I'm under the same assumption, however most parody accounts on X I've seen say (Parody) next to the name. il Donaldo Trumpo's account doesn't and the profile says "(And a little bit of parody...😂😂😂)"
He randomly blocked my twitter account years ago and I didn't even say anything negative to him. I think it was on accident (he's the only person who has ever blocked me besides liberals) but it sucks I can't see his posts on my account.

If they truly did pull an off-switch on Meta because of Super Tuesday, I don't really follow the logic. It's not like taking down Facebook is going to make anyone suddenly switch their vote from Republican to Democrat? Maybe someone else can explain the logic because I certainly don't understand it.
Face book reminds voters to go the polls. Usually 120% of the democrats get notifications. 10% of republicans do. It will impact voter turn out.

Only real benefit would be making it mildly more difficult to communicate and for people to report shenanigans at polling stations.

What was the goal of using a kill switch that only impacted Meta platforms and only lasted a few hours on Tuesday morning?
Probably intended to keep it down longer. I rarely use Facebook but the last time I had to log-in was years ago... across all my devices I got weird FB email alerts yesterday about being tagged in posts that were sometimes months old only to find out that I had been logged out of the app on every device I’ve ever used FB on.
