreigners.
Not only that but after each occupation, Babylonian, Assyrian and eventually Roman and the resulting destruction of Judea the communities of displaced Jews intermarried within the populations where they settled…which further diluted the bloodline.
That's where we did come from before we entered Europe though (600-500BC). The Arabs only took over during the Islamic period (600-700AD). So we cant look at populations now and assume they were always like that. Over 400 years ago whites weren't in America.
Europeans didn't grow on the rocks of the Caucusus mountains we simply passed through them into Europe. The ones that passed through the caucusus the Greeks called Keltoi but there was another group that entered Europe through present day Turkey the Greeks called Cimmeroi.
Even if you don't believe the Biblical belief that we all come from the early mesopatamian culture of Iraq, the secularists accept we came from the early neolithic farmers from the mideast.
Whether we come from the mideast is not the debate, it's when did we come from there into Europe. Secularists say 8000 years ago but historical written records and archaeology (and lack of archaeology in Europe, excluding the mediterranean coastline) say it was 600-500BC.
I don't understand what you are getting at, young_patriot said whites cant be from the mid east so addressed that, now youre arguing when fair skin and eyes developed.
I can't speak to when whiite skin and blue eyes began but I know the Nords also come from the same people that entered into Europe from the Caucusus mountains around 600 BC.
I used the word 'we' as a general term as we Europeans. I'm white skin and blue eyes and I'm not Nordic and my ancestors most likely came to the British Isles from the Mediterranean culture, different from the Keltoi people.
I was only trying to point out that light skin and blue eyes have developed among separate populations at separate times. Therefore "we" ("people with white skin and blue eyes") did not all "come from" there.
I understand your point now, are you Nordic or a descendant of Nordic people? We must of had a distant ancestor, but it could of progressed separately.
Where have you found that the Nords have come from? How did they get to Europe? Which migration event in to Europe? They didn't grow there, so how did they get there? When? Where from?
"Nords also come from the same people that entered into Europe from the Caucusus mountains around 600 BC."
Light skinned blue eyed remains have been found in Sweden dating back ~8000 years if I'm not mistaken. How could they have come from people who "entered" Europe in 500-600BC? I suppose you did say thay secularists say 8000 years so you are going from your personal beliefs.
I truly do not know where my ancestors are from, but based on the fact that I had almost white blond hair as a youth but now have a beard with blond, brown, black, red and brown hair in it (and brown eyes) I assume that I am just a bit of a mutt. Definitely a decent amount of neanderthal in me lol. Scottish and British heritage as far as I do know. Canadians for 4-5 generations.
Anyway, you're clearly more well versed on this topic than I am, and I did not intend to come off as argumentative. Cheers.
Looks like the cited paper is not new, it is from 2013. Since that article only presents one side I went ahead and found one of those refutations you mentioned.
The article goes over all of that. Why don't you read it? And yes he DNA tested old bones from 3 different locations that were identified and deemed from the original Israeli people according to biblical passages. The man's work is quite thorough.
Resurrecting the ancient Israelites from the Valley of Dry Bones
by geneticist Dr. Eran Elhaik
[Editor’s Note: VT has known Israeli geneticist Eran Elhaik since 2013 when we spotted the Jewish genome work he was doing at Johns Hopkins.]
We noted right away that he was another of the many academics who do not let ideology and politics influence his scientific research, which is always a breath of fresh air in the geopolitical sewer that VT has to swim in every day.
His work was politically controversial but solid, and he was able to defend it from the shills that attempted to discredit it.
In short, his work showed that Ashkenazic Jews have about as much “people of the land” DNA as some Europeans have Neanderthal DNA.
But Europeans have never referred to themselves as ancient Neanderthals nor laid claim to Africa as the “ancient homeland”, other than the former colonialists before conditions drove them into exile.
Elhaik describes below that the Yemenis have the closest blood links to the ancient Israelis, while the Saudis, with support from Israel, have actually been doing a mini-genocide on these closest relatives of the Ancients.
**My Note: I had to look up who/what this news source VT was.**
This is what it says: *VT is an uncensored independent alternative foreign policy media; a place for intelligent civil discourse focusing on U.S. Foreign Policy and Military Issues around the world.*
*VT operates as de-centralized virtual media providing fully 100% independent writers from the USA and around the world a free and open platform to present information and their points of view without censorship in the spirit of press freedom and democracy.*
*VT is NOT News. It is a blog about Foreign Policy issues with opinions and comments from writers and readers…it’s an international online community discussing the issues.*

Even if they WERE Jews (note: not Hebrews), most converted to Christianity or Islam, making them goys, therefore non-humans in the eyes of Talmudists and the racist state of Israel.
Redheads & blondes that can't even tan (they become pink) are not the types of humans that evolve in a desert/hot climate.
So everyone else in the area has olive skin (i.e. enough melamin to change the skin color to match the plentiful sun) but the chosenites don't? because they're chosen, right? That's why they look different than anyone else in the area?
The modern day Jews are not, and have never been, God's Israel people as proven by the bible, history and even Jewish writings. As a people they are anti-Christ and enemies of God. By their own writings, 90-97% are of Khazar, Ashkenaz descent through Japheth. Esau is Edom, Genesis 36. "Edom is in modern Jewry", The Jewish Encyclopedia. 3-9% are of Edomite, Canaanite descent. These are the descendants of those who argued with Christ and saw to Christ's death. See what he told them in John 8 and 10. They admitted they were not Israelites. Blessing God's enemies brings punishment to us and they know about Balaam. Palestinians are not Israel either. They are children of Abram, not Abraham. What one people have heard Christ's voice and followed Christ for almost 2000 years?
Real Israelite would likely be genetically similar to Iranian/Iraqi s. Abraham was called out of Ur or the chaldeans and that was his heritage per scripture. He left with his wife, nephew, Lot,and nephews wife along with servants and herds and was directed by God to the land of Canaan. They remained genetically isolated until Abraham had relations with his wife's servant (Egyptian Hagar) and Ishmael was born. From him came 12 tribes who hated the descendants of his 1/2 brother Isaac, the son of Promise, through whom true genetic Israelites descended.
They often intermarriied against God's instructions with various groups, some related thru Lot and his daughters. Also the canaanites and other people's there. Following the destruction of the 10 tribes of Israel those tribes were dispersed among the nations as punishment. Then Judah was taken to Babylon, returned 70 years later and rebuilt Jerusalem and Co tinued there until AD 70 when Rome destroyed and dispersed the people remaining as punishment for rejecting Messiah.
The Khazarian theory makes sense as European jews are ethnically eastern European not middle eastern in origin. I have about 12% eastern European jew and tracing it back it's definitely my maternal side, back to one or two maternal great grand mothers from Germany. No one practiced Judaism to my knowledge in the family line so I'm guessing the women married non khazarian jews and never practiced that religion as adults. People who say they are Jewish today, most likely fail to realize their ancestors were converts not ethnically jewish/descended from Abraham.
Biblically, all believers in Jesus Crist, the Messiah are the true "Sons of Abraham" regardless of genetics.
The Bible speaks of the chosen people, speaks of Israel, speaks of how you have to chase out the money lenders, talks about how Cain killed Abel. And none of it is literal. It's written in a certain code, that uses specific imagery and symbols. This "code" is called the Kaballah. By understanding Kaballah, you will understand the true teachings of Christ & the Bible.
It has NOTHING to do with current day Israel. They aren't anymore chosen than you or me.
I trust and appreciate VT. They tell you they are NOT news but there is alot of good information and citizen journalism & research. What I do not trust and appreciate is John’s Hopkins much less any medical industry these days.
Besides this being a dumb article… after a lifetime of hearing about conflict in the Middle East, I just don’t care much anymore. It’s up to them to deal with their stuff. Let’s deal with ours.
I call BS on this article. It is like quoting a pro Nazi article on how great Hitler is! Besides that, the Palestinians descended from Esau, Jacobs brother. I am sure this study took examples of every Jew in Israel! KEK
I read through the article. It is very thorough and the study has lots and lots of citations and years of genomic research. Read my above comment as to what else I found.

Quit asking questions and trust the science, bigot!
LOL!
khechk
You barely need a DNA test to know that people with white skin and blue eyes might not be entirely indigenous to the middle east.

Your "we" seems to be a slim margin of the population. Nordic Europeans developed light skin and blue eyes many thousands of years ago.
I don't understand what you are getting at, young_patriot said whites cant be from the mid east so addressed that, now youre arguing when fair skin and eyes developed.

No Evidence from Genome-Wide Data of a Khazar Origin for the Ashkenazi Jews
The article goes over all of that. Why don't you read it? And yes he DNA tested old bones from 3 different locations that were identified and deemed from the original Israeli people according to biblical passages. The man's work is quite thorough.
Wow. The article definitely shows (LOL) that they are not able to come up with any conclusive results!!!!
Wow! If true, this explains a lot, doesn't it?
Noteworthy from the article:

An inconvenient truth
So then why don’t the Palestinians just claim to be Jews? Then they can take a DNA test and prove it. No more Palestinians, no more conflicts.
Maybe they don't know about any of this. Do you see what kind of life they have? They live a life that is much different than ours.
Even if they WERE Jews (note: not Hebrews), most converted to Christianity or Islam, making them goys, therefore non-humans in the eyes of Talmudists and the racist state of Israel.
I mean duh.
Redheads & blondes that can't even tan (they become pink) are not the types of humans that evolve in a desert/hot climate.

Or maybe they are not from there to begin with.
Abram was from Ur, right?

Never said they were chosen. Tjey rejected their Savior. But these jews arent even jews they are synagogue of Satan.
